Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa kelas VIII MTs Syekh Lokiya Towale dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika berdasarkan Analisis Kesalahan Newman . Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah tes tertulis dan wawancara berupa 2 soal esai dan pedoman wawancara. Teknik wawancara yang digunakan adalah semi terstruktur yang dilakukan terhadap siswa terpilih untuk memastikan jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan dalam menyelesaikan masalah. Subyek dalam penelitian ini dipilih berdasarkan perbedaan gender yaitu satu siswa laki-laki dan satu siswa perempuan dengan pertimbangan siswa yang paling banyak melakukan kesalahan, mampu berkomunikasi dengan baik dan rekomendasi dari guru matematika. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kesalahan yang dilakukan subjek laki-laki (SL) adalah kesalahan pemahaman (comprehension error) , kesalahan keterampilan proses ( process skill error ) dan kesalahan penulisan jawaban akhir ( encoding error) . Kesalahan yang dilakukan subjek perempuan (SP) adalah kesalahan keterampilan proses ( process skill error) dan kesalahan penulisan jawaban akhir ( kesalahan coding) .

Abstract

This research focuses on the application of interactive multimedia based on Microsoft Power Point to increase students' interest in learning Civics in class VIII B of SMP Negeri 3 Balaesang. The subjects of this research were 25 students from class VIII B who took Civics subjects. The type of research used is classroom action research (PTK) which consists of II cycles. The research design follows the research stages which refer to the Kemmis and McTaggart model, namely: (1) planning stage, (2) implementation stage, (3) observation stage, (4) reflection stage. Data collection techniques in this research were carried out using observation sheets, interviews and documentation. The results of the research show that the application of interactive multimedia based on Microsoft PowerPoint can increase students' interest in learning from cycle I to cycle II, namely teacher activity obtained from 50% increased to 83.33% and was included in the very good category. Based on observations of student activities in cycles I and II, it was found that there was an increase, where in cycle I students who got a score of 1 were more dominant than students who got a score of 4, whereas in cycle II there were no more students who got a score of I. There were even several students who got a score. 4.

Abstract

The telecommunications sector is facing increasing competition, and customer churn is still a majorchallenge despite the implementation of advanced promotions and high-quality services. Churn refers tothe discontinuation of services by customers, influenced by several factors that can be found through datamodeling. This study compares two predictive models, Random Survival Forest (RSF) and Fuzzy RandomSurvival Forest (FRSF), for predicting customer churn time in the telecommunications industry. Bothmodels are evaluated using the median C-index value obtained from 20 repetitions, ensuring moreconsistent and reliable results. RSF, a widely used survival analysis method, has shown strong predictivepower, with studies reporting up to 99% accuracy in churn prediction. However, FRSF, a modified versionthat incorporates fuzzy logic, has proved superior performance, particularly in handling imprecise oruncertain data. The results show that FRSF achieves a lower error rate of 0.1739, compared to RSF's errorrate of 0.1906. These findings suggest that FRSF outperforms RSF in churn prediction, making it a morereliable and righter model for finding at-risk customers. The study concludes that the FRSF model is thepreferred choice for predicting churn in the telecommunications industry, offering better predictive qualityand consistency in handling uncertain data.

Abstract

This study investigates the integration of chatbots into Learning Management Systems (LMS) to enhance educational experiences, addressing the challenge of student engagement and support in digital learning environments. Utilizing a Research and Development (R&D) approach, the study systematically developed and implemented a chatbot within the "Mesikola" LMS, analyzing data from surveys, interviews, and pilot testing to assess functionality, usability, and learning outcomes. The data revealed high user satisfaction with features such as real-time feedback and multilingual support, with 87% of students reporting improved engagement and 75% experiencing increased self-efficacy. Additionally, 68% of participants demonstrated enhanced academic performance, showing a 15% increase in quiz scores. These findings suggest that well-designed chatbots can significantly contribute to personalized learning and student motivation, providing essential support in educational contexts. The implications of this study underscore the potential for chatbots to transform learning experiences by fostering greater student autonomy and engagement, although further research is needed to refine their effectiveness in collaborative learning environments.

Abstract

Hipertensi merupakan masalah serius yang umum terjadi di masyarakat yang dapat menyebabkan berbagai komplikasi terhadap penyakit yang lebih serius seperti stroke dan gangguan jantung. Prevalensi hipertensi terus mengalami peningkatan dari tehun ke tahun, terutama pada kelompok umur diatas 40 tahun termasuk pada masyarakat perkotaan seperti di Kota Kendari. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang faktor risiko dan pencegahan hipertensi. Metode pengabdian ini dengan melakukan edukasi dari rumah ke rumah yang diikuti dengan pemeriksaan tekanan darah. Secara umum terbagi atas tiga tahapan yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa rata – rata pengetahuan responden sebelum penyuluhan adalah 7.47 dan setelah penyuluhan menjadi 9.40 serta ada perbedaan yang signifikan pengetahun sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan (p=0.000).  Kesimpulan kegiatan pengabdian ini bahwa edukasi door to door dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan responden dan berhasil dengan baik.

Abstract

Technological developments have encouraged various business sectors to adapt to digitalization, including the baby equipment rental sector. This study aims to design and build a web-based baby equipment rental information system using the Laravel Framework at the Rafana Rent Store in Palopo City. The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach using a prototype development model. Data was obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation of the rental process carried out manually. The results of this study indicate that the system created can overcome various problems in the manual rental process, such as delays in service, recording, which is still done manually in notebooks, and lack of efficiency in payment confirmation. This system provides main features such as online ordering, uploading proof of payment, and managing stock of goods. Through the trials, the system was considered to facilitate customers in carrying out the rental process, which can be done anytime and anywhere, and help shop owners manage transaction data more accurately and provide efficient service to customers. Implementing this system is expected to improve the quality of service and speed up and simplify the rental process. The Rafana Rent Store can manage its business more professionally and be ready to face the digitalization era. This system can also be an example of the application of information technology in micro businesses.

Abstract

Masjid Al Alam adalah masjid di Kota Kendari Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara yang merupakan ikon wisata religi yang dijuluki dengan nama Masjid Terapung. Luas areal masjid sekitar 12.692 m², terdiri dari tiga bagian bangunan, yaitu bangunan utama masjid, plaza tertutup, dan plaza terbuka. Permasalahan lingkungan merupakan salah satu tantangan terbesar yang dihadapi oleh umat manusia di abad ke-21. Di Kota Kendari, wisata religi berkembang di sekitar tempat-tempat ibadah seperti Masjid Agung Al-Kautsar, Masjid Raya Kota Lama, dan Masjid Al-Alam. Masjid Al-Alam, yang megah dan terletak di tengah Teluk Kendari, menjadi ikon wisata religi yang menarik pengunjung lokal maupun mancanegara. Keindahan arsitektur, pemandangan laut, dan suasana religius menjadikan Masjid Al-Alam destinasi unik yang berpotensi besar untuk dikembangkan. Namun, untuk menjadikan Masjid Al-Alam sebagai penggerak ekonomi lokal, dibutuhkan strategi pengembangan wisata religi yang terarah dan komprehensif. metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain study kasus dimana peneliti melakukan observasi berupa pengamatan langsung terhadap kondisi lingkungan sekitar serta bagaimana perilaku antara pedagang dan pembeli di wilayah mesjid Al alam. Terdapat 3 tahap dalam melakukan kegiatan yaitu Tahap Observasi dimana Persiapan dan Mengenal Kondisi Umum Masjid Al-Alam, tahap Edukasi yaitu Langsung Melalui Media Poster Pada tahap ini melakukan edukasi yang dilaksanakan di sekitar Masjid Al-Alam, ​dan tahap terakhir Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan setelah kegiatan edukasi berlangsung.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the Team Quiz type cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes at SMAN 4 Palu. This study uses a quantitative research method with the type of Quasi Experimental research. Data collection techniques that include observations, tests, and documentation to determine student learning outcomes using a team quiz-type cooperative learning model. The research sample consists of two classes, namely an experimental class that applies the Team Quiz model and a control class that uses the Discussion learning method. Data was collected through learning outcome tests conducted before and after the implementation of the learning model. Data analysis was carried out with a test (t-test) to compare the learning outcomes of the two groups. The results of this study show that the application of the team quiz type cooperative learning model has an influence on the learning outcomes of grade XI students in Geography at SMAN 4 Palu. Based on results The research obtained the average score of student learning outcomes in the experimental class was 78.5 and the control class was 68.58. and data analysis that includes pretest and posttest tests using an inferential statistical formula at a significant level of 0.05. The calculated t-test is obtained t-count = 4.28 and the significant level a = 0.05 in t-table in 1.667 this means t-count > t-table. So that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So it can be concluded that the team quiz type cooperative learning model has an effect on student learning outcomes. Therefore, it is recommended that teachers consider using this model in the learning process to improve student engagement and understanding.

Abstract

The Cox Proportional hazard model is a popular method to analyze right-censored survival data. This method is efficient to use if the proportional hazard assumption is fulfilled. This method does not provide an accurate conclusion if these assumptions are not fulfilled. The new innovative method with a non-parametric approach is now developing to predict the time until an event occurs based on machine learning techniques that can solve the limitation of CPH. The method is Random Survival Forest, which analyzes right-censored survival data without regard to any assumptions. This paper aims to compare the predictive quality of the two methods using the C-index value in predicting right-censored survival data on churn data of the telecommunication industry customers with 2P packages consisting of Internet and TV, which are taken from all customer databases in the Jabodetabek area. The results show that the median value of the C-index of the RSF model is 0.769, greater than the median C-index value of the CPH model of 0.689. So the prediction quality of the RSF model is better than the CPH model in predicting the churn of the telecommunications industry customer.
