Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the socio-economic description of clove farmers, and to determine the direction and form of clove farmer household investment in Umpungeng Village, Lalabata District, Soppeng Regency. This research is a descriptive research. Sources of data obtained by respondents from 66 households. Data collection in this study was carried out using observation and documentation techniques. The data obtained were then analyzed by descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the research on socio-economic conditions showed that the level of education was low as much as 34.85% did not finish elementary school, the number of household members and the average dependent load was 3-7 people. and side livelihoods include cocoa farmers, coffee farmers, entrepreneurs, carpenters, honorary employees, and civil servants, clove farmer households as many as 66 respondents were declared not poor 100%, the average capital was > Rp. 1,500,000 - 2,000,000 with a land area of 1 hectare. The results of the direction and form of clove farmers' investment, namely the sale of cloves, are invested for household development, savings, and gold. Other forms of investment include human resource development, worship development, and business development.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran sosial ekonomi petani cengkeh, dan untuk mengetahui arah dan bentuk investasi rumah tangga petani cengkeh di Desa Umpungeng Kecamatan Lalabata Kabupaten Soppeng. Penelitian ini merupan penelitian deskriptif. Sumber data diperoleh responden 66 rumah tangga. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian kondisi sosial ekonomi menujukkan tingkat pendidikan rendah sebanyak sebanyak 34,85 % tidak tamat SD, jumlah anggota rumah tangga dan beban tanggungan rata-rata 3-7 orang. dan mata pencaharian sampingan meliputi petani kakao, petani kopi, pengusaha, tukang kayu, pegawai honor, dan Pegawai Negeri Sipil, rumah tangga petani cengkeh sebanyak 66 responden dinyatakan tidak miskin 100%, rata-rata menggunakan modal sebesar > Rp.1.500.000-2.000.000,  luas lahan yang digunakan 1 Ha. Hasil arah dan bentuk investasi petani cengkeh yaitu penjualan cengkeh di investasikan untuk pengembangan rumah tangga, tabungan, dan emas. Adapun bentuk investasi lainnya berupa pengembangan sumber daya manusia, pengembangan ibadah, dan pengembangan usaha.

Abstract

This literacy empowers communities to devise fitting strategies and actions in line with their specific conditions. Local knowledge-based disaster literacy plays a crucial role during disasters. Consequently, it can decrease disaster impact, raise community resilience, and facilitate recovery in the aftermath. This service aims to assess students' level of geoliteracy about disaster-related information and encourage them to craft disaster education posters informed by local wisdom. This program relies on mentoring and demonstrations, designed to employ clear and accessible language for the students. Implementing geoliteracy services for students at SMA Negeri 5 Sigi, specifically making disaster education posters based on local knowledge, is an effective method to enhance students' comprehension of disaster mitigation while preserving the surrounding culture.

Abstract

SMA Negeri 10 Kabupaten Sigi termasuk sekolah yang berada di lokasi bencana dan tentunya berdampak langsung terhadap banjir bandang yang terjadi belakangan ini, sehingga siswa mengalami penurunan proses pembelajaran secara optimal dan kurangnya pengetahuan tentang literasi bencana. Tujuan pengabdian pada masyarakat yang akan dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 10 Kabupaten Sigi adalah untuk mengedukasi siswa dalam kesiapsiagaan banjir terhadap penguatan literasi bencana berbasis konten video pembelajaran. Kegiatan ini dilakukan pada siswa siswi berjumlah 30 orang menggunakan metode desain pra dan post test. Evaluasi kegiatan digunakan kuisioner untuk mengukur pengetahuan siswa sebelum dan sesudah edukasi yang diberikan. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan dengan uji statistik terhadap capaian nilai pra dan post test dengan uji t untuk data berpasangan (paired test). Ada perbedaan rerata nilai pengetahuan siswa sebelum diberikan edukasi 73,67 dan sesudahnya 89,00. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut disimpulkan bawa pemberian edukasi pada siswa dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan mereka tentang literasi bencana. Kegiatan edukasi ini berjalan lancar dan siswa antusias mengikuti kegiatan. Diharapkan pihak sekolah terus melakukan kegiatan edukasi kesiapsiagaan bencana secara continue untuk memastikan semua warga sekolah memahami kesiapsiagaan bencana dan dapat mengurangi resiko bencana.

Abstract

Indonesia, yang terdiri dari banyak pulau, sangat rentan terhadap perubahan iklim. Peristiwa alam seperti gempa bumi, tsunami, letusan gunung berapi, banjir, kekeringan, dan lainnya adalah akibat dari perubahan iklim. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat pengaruh media video animasi terhadap kesiapsiagaan Bencana banjir pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 10 Sigi . Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode Pre –eksperimental one group pretest dan posttest, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel dengan sampling jenuh , sampel dalam penilitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI ips SMA Negeri 10 Sigi yang berjumlah 36 orang dari satu kelas dengan menggunakan analisis regresi dengan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji regresi linear sederhana, uji T, dan uji determinasi R-square.  Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa sebelum diberikan media video animasi tingkat kesiapsiagaan siswa masuk pada kategori “Kurang siap” dengan persentase (52,7%) ,kemudian setelah diberikan media video animasi tingkat kesiapsiagaan siswa masuk dalam kategori “Siap” dengan persentase (77,6%) . Nilai signifikansi regresi 0,000 yang lebih kecil dari 0,05 dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh media video animasi terhadap kesiapsiagaan bencana banjir pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 10 Sigi

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the Team Quiz type cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes at SMAN 4 Palu. This study uses a quantitative research method with the type of Quasi Experimental research. Data collection techniques that include observations, tests, and documentation to determine student learning outcomes using a team quiz-type cooperative learning model. The research sample consists of two classes, namely an experimental class that applies the Team Quiz model and a control class that uses the Discussion learning method. Data was collected through learning outcome tests conducted before and after the implementation of the learning model. Data analysis was carried out with a test (t-test) to compare the learning outcomes of the two groups. The results of this study show that the application of the team quiz type cooperative learning model has an influence on the learning outcomes of grade XI students in Geography at SMAN 4 Palu. Based on results The research obtained the average score of student learning outcomes in the experimental class was 78.5 and the control class was 68.58. and data analysis that includes pretest and posttest tests using an inferential statistical formula at a significant level of 0.05. The calculated t-test is obtained t-count = 4.28 and the significant level a = 0.05 in t-table in 1.667 this means t-count > t-table. So that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So it can be concluded that the team quiz type cooperative learning model has an effect on student learning outcomes. Therefore, it is recommended that teachers consider using this model in the learning process to improve student engagement and understanding.

Abstract

SMA Negeri 1 Kabupaten Sigi termasuk sekolah yang memerlukan penguatan literasi mitigasi bencana likuifaksi, karena minimnya pemahaman siswa mengenai bencana likuifaksi yang dapat meningkatkan resiko keselamatan saat bencana terjadi. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini yang dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Kabupaten Sigiadalah untuk mengedukasi siswa tentang likuifaksi dan mitigasinya melalui penguatan literasi bencana untuk kewaspadaan siswa. Kegiatan ini dilakukan pada siswa siswi berjumlah 22 orang menggunakan metode desain pra dan post test. Evaluasi kegiatan digunakan soal untuk mengukur pengetahuan siswa sebelum dan sesudah edukasi yang diberikan. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan dengan uji statistik terhadap capaian nilai pra dan post test  dengan uji t untuk data berpasangan (paired test). Ada perbedaan rerata nilai pengetahuan siswa sebelum diberikan edukasi 79,50 dan sesudahnya 86,36. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut disimpulkan bahwa pemberian edukasi pada siswa dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan mereka tentang literasi bencana. Kegiatan edukasi ini berjalan lancer dan siswa antusias mengikuti kegiatan. Diharapkan pihak sekolah terus melakukan kegiatan edukasi likuifaksi dan mitigasinya secara lanjut utuk memastikan semua warga sekolah memahami mitigasi bencana dan dapat mengurangi resiko bencana.

Abstract

The use of audio-visual media is crucial to enhance students' understanding of disaster mitigation material as it can improve students' memory retention. This study aims to determine the effect of utilizing audio-visual media on improving disaster mitigation knowledge among 11th-grade students at Senior High School 10 Sigi. The research used a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control-group design. The research design involved pretests and posttests in both the experimental and control classes. Data analysis techniques included normality tests, homogeneity tests, N-Gain tests, and t-tests. Based on the results of the N-Gain test calculation, the average N-Gain score in the experimental class using audio-visual media was 75.4%, which falls into the high category. Meanwhile, the average N-Gain score in the control class using conventional teaching methods was 49%, which falls into the medium category. The t-test yielded a Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05, meaning the hypothesis is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that audio-visual media significantly impacts improving students' disaster mitigation knowledge at Senior High School 10 Sigi.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the limited availability of effective and engaging teaching materials, as well as the lack of e-modules in the learning process, particularly in Geography subjects. The urgency of this study lies in the importance of environmental literacy as a key competency for students to address global challenges. Therefore, the objective of this research was to develop a Geography e-module aimed at enhancing students’ environmental literacy. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) design using the ADDIE model, although it was limited to three stages: analysis, design, and development. Validation results showed that the developed e-module received an assessment score of 78.12% from media experts, 92.03% from material experts, and 80% from practitioners/Geography teachers. Meanwhile, the small group trial obtained a score of 85.91%. Based on the one-sample t-test conducted to measure students’ environmental literacy, the significance value was 0.001 (p < 0.05). This indicates that Ha was accepted, meaning that the average post-test score of students (86) was significantly higher than the reference value (61). This result falls into the “very good” and “effective” category. In conclusion, the developed Geography e-module was proven to be feasible, valid, and effective in improving students’ environmental literacy. This product can serve as an innovative solution in learning and contributes to the advancement of sustainable education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas dampak pembangunan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Uap (PLTU) Palu 3 terhadap kehidupan sosial dan ekonomi masyarakat di Desa Lero Tatari, Kecamatan Sindue, Kabupaten Donggala. PLTU ini merupakan proyek strategis nasional yang bertujuan meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat dan pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara sosial, keberadaan PLTU membawa perubahan pada pola interaksi sosial, struktur masyarakat, serta masuknya budaya baru akibat pekerja dari luar daerah. Selain itu, terdapat peningkatan fasilitas pendidikan dan infrastruktur desa. Namun, muncul juga kekhawatiran masyarakat terhadap dampak lingkungan seperti pencemaran udara yang dapat mempengaruhi kesehatan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of school preparedness at SMA Negeri 10 in facing flood disasters in Rogo Village, South Dolo Sub-district, Sigi Regency. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with questionnaire, observation, and documentation methods. School preparedness parameters are 1) Knowledge Attitude or Attitude and Action, 2) Policy Statement or School Policy, 3) Emergency Planning or Emergency Response Plan, and 4) Resource Mobilization Capacity or Resource Mobilization, were collected using questionnaires and analyzed descriptively. Based on data processing and analysis, it was found that the preparedness of the entire School Community (KS) of SMA Negeri 10 Sigi based on a combination of all parameters was in the low category with an index value of 54.14%. It was found that the value of the knowledge parameter was in the medium category with an index of 75.81%, low school policy with an index number of 7.41, low emergency response plan with an index of 50.43, low disaster warning with an index value of 41.23 and resource mobilization in the medium category with an index of 55.74. Thus it can be concluded that SMA Negeri 10 Sigi has not provided educational policies or programs related to flood disaster preparedness in schools, allocated a special budget for school preparedness, policies to integrate flood disaster preparedness materials into relevant subjects and activities. It is necessary to get the attention of the government in this case the District Education Office to immediately carry out regulations and special assistance to prepare disaster preparedness schools, especially at SMAN 10 Sigi and generally in schools located in flood-prone areas.
