Abstract

This study was aimed at exploring vocational school students’ perceptions of their digital reading during the pandemic and their utilization of various digital media. The participants were eight students from three public vocational schools in Semarang, Central Java. This study adopted a qualitative descriptive method to explore vocational students’ perceptions of digital reading in times of COVID-19 pandemic. Data were gathered through an online semi-structured interview, in which the recording was transcribed and analyzed from the lens of multimodality. The study revealed that during the pandemic, vocational school students reported their difficulties in reading vocational materials in digital files, especially in the portable document format (pdf). The major influencing factors were the rigidity of learning materials in the pdf, the lack of peer interactions after digital reading, and the teachers’ pedagogical moves that might obstruct the development of digital reading skills. In contrast, this study reported that students utilized a plethora of digital media, websites, and applications, including Tiktok, Instagram, Wattpad, and Webtoon to read a wide variety of topics that capture their interests, from social, politics, economics, and romance. This study underlines the importance of enhancing student skills in digital reading in vocational subjects by utilizing various digital media.

Abstract

Upaya untuk meningkatkan produksi tanaman padi pada lahan suboptimal yang mengalami cekaman genangan salah satunya melalui teknologi hidroponik rakit apung. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui respon pemberian pupuk AB mix terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman padi (Oryza sativa L.) varietas SR P08 UG dalam sistem hidroponik rakit apung. Penelitian dilaksankan di Greenhouse Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Cokroaminoto Palopo pada Bulan September-Desember 2024. Metode penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Setiap perlakuan terdapat 2 ulangan, sehingga terdapat 40 unit percobaaan. Perlakuan pada percobaan menggunakan kombinasi yaitu; P0 = Kontrol, P1 = AB mix 1200 ppm, P2 = AB mix 1400 ppm, P3 = AB mix 1600 ppm, P4 = AB mix 1800 ppm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan pupuk AB mix memiliki signifikansi terhadap paramameter tinggi tanaman dan jumlah anakan, sedangkan jumlah butir permalai, berat malai, panjang akar, dan bobot per 1000 biji tidak signifikan. Perlakuan terbaik terdapat perlakuan P4 dengan parameter tinggi tanaman (90,5 cm), jumlah anakan (34,625 batang), jumlah butir per malai (127,25 butir), berat malai (19,375 gr), berat per 1000 biji (16,5 gr), sedangkan panjang akar di tunjukkan pada perlakuan P0 (tanpa perlakauan) dengan nilai (26,75 cm). One of the efforts to increase rice production on suboptimal land experiencing accumulation stress is through floating raft hydroponic technology. The aim of the research was to determine the response of AB mix fertilizer application to the growth and production of rice plants (Oryza sativa L.) SR P08 UG variety in a floating raft hydroponic system. The research was carried out at the green house, Faculty of Agriculture Cokroaminoto University, Palopo in September-December 2024. The research method used a Randomized Group Design (RGD) consisting of 5 treatments and 4 replications. Each treatment had 2 replications, so there were 40 experimental units. The treatment in the experiment used a combination, namely; P0 = Control, P1 = AB mix 1200 ppm, P2 = AB mix 1400 ppm, P3 = AB mix 1600 ppm, P4 = AB mix 1800 ppm. The results showed that AB mix fertilizer treatment had significance on the parameters of plant height and number of tillers, while the number of perennial grains, panicle weight, root length and weight per 1000 seeds were not significant. The best treatment was treatment P4 with parameters of plant height (90.5 cm), number of tillers (34,625 stems), number of grains per panicle (127.25 grains), panicle weight (19.375 gr), weight per 1000 seeds (16.5 gr), while root length was summarized in treatment P0 (without treatment) with a value of (26.75 cm).

Abstract

Budidaya jamur merang di Kabupaten Karawang memiliki potensi pasar yang kuat, namun dihadapkan pada risiko produksi dan ketidakstabilan rantai pasok. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh faktor sosial ekonomi terhadap strategi mitigasi risiko yang diterapkan oleh petani jamur merang. Penelitian dilakukan di Kecamatan Cilamaya Kulon dengan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui survei deskriptif terhadap 33 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik stratified random sampling, berdasarkan kategori pengalaman berusahatani dari populasi sebanyak 62 petani. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan regresi logistik biner. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas petani berusia lanjut, berpendidikan rendah, memiliki 3–5 anggota keluarga, pengalaman bertani luas, dan pendapatan di bawah upah minimum. Karakteristik ini berkontribusi terhadap pemilihan strategi mitigasi; misalnya, petani berpengalaman lebih memilih reduksi risiko, sementara yang berpendapatan rendah cenderung melakukan retensi risiko. Variabel pendidikan, pengalaman bertani, pendapatan, dan jumlah anggota keluarga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap strategi mitigasi, sedangkan usia tidak signifikan. Temuan ini menegaskan perlunya pengembangan program pelatihan budidaya dan manajemen risiko berbasis latar belakang sosial ekonomi, penyediaan akses bibit unggul dan input berkualitas, serta kebijakan insentif seperti subsidi input dan asuransi pertanian. Selain itu, penguatan kelembagaan petani dan pemanfaatan modal sosial seperti jaringan kepercayaan dan kerja sama antarpetani penting untuk meningkatkan resiliensi kolektif menghadapi risiko dan mendukung keberlanjutan agribisnis jamur merang di wilayah tersebut.

Abstract

Chrysanthemum flowers are a horticultural commodity with significant development potential due to their high economic value. One of the chrysanthemum-producing villages is Sindanglaya Village, located in Cipanas Subdistrict, Cianjur Regency. This study aims to analyze the costs, revenues, income, and feasibility of chrysanthemum farming. The research employed a descriptive quantitative approach. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling, specifically the saturated sampling method. The sample consisted of 25 chrysanthemum farmers in Sindanglaya Village. Data were collected through interviews using a structured questionnaire. The data analysis included cost analysis, revenue analysis, income analysis, R/C ratio, B/C ratio, and break-even point (BEP) analysis for both production and price. The results showed that the total cost of chrysanthemum farming with an average land area of 0.3 hectares was IDR 28,109,563 per planting season. The average revenue was IDR 48,885,000 per season, resulting in an income of IDR 20,775,437 per season. The feasibility analysis indicated that the R/C ratio was 1.739, the B/C ratio was 0.739, the production BEP was 1,874 bunches per planting season, and the price BEP was IDR 8,162.5 per bunch. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that chrysanthemum farming in Sindanglaya Village is profitable and feasible to continue.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh PGPR terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman pakcoy (Brassica rapa L) serta jenis mikroorganisme yang terdapat pada produk PGPR menggunakan 16S rRNA. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan April sampai Juli 2024. Eksplorasi mikroorganisme dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Genetica Science Indonesia. Pembuatan produk PGPR dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Sel dan Jaringan Fsains UNCP serta pengujian produk pada tanaman pakcoy dilakukan di Lahan Percobaan II Faperta UNCP dengan beberapa parameter yang diamati yakni tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, lebar daun serta bobot basah tanaman. Berdasarkan eksplorasi mikroorganisme diperoleh 10 jenis bakteri yakni dari family Clostriceae sebanyak 3 jenis, Lactobacilloceae sebanyak 2 jenis, Lacnospiraceae sebanyak 4 jenis dan family acetobacteraceae sebanyak 1 jenis. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian sampel pada tanaman diperoleh hasil yang tidak berpengaruh nyata untuk semua parameter yakni tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun dan bobot basah tanaman. This research aimed to determine the effect of PGPR on the growth of Pakchoy (Brassica rapa L.) and the types of microorganisms found in PGPR products using 16S rRNA. The research was carried out from April to July 2024. Microorganism exploration was carried out at the Indonesian Genetica Science Laboratory. The manufacture of PGPR products was carried out at the UNCP Cell and Tissue Science Laboratory and product testing on plants at the UNCP Faperta Experimental Field II with several parameters observed, namely plant height, number of leaves, leaf width, and plant wet weight. Based on the exploration of microorganisms, 10 types of bacteria were obtained, namely 3 types from the Clostriceae family, 2 types of Lactobacilloceae, 4 types of Lacnospiraceae, and 1 type of the Acetobacteraceae family. Based on the results of testing samples on plants, results were obtained that had no significant effect on all parameters, namely plant height, number of leaves, and plant wet weight.

Abstract

Alpukat merupakan tanaman penghasil buah yang dapat diperbanyak secara aseksual melalui sambung pucuk dengan memanfaatkan entris dari pohon induk asalnya untuk memperoleh keseragaman populasi sehingga dibutuhkan entris yang bebas patogen. Seleksi pohon induk melalui identifikasi memungkinkan untuk menghasilkan sumber entris yang bebas dari patogen seperti Phytophthora sp. Patogen tersebut merupakan penyebab penyakit pada tanaman alpukat yang serangannya dapat menyebabkan kematian pada tanaman. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu memperoleh metode untuk seleksi awal pada pohon alpukat yang bebas dari patogen Phytophthora sp. Metode pada penelitian ini yaitu isolasi mikroorganisme dari pohon alpukat, seleksi isolat secara mikrokopis dan dilanjutkan denagn identifikasi tingkat molekuler menggunakan primer ITS 1 dan ITS 4. Sampel contoh yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 10% dari populasi alpukat yang ada pada satu perkebunan. Hasil pada penelitian ini yaitu telah diperoleh isolat dari lima pohon alpukat yang digunakan sebagai sampel contoh. Isolat yang diperoleh memiliki kriteria yang menyerupai dengan Phytophthora sp. Berdasarkan spora yang dimiliki dan identifikasi lebih lanjut terhadap wilayah internal transcribed spacer (ITS) dari isolat tersebut, menunjukkan bahwa isolat yang diperoleh adalah Phanerochaete sp. bukan Phytophthora sp. Identifikasi suatu patogen seperti Phytophthora sp. pada pohon alpukat perlu dilakukan hingga tingkat molekuler untuk mendapatkan bahan tanam bebas penyakit. Avocado are fruit-producing plants that can be propagated asexually through shoot grafting by utilizing entries from the original parent tree to obtain population uniformity so that pathogen-free scions are needed. Selection of parent trees through identification makes it possible to produce scions sources that are free from pathogens such as Phytophthora sp. This pathogen is the cause of disease in avocado plants, whose attack can cause death of the plant. The aim of this research is to obtain a method for initial selection of avocado trees that are free from the pathogen Phytophthora sp. The method in this research is the isolation of microorganisms from avocado trees, microscopic selection of isolates and continued with molecular level identification using ITS 1 and ITS 4 primers. The samples used in this research were 10% of the avocado population on one plantation. The results of this research were that isolates were obtained from five avocado trees which were used as sample samples. The isolate obtained had criteria similar to Phytophthora sp. based on the spores possessed and further identification of the internal transcribed spacer (ITS) region of the isolate, it showed that the isolate obtained was Phanerochaete sp. not Phytophthora sp. Identification of a pathogen such as Phytophthora sp. on avocado trees needs to be done at the molecular level to obtain disease-free planting material.

Abstract

Marriage is a contract that gives rise to the ability to associate between men and women in the demands of the human instinct in life, and makes for both parties reciprocally rights and obligations. But in certain circumstances there are things that result in the breaking of the marriage bond. The breakup of the marriage exists in several forms, one of the forms being fasakh. The breakup of the marriage with this fasakh brought the consequence of not eliminating the obligation to provide for his children. Point of issue What are the reasons al-Shafi'i argues that a wife has the right to file a fasakh suit for a husband who is unable to provide a living, What is the legal basis used by al-Shafi'i, that a wife has the right to file a fasakh suit for a husband who is unable to provide a living, What is the Istinbath al-Ahkam method used by al-Shafi'i. The purpose of the study is to find out al-Shafi'i's reasons that a wife has the right to file a marriage fasakh lawsuit for a husband who is unable to provide a living, to know the basis of hu kum used by al-Shafi'i about the marriage fasakh lawsuit for a husband who is unable to provide a living, to find out the Istinbath Al-Ahkam method used by al-Shafi'i. The research method used is the content analysis method because it intends to express al-Shafi'i's opinion contained in his books. The data sources in this study were obtained from primary data sources and secondary data sources. The primary source of data is al-Shafi'i's book "Al-um". Abstract

Berbagai permasalahan masih terus muncul dalam proses pembelajaran senibudaya di setiap satuan pendidikan salah satunya di SMP Negeri 3 PallanggaKabupaten Gowa. Permasahan yang mendasar adalah siswa tidak mampumempraktekkan teori belajar Seni budaya khususnya materi pokok musikansambel. Akhirnya penulis berusaha mencoba meningkatkan hasil belajar senibudaya materi pokok Musik ansambel melalui penerapan model pembelajaranPMPDR. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom ActionResearch) yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IX ASMP Negeri 3 Pallangga Kabupaten Gowa dalam pembelajaran Seni budayamelalui penerapan model pembelajaran Preactivity, Main activity, Post activity,,Demonstration and Reinforcement (PMPDR). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswaKelas IX A SMP Negeri 3 Pallangga Kabupaten Gowa dengan jumlah siswa 35orang yang terdiri dari 22 orang siswa perempuan dan 13 orang siswa lakilaki.Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus yaitu siklus I dilakukan 2 kalipertemuan dan siklus II juga dilakukan 2 kali pertemuan, yang dilakukan selama 2bulan. Hasilnya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa melalui model pembelajaran Preactivity, Main activity, Post activity,, Demonstration and Reinforcement(PMPDR) ini adalah (i) Hasil belajarsiswa Kelas IX A SMP Negeri 3 PallanggaKabupaten Gowapada siklus I (Tindakan I dan Tindakan II), masuk dalamkategori tinggi dengan jumlah nilai rata-rata 69,50 sedangkan pada siklus II(Tindakan I dan Tindakan II), mengalami kemajuan dengan kategori sangat tinggidengan nilai rata-rata 79,50 (ii) Terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa Kelas IXA SMP Negeri 3 Pallangga Kabupaten Gowa melalui penerapan modelpembelajaran PMPDR, baik secara kualitatif maupun kuantitatif. Modelpembelajaran ini dinilai cukup efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran khususnyapada mata pelajaran Seni budaya karena dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswakhususnya dalam mempraktekkan musik ansambel.

PT Bayou Berjaya Indonesia is a producer that processes original banana chips into various flavored banana chips in Kota Baru District, Karawang Regency. This study aims to analyze the amount of added value, the main internal and external factors, and business development strategies. The method used was survey. The data collected were primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained by interviews and questionnaires with 7 respondents. Secondary data were obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics, previous research journals, and books. The sampling method is purposive sampling. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. Data processing using the Hayami method, IFAS matrix, EFAS matrix, IE matrix, and SWOT matrix. The results of the study are the added value obtained of Rp169,333.33/kg or 69.17% greater than 40% which means the value is high. The most influential internal and external factors are product purchases through market places and quality products, limited financial resources and semi-modern production equipment, increasingly widespread cooperation in product marketing, and product damage in the distribution process. Alternative strategies suggested are increasing product promotion on social media, expanding product marketing with traditional retail and modern retail, increasing product legality such as BPOM, and adding information on packaging related to Nutrition facts and product value explanations.
