Abstract

The objective of this research ia to know the uptake of P and growth of maize (Zea mays L.) as a result of the application of several types and combinations of organic materials using a drip irrigation system. This research used a randomized block design with 6 treatments and 3 replications: B0 (No Organic Material), B1 (10 tons/ha Manure), B2 (10 tons/ha Biochar), B3 (10 tons/ha Vermicompost), B4 (4.5 tons/ha Biochar + 4.5 tons/ha Vermicompost), B5 (4.5 tons/ha Biochar + 4.5 tons/ha Manure). The research results showed that the combination of organic materials and their combinations had a significant effect on P-Available soil, P-Total soil, Plant Height, Number of Leaves and Leaf Width. The application of organic material had no significant effect on soil pH and P uptake. The best treatment in this study was B1 treatment (10 tons/ha of Manure. The best combination in this study was B5, namely B5 (4.5 tons/ha Biochar + 4.5 tons/ha Manure).

Abstract

The availability of water on Earth's surface is influenced by rainfall and climate in a particular region. Water is a basic necessity for human beings and is used for various daily life purposes. One of these purposes is irrigation in agricultural lands. The agricultural sector has traditionally relied on the availability of water from rainfall and the suitability of the climate. Climate factors include air temperature, humidity, sunlight intensity, and wind speed. This research aims to determine the impact of rainfall and climate conditions on agricultural lands. The study utilizes descriptive analysis of climate data and its influence on agricultural lands. The research findings reveal that the average monthly rainfall in Kediri district, West Lombok Regency, is approximately 222.75 mm. The average temperature is 26.7 degrees Celsius, with an average humidity of 84.5%, average sunlight intensity of 65.9%, and an average wind speed of 3.1 knots. These rainfall and climate conditions can affect water availability, soil microbe growth, plant photosynthesis processes, and plant pollination processes in agricultural lands.

Abstract

Abstract : this study aims to determine the distribution of Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC) and Acidity (pH) values ​​of soil. This research was conducted in December 2021 - January 2022. The location for taking soil samples was in Sakra District, East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. Soil analysis was carried out in January 2021 at the Soil Chemistry Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Mataram. The approach used in this study is the land unit (land unit). Soil samples in this study were taken by random sampling technique. The random sampling method is the process of taking samples using a random method. The sample points that will be used are 35 points representing vertisol soils in Sakra District. Soil sample data from the field is analyzed or tested in the laboratory. This laboratory test aims to determine the value of Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC) and Soil Acidity (pH). Utilization of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in this research is by using the Arcgis application which is used to make maps. Maps are made by processing data that has been analyzed so that it can be entered and overlaid in the application. The results of the study showed that the CEC content analysis of this soil was classified as high, with medium to very high categories. Soil CEC at the study site ranged from 19.73 me/100gr to 69.62 me/100gr. Meanwhile, the results of the analysis of soil pH levels were classified as neutral, with a slightly acidic to slightly alkaline category. The pH level at the study site ranged from 6 to 8.4. Based on the results of research that has been done, this soil has a fairly good level of fertility, but it is necessary to add organic matter as a soil conditioner in order to maintain and increase soil fertility.

Abstract

Terjadinya perubahan sirkulasi udara yang terjadi dibumi dapat memberikan dampak ekstrim la nina ataupun el nino. Fenomena el nino dan la nina ini merupakan fenomena yang berlawanan kejadian alamnya. Berdasarkan informasi BMKG wilayah Indonesia mengalami peristiwa kekeringan akibat fenomena El Nino dengan curah hujan sangat rendah dengan suhu udara yang sangat panas. Ketersediaan air dalam tanah disupplay oleh curah hujan yang turun pada suatu wilayah. Sementara itu dengan adanya fenomena el nino ini supplay air kebawah permukaan sangat kecil, sebaliknya penguapan dipermukaan tanah semakin tinggi akibat intensitas cahaya matahari yang sangat besar sehingga menekan ketersediaan air tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Tingkat kekeringan lahan masing-masing desa di Kecamatan Sekotong dan bagaimana sikap petani yang terdampak kekeringan lahan ini. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan metode survey lapangan dengan teknik analisis spasial dan deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Sekotong pada 23 mei 2024. Hasil diperoleh Tingkat kekeringan lahan tertinggi adalah Desa Sekotong Tengah dengan luas kekeringan lahan mencapai 1737,3 hektar /97% dari luas wilayah mengalami kekeringan sementara desa dengan Tingkat kekeringan lahan terendah adalah Desa Cendi Manik dengan luas kekeringan lahan mencapai 705,8 hektar/ 76% lahan mengalami kekeringan

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the Kaloling Village Government in efforts to increase the productivity of agricultural products and identify supporting factors and obstacles in its implementation. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The role of the Kaloling village government is very important in an effort to increase the productivity of agricultural products, considering that the challenges faced by farmers are complex and multidimensional. The village government can play a role as a facilitator who bridges the needs of farmers with programs from the central and regional governments. The results of the study show that the Kaloling Village Government plays an active role in encouraging increased agricultural productivity through extension programs, providing assistance for production facilities (seeds, fertilizers, agricultural tools), agricultural infrastructure development through the Village Fund, as well as support for agricultural institutions and digitalization. The implementation of these programs has had a significant impact on increasing agricultural yields, especially rice and horticultural commodities, with an increase in productivity of 12–15% in the last two years. In addition, village agricultural governance has become more adaptive and open to collaboration with external parties. However, obstacles are still found in the form of limited access to subsidized fertilizers and lack of regeneration of young farmers. Therefore, a sustainable and inclusive village policy is needed so that agricultural productivity can continue to be optimally increased.

Abstract

Innovation is crucial to technology companies' success in an ever-changing environment. Organizational culture has been identified as a factor capable of influencing a company's innovation level. This qualitative research explores this further by examining how organizational culture affects innovation in technology companies. Our literature review covers the concepts of corporate culture innovation and relevant previous research. We used a qualitative approach involving in-depth interviews with leaders and members of innovation teams at several leading technology companies. This research reveals a complex relationship between elements of organizational culture, such as norms, values, organizational structure, and innovation. This research provides a deeper understanding of the cultural factors that can motivate or hinder the innovation process in technology companies. The practical implications of this research include suggestions for companies to design an organizational culture that supports sustainable innovation. The results of this research provide important insights for technology companies seeking to increase their level of innovation in an ever-evolving world. By understanding the impact of organizational culture on innovation, companies can design more effective strategies to remain competitive in an era of ever-changing technology.
