Abstract

The increase in the number of violent incidents occurring in schools due to acts of intolerance indicates that the concept of multicultural education has not yet been fully implemented. Therefore, the aim of this service activity is to strengthen multicultural education through religious literacy. This can be a strategic effort to equip students with a good understanding of tolerance in diversity. In its implementation, this activity will adopt the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) methodology. The ABCD method was chosen with the consideration that this activity is more focused on guidance. The outcome of this activity is that religious literacy can be highly effective in strengthening multicultural education, with students showing openness, respecting different beliefs, and embracing diversity well.ABSTRAKMeningkatnya jumlah kekerasan yang terjadi di lingkungan sekolah disebabkan oleh tindakan-tindakan intoleransi, menunjukkan bahwa konsep dari pendidikan multikultural belumlah sepenuhnya diterapkan dengan baik. Oleh sebab itulah, kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat pendidikan multikultural melalui literasi agama. Hal ini dapat menjadi upaya strategis dalam membekali peserta didik untuk memiliki pengetahuan yang baik mengenai toleransi dalam keberagaman. Dalam pelaksanaannya, Kegiatan ini akan mengimplementasikan metodologi Asset Bassed Community Develovment (ABCD). Metode ABCD ini dipilih dengan pertimbangan bahwa kegiatan ini lebih bersifat pendampingan. Adapun hasil kegiatan ini ialah literasi agama dapat sangat efektif memperkuat pendidikan multikultural, siswa menunjukkan sikap keterbukaan, menghormati keyakinan yang berbeda dan merangkul keberagaman dengan baik.

Abstract

In the new trend of the transformation of women's roles from the 19th century to the present, a number of issues have emerged within religious communities, causing women to face ethical and psychological dilemmas. Therefore, this study aims to describe gender and family welfare; the Islamic perspective on the transformation of women's roles in the era of globalization. This research applies the library research method with a philosophical approach and analyzes the data using an interdisciplinary perspective. The findings of the study are as follows: First, through education and the development of communication technology, both women and men have equal opportunities to access information, which allows for equality between women and men, both inside and outside the household. Second, spiritually, socially, economically, and politically, Islam, through various verses in the Qur'an, has allowed women to become modern individuals by engaging in activities just like other human beings. Third, family empowerment can be achieved by building the principle of Tawhid; making the Qur'an the guide for family life; using the criteria of faith and piety as measures of success; fostering friendly, polite, and gentle behavior within the family; and nurturing a balance between modernity and spirituality in the family. Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are unique Islamic educational institutions that have existed for more than a century. Their continuity is supported by their ability to innovate, as demonstrated by the Al-Junaidiyah Mandailing Natal Islamic Boarding School. One of its important innovations is the integration of entrepreneurial character alongside the strengthening of religious values. In this regard, this study aims to analyze the cultivation of religious and entrepreneurial character through integrated Islamic education. This study employs a qualitative research method based on case studies. Data collection includes interviews, observations, and document analysis. Data analysis is conducted using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model. The findings reveal that Al-Junaidiyah Islamic Boarding School not only focuses on deepening religious knowledge but also equips students with entrepreneurial values to enhance their competitiveness in society. These values are instilled through the strong commitment of the kyai and pesantren administrators. The planting methods used include integration-based learning, modeling, habituation, discipline, and a reward and punishment system. This study also develops Bourdieu's theory of cultural capital, emphasizing the importance of spiritual and dogmatic aspects in the process of internalizing religious values.

Abstract

Abstract The existence of law as a rule or social norm, is to regulate social life. Law as an order and guide in behavior is intended to regulate human behavior in social life in order to protect social life and further to maintain social life. In principle, the law only gets its validity when the community accepts it and then obeys it. Compliance with this law can mean acceptance internally or externally. External acceptance is paying attention to formalities or the legal form cannot be separated from the coercive power inherent in the law in the form of sanctions for those who violate it, then the law is interpreted as a coercion. But on the other hand, internal acceptance is more about legal acceptance, which is not only a formality but is more substantial. So that the law is substantially, indeed aims to protect the interests of the community so that they have the obligation and awareness to comply with it. This process of acceptance through good internalization of the law should be owned by every member of the community as a form of compliance with the law. Keywords: Philosophical Studies, Compliance, Legal Philosophy Abstrak Keberadaan hukum sebagai aturan ataupun norma sosial, adalah untuk mengatur kehidupan bermasyarakat. Hukum sebagai tatanan dan pedoman dalam bertingkah laku ditujukan untuk mengatur tingkah laku manusia dalam hidup bermasyarakat dalam rangka melindungi kehidupan bermasyarakat dan lebih lanjut untuk mempertahankan kehidupan bermasyarakat. Pada prinsipnya hukum barulah mendapatkan keberlakuannya ketika masyarakat menerima yang kemudian mematuhinya. Kepatuhan terhadap hukum ini bisa bermakna penerimaan secara internal maupun eksternal. Penerimaan secara eksternal adalah memberikan perhatian secara formalitas atau bentuk hukum tersebut tidak dapat dipisahkan dengan daya paksa yang melekat pada hukum berupa sanksi bagi yang melanggarnya, maka hukum dimaknai sebagai suatu paksaan. Namun di sisi lain penerimaan secara internal lebih kepada penerimaan hukum yang tidak hanya secara formalitas tetapi lebih kepada substansial. Sehingga hukum secara substansial, memanglah bertujuan untuk melindungi kepentingan masyarakat sehingga memiliki kewajiban dan kesadaran untuk mematuhinya. Proses penerimaan melalui internalisasi yang baik terhadap hukum inilah yang hendaknya dimiliki oleh setiap anggota masyarakat sebagai suatu bentuk kepatuhan terhadap hukum.

Abstract

This research aims to develop Islamic investment based on financial technology (fintech) in the digital era, with a focus on increasing financial inclusion, Islamic financial literacy, and developing innovative and efficient investment products. The research method used is a library approach, as well as secondary data analysis from the literature. Overall, this study shows that the development of fintech-based Islamic investment in the digital era requires the integration of sophisticated technology, increased Islamic financial literacy, adequate regulatory support and collaboration between industry players. The development of fintech-based Islamic investment has the potential to increase financial inclusion and provide better investment alternatives for people who want to invest in accordance with sharia principles

Abstract

This article comes as a response to the tragedy of intolerance in the name of religion and spiritual discourse of the 21st century, the focus of his study is to answer the problem of how to realize a public space dominated by moderation of all components of life. The data used in this article is sourced from library research and applies an interdisciplinary approach. The research findings are; Many religious researchers argue, religion will experience extinction in modern society, what happens is the repositioning of the epistemological building of religious traditions through spiritual discourse based on empirical research, namely; 3P + 2S (Personal Relationship, Psitivity, Passion + Sense of Progress, Spritual Blue Diamons). This spiritual discourse does not intend to replace religion. The aim is to encourage a more harmonious public life, without eliminating the role of religion for life, preserving relevant elements in religion, discarding obsolete religious ways. Meanwhile, efforts to realize public spaces dominated by moderation are; Every individual must understand the basic concepts of religion and religious relations, understand the principles of religion, humanity, and togetherness, revive ukhuwah Islamiyah for social networks, as well as actualize spiritual wisdom and religious rationality.

Abstract

Filsafat Ekonomi Islam Syafruddin Prawiranegara berpendapat bahwa sistem ekonomi berbasis Islam dan bunga bank tidaklah bertentangan satu sama lain. Bunga bank berbeda dengan riba dalam Islam, bunga bank yang wajar tidak sama dengan riba. Riba dalam pandangan Syafruddin adalah keuntungan yang diperoleh dari transaksi yang bersifat eksploitatif dan penipuan, riba bisa terjadi dalam transaksi tunai atau kredit. Sistem ekonomi syariah sebenarnya adalah kegiatan ekonomi yang dibimbing dan diarahkan oleh norma-norma Islam. Di antara norma-norma Islam adalah kesetaraan dan kejujuran. Oleh karena itu, menurutnya di dalam sistem ekonomi Islam bisa saja terdapat pembungaan uang, asal bunga yang wajar. Sebaliknya, di dalam sistem ekonomi yang tanpa bunga bisa saja terjadi riba manakala di dalamnya masih terjadi eksploitasi dan penipuan.

Abstract

Mengamati keadaan peserta didik di SMPN 2 Panyabungan khususnya mengenai karakter, terlihat masih ada perilaku peserta didik yang tidak mencerminkan nilainilai karakter yang baik. Misal, rendahnya nilai etiket atau sopan santun peserta didik, rendahnya tingkat kedisiplinan peserta didik, dan sebagian kecil dari peserta didik terindikasi mengikuti perilaku kenakalan remaja. Dalam rangka memperkuat pendidikan karakter ini, kemudian Tim STAIN Mandailing Natal melaksanakan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat melalui implementasi program berbasis nilai-nilai religius. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR). Adapun implementasi program ini meliputi; mengaji Alquran bersama (Yasinan, Takhtim dan Tahlil), sholat dzuhur berjamaah, dan memperingati hari besar keagamaan Islam. Hasil dari pengabdian ini meperlihatkan adanya penguatan terhadap pendidikan karakter, munculnya perubahan karakter pada diri peserta didik, dan implementasi program ini masih terus dilakukan di SMPN 2 Panyabungan secara konsisten.

Abstract

This study aims to reformulate the post-pandemic learning system at UIN Imam Bonjol and UIN Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad Addari in responding to the challenges of lost learning and lost generation. This research used a qualitative approach with a multi-case study method. Participants in this study were selected by purposive sampling, namely institutional field, and academic leaders, LPM, lecturers and students. Data collection techniques using focus group discussions and interviews. The data analysis technique was carried out with individual and cross-case analyses. The research findings stated that the pandemic affected the learning system, for example, through changes in student attitudes, low motivation in learning, readiness of teaching materials, limited ability to use technology, and network disruption. Policies related to the implementation of distance learning bring challenges that must be faced by UIN Imam Bonjol and UIN Syahada, including determining learning goals, adapting the learning system, adjusting the characteristics of lecturers and students, as well as the need for learning facilities. UIN Imam Bonjol and UIN Syahada reformulated the learning system by implementing the hybrid learning system to anticipate the occurrence of lost learning. Lecturers and students responded positively to the new learning system policy, in line with the benefits obtained, for example, flexibility in learning, students are used to self-study, digital-based learning materials, still respect face-to-face learning, flipped learning innovation, curriculum appropriate to the industrial era 4.0, and the implementation of an independent curriculum.
