Abstract

Digital technology’s advances are not fully profitable for mankind, but have led to the phenomenon of destructive social change which has changed the mindset and behavior of mankind throughout the world in personal, national and state life. This requires a solution which is a common basic principle in interacting with each other in the digital era. This research looks at the historical role of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) in responding to all social changes that have occurred in realizing peace in the world and reimplementing the spirit of the trilogy of brotherhood (ukhuwah islamiyyah, ukhuwah wathaniyyah, and ukhuwah basyariyyah/insaniyyah) initiated by KH. Ahmad Shiddiq in digital life. This research was conducted by using a literature study approach in gathering data and information, then analyzed and concluded. The results of the study show that there is NU's strong determination and commitment to maintain the world peace through its religious leaders, and the relevance of implementing the ukhuwah trilogy as a basis for thinking, acting and behaving in interactive relationships in the digital era to create world peace.

Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between the application of Islamic principles and the successful implementation of the ADKAR change management model at AOKI Putra Sang Palat Bilau. The main objective was to determine if Islamic values significantly influence the perceived success of each ADKAR element: Awareness, Desire, Knowledge, Ability, and Reinforcement. The research employed a quantitative method, using survey data from 28 respondents. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential techniques, including correlation and linear regression. The results show a very strong positive correlation (r = 0.986), indicating that Islamic principles explain 97.1% of the variance in overall ADKAR success. Among the ADKAR elements, 'Desire' had the highest attainment level. Statistically significant relationships were found between Islamic principles and all ADKAR elements, with the strongest impact on 'Ability'. The regression analysis confirmed that Islamic principles are a powerful predictor for ADKAR scores. In conclusion, the research objectives were achieved, demonstrating that integrating Islamic principles significantly enhances change management initiatives. This provides a valuable framework for organizations in similar cultural contexts to foster successful and sustainable change.

Abstract

This study examines domestic ethics and moral reflections on polygamy in the early twentieth‑century Javanese piwulang manuscript Alakirabi Wayuh Kaliyan Botên (AWKB). Previous research on Javanese household teachings has predominantly emphasized women’s duties and obedience, leaving the moral responsibilities of husbands and the ethical consequences of polygamy largely unaddressed. This study fills that gap by analyzing AWKB as a rare textual source that articulates internal criticism of polygamy within the Javanese intellectual tradition. The research uses a descriptive analytical method based on philological data sourced from the digitized AWKB manuscript written in Javanese script and language. The manuscript was transliterated, paraphrased, and translated, followed by interpretive analysis using Paul Ricoeur’s hermeneutic framework to contextualize its ethical messages. The findings show three key insights. First, AWKB presents implicit criticism of polygamy by highlighting the husband’s inability to maintain material and emotional justice among wives. Second, the text emphasizes maturity, economic preparedness, and honesty as essential foundations for marital stability. Third, AWKB reframes domestic ethics by shifting moral responsibility from women’s obedience toward the husband’s ethical accountability. These findings contribute to Javanese philological studies by revealing an understudied moral discourse that challenges normative assumptions about gender roles in traditional household teachings. The study concludes that AWKB offers a culturally grounded critique of polygamy and provides a valuable ethical perspective for contemporary discussions on marital justice and family well‑being.
