Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of Social Media Marketing Activities (SMMA) on purchase intention, using Fitfuel as a case study. The research examines the impact of SMMA on brand awareness and customer trust, and how these two variables influence purchase intention. A quantitative approach was employed, using online questionnaires distributed to 200 respondents, supported by interviews with Fitfuel's management. The external and internal environment were analyzed through PESTEL, Porter’s Five Forces, competitor analysis, STP, Marketing Mix, VRIO, and SWOT. Results show that SMMA has a significant positive effect on both brand awareness and customer trust. In turn, both brand awareness and customer trust positively influence purchase intention. However, communication between consumers and the brand (as part of SMMA) was found to have a less significant effect compared to other indicators. The study presents a TOWS matrix and implementation plan to offer strategic actions for Fitfuel to optimize its digital marketing, strengthen brand perception, and increase conversion. This research contributes to understanding how digital marketing components affect customer behavior in the health food sector.

Abstract

The construction of warehousing and supporting facilities at Juwata Airport has several obstacles that cause delays in the implementation of the work, so a work control method is needed, namely the earned value method by assessing the cost and time performance of project implementation such as Cost Variance (CV), Schedule Variance (SV), Schedule Performance Index (SPI), and Cost Performance Index (CPI) as well as the estimated cost and time of project completion. The purpose of this research is to calculate the amount of cost needed to complete the project of Warehousing Development Package and Supporting Facilities of Juwata Airport on time according to the plan schedule. The method used is the Earned Value Method in evaluating cost performance and time performance. The analysis carried out uses 3 (three) indicators, namely ACWP (Actual Cost of Work Performance), BCWP (Budgeted Cost of Work Performance) and BCWS (Budgeted Cost of Work Scheduled). By using the earned value method, the final project cost estimate obtained from the EAC is Rp. 15,019,062,678.43 and the estimated time / Time Estimate (TE) at week 26 shows 239 calendar days so that the completion time is 28 days late from the contract schedule. And the solution to the delay is to accelerate the work with an additional cost of Rp. 68,970,000. Future research should explore optimization strategies to enhance efficiency in cost estimation and project scheduling.

Abstract

Construction project control is a systematic process aimed at ensuring that project objectives align with planning standards. One method used to accelerate project duration is "crashing," which involves reducing the time of specific activities that affect project completion, focusing particularly on activities on the critical path. This research adopts a descriptive method to collect and analyze data on the status of current symptoms related to project time management. Data collection was conducted through documentation, utilizing records, images, and work outputs. The results show that total project costs decrease significantly as the level of time compression (reduction of project duration) increases. However, increasing labor costs exhibits a small but consistent rise, indicating lower cost efficiency. The most optimal project costs were observed when additional working time was utilized, as opposed to adding more labor. In conclusion, while the crashing method is effective for reducing the risk of fines and indirect costs, selecting the best alternative requires balancing productivity and marginal costs (cost-time trade-off). For similar projects, extending working hours proves more cost-effective than increasing workforce size.

Abstract

The development of educational infrastructure is a crucial aspect in supporting the improvement of the quality of learning and human resource development in Indonesia. However, in its implementation, construction projects often face challenges in the form of delays in completion and cost inefficiencies, which impact the disruption of the educational process and increase the budget. This study aims to analyze the cost efficiency and acceleration of the implementation time of the Sunan Ampel Jombang Junior High School construction project through the crashing method approach, which is a technique in project management used to accelerate project completion time by selectively adding resources to critical activities. The delay in the start of a project is the main problem faced by the implementers of the Sunan Ampel Jombang Junior High School construction project, resulting in delays in final completion and an inflated project value. Based on the analysis conducted, this study also provides solutions to overcome this. The results of the analysis of the Sunan Ampel Jombang Junior High School construction project show an additional cost of Rp. 163,845,745.00 from the normal work cost to Rp. 2,623,114,845.00, an increase of 0.93%. This research provides practical contributions for project managers and contractors in making strategic decisions related to controlling project time and costs and can be a reference in managing the risk of project delays in the future.

Abstract

The Situbondo – Ketapang – Banyuwangi Road and Bridge Preservation Project experienced changes in the work area, requiring additional design. Asphalt overlay work was halted awaiting the test results of Asphalt Modiv PG – 70 from the Pusjatan Road Material Laboratory in Bandung, resulting in a delay in week 40 by -0.813%. Specifically, AC - WC and AC - BC asphalt work was delayed, significantly impacting the overall project performance. Cost and time analysis are crucial to address this issue. The Earned Value Management (EVM) method is used to evaluate project duration and costs. The Cost Performance Index (CPI) indicates good cost performance (>1), but the Schedule Performance Index (SPI) indicates schedule delays (0.983 < 1). The final project cost is estimated at Rp 112,439,121,070.91, with a completion time of 453 days, three days longer than planned. Effective strategies are needed in time control and design adjustments to complete the project according to expected standards.

Abstract

Effective project management is the key to success in constructing the boarding school of SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Tulangan. Despite facing various challenges such as design changes, inclement weather, and limited workforce resources, the project is monitored using the Earned Value Method. Analysis of BCWS, BCWP, ACWP, SV, CV, SPI, and CPI indicates initial delays and budget overruns, but significant improvement later on. Despite weekly cost variations, the project remains financially manageable. The conclusion shows time delays but cost performance is under control. This underscores the importance of project performance evaluation and the use of the Earned Value Method in construction projects.

Abstract

In construction project management, achieving three main goals, namely cost, quality, and time, becomes the primary focus. This study aims to evaluate a road widening project in Mojokerto Regency with a target completion time of 150 days. To prevent delays and cost overruns, researchers adopted the Earned Value method as a tool to identify early warnings regarding project performance. This method integrates cost and time measurements through indicators such as Cost Variance (CV), Schedule Variance (SV), Cost Performance Index (CPI), Schedule Performance Index (SPI), Estimated at Completion (EAC), and Estimated Schedule at Completion (EAC). The analysis results show that the additional costs required (ETC) amounted to Rp 3,276,704,110.14, with an estimated additional time (ETS) up to the 12th week being 87 days. The project's cost change (EAC) reached Rp 3,961,767,811.01 from the contract cost, while the estimated project completion time (EAS) was 171 days. These findings indicate that the construction service provider has implemented an efficient execution method with consistent monitoring, ensuring the smooth progress of the project.

Abstract

The reconstruction of the Surabaya-Gempol Toll Road underscores the critical role of effective project management in large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly in ensuring time and cost efficiency. This study employs the Earned Value Method (EVM) to evaluate project performance through the analysis of Schedule Variance (SV) and Cost Variance (CV). These indicators provide a comprehensive assessment of the project's adherence to its planned schedule and budget. The findings reveal that the project faced initial schedule delays due to logistical and technical challenges, resulting in negative SV values during the early weeks. These delays were primarily caused by weather conditions, late material deliveries, and coordination issues among project stakeholders. However, corrective measures, including extended working hours, additional labor deployment, and optimized scheduling, successfully addressed these issues, leading to positive SV values towards the end of the project. The CV analysis highlighted consistent cost efficiency throughout the project. Positive CV values dominated the majority of the timeline, reflecting effective cost control and resource management. Despite minor cost deviations due to unanticipated repairs and equipment maintenance, the project demonstrated an ability to maintain overall financial performance within the budget framework. This study emphasizes the significance of data-driven decision-making and proactive variance management in achieving project goals. By leveraging SV and CV analyses, infrastructure projects can better anticipate potential issues, implement timely corrective actions, and improve overall performance. The results of this research offer valuable insights for managing similar large-scale projects, contributing to enhanced efficiency and sustainable development in Indonesia's infrastructure sector.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of building construction project financing, which includes contract value, project duration, and number of floors, on human resource costs (Expert Costs, Skilled Labor Costs, and Worker/Mandor Costs) in building construction projects within the Dili City Government Office. The research focuses on 20 building projects in the Dili City Government Office environment. Using project report documents as data, the independent variables in this study are contract value, project duration, and the number of floors, while the dependent variables are the costs associated with experts, skilled labor, and workers/mandors/laden. The study employs multiple linear regression analysis to assess the relationship between these variables. The results show that the contract value has a significant partial effect on human resource costs, including expert costs, skilled labor costs, and worker/mandor costs. This indicates that a higher contract value influences the allocation of human resource costs in building construction projects. In conclusion, the study highlights the importance of managing contract value, project duration, and the number of floors to optimize human resource costs and ensure efficient project completion.

Abstract

This research addresses the critical issue of insufficient budget allocation for Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) systems in construction projects, specifically in the Rubaru 1 Elementary School building project in Sumenep District, Indonesia. The study explores how limited financial resources for safety measures, such as personal protective equipment (PPE), worker training, and health facilities, affect the implementation and effectiveness of OHS systems. The urgency of this research lies in the growing need to allocate adequate resources to OHS, as insufficient funding increases the risk of workplace accidents, delays project timelines, and raises costs. Previous studies, including Lestari et al. (2023) and Saragi & Sinaga (2021), have emphasized the positive impact of adequate OHS budgets on reducing accidents and improving productivity. However, a gap exists in research regarding the specific cost components required for effective OHS implementation, especially in relation to construction projects with limited budgets. This study fills this gap by analyzing the key cost components for OHS and their direct impact on worker safety and project performance. The findings will provide valuable insights for construction companies to optimize their OHS budgets and enhance safety measures. It also contributes to the development of industry standards and practices for OHS management in future construction projects.
