Upaya untuk meningkatkan produksi tanaman padi pada lahan suboptimal yang mengalami cekaman genangan salah satunya melalui teknologi hidroponik rakit apung. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui respon pemberian pupuk AB mix terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman padi (Oryza sativa L.) varietas SR P08 UG dalam sistem hidroponik rakit apung. Penelitian dilaksankan di Greenhouse Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Cokroaminoto Palopo pada Bulan September-Desember 2024. Metode penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Setiap perlakuan terdapat 2 ulangan, sehingga terdapat 40 unit percobaaan. Perlakuan pada percobaan menggunakan kombinasi yaitu; P0 = Kontrol, P1 = AB mix 1200 ppm, P2 = AB mix 1400 ppm, P3 = AB mix 1600 ppm, P4 = AB mix 1800 ppm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan pupuk AB mix memiliki signifikansi terhadap paramameter tinggi tanaman dan jumlah anakan, sedangkan jumlah butir permalai, berat malai, panjang akar, dan bobot per 1000 biji tidak signifikan. Perlakuan terbaik terdapat perlakuan P4 dengan parameter tinggi tanaman (90,5 cm), jumlah anakan (34,625 batang), jumlah butir per malai (127,25 butir), berat malai (19,375 gr), berat per 1000 biji (16,5 gr), sedangkan panjang akar di tunjukkan pada perlakuan P0 (tanpa perlakauan) dengan nilai (26,75 cm). One of the efforts to increase rice production on suboptimal land experiencing accumulation stress is through floating raft hydroponic technology. The aim of the research was to determine the response of AB mix fertilizer application to the growth and production of rice plants (Oryza sativa L.) SR P08 UG variety in a floating raft hydroponic system. The research was carried out at the green house, Faculty of Agriculture Cokroaminoto University, Palopo in September-December 2024. The research method used a Randomized Group Design (RGD) consisting of 5 treatments and 4 replications. Each treatment had 2 replications, so there were 40 experimental units. The treatment in the experiment used a combination, namely; P0 = Control, P1 = AB mix 1200 ppm, P2 = AB mix 1400 ppm, P3 = AB mix 1600 ppm, P4 = AB mix 1800 ppm. The results showed that AB mix fertilizer treatment had significance on the parameters of plant height and number of tillers, while the number of perennial grains, panicle weight, root length and weight per 1000 seeds were not significant. The best treatment was treatment P4 with parameters of plant height (90.5 cm), number of tillers (34,625 stems), number of grains per panicle (127.25 grains), panicle weight (19.375 gr), weight per 1000 seeds (16.5 gr), while root length was summarized in treatment P0 (without treatment) with a value of (26.75 cm).
