Abstract

Abstract Records management is very important in every organization, including hospital agencies. Medical records are archives produced by the hospital every day to support hospital health services. Therefore, proper management of records is needed in the management of hospital medical record archives. The purpose of this study was to find out the management of patient medical record archives at Otista Soreang Hospital regarding the importance of managing medical record archives in supporting patient health services which focus on several processes such as creation, use, maintenance, storage, and depreciation. This study uses a qualitative method. The results of the study showed that the management of patient medical record archives at Otista Soreang Hospital had been carried out as it should be, but several obstacles were found that could hinder the health services provided, including the following: (a) the transfer was carried out, requiring medical record staff to work extra to reassemble archives from old place to new place. (b) the archive depreciation process had to be delayed and the archives piled up in the archive storage room (c) in the medical record archive storage at Otista Soreang Hospital, the provision of archival shelves was inadequate, so some medical record archives were stored in boxes and baskets, (d) Missfill occurred impede the health services of Otista Soreang Hospital. Keywords: Records Management; Health services; Medical records. Abstrak Pengelolaan arsip merupakan suatu yang sangat penting dalam setiap organisasi tidak terkecuali pada instansi rumah sakit. Rekam medis merupakan arsip yang dihasilkan rumah sakit setiap harinya dalam mendukung pelayanan kesehatan rumah sakit. Oleh karena itu pengelolaan arsip yang sesuai sangat dibutuhkan dalam pengelolaan arsip rekam medis rumah sakit. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengelolaan arsip rekam medis pasien di RSUD Otista Soreang mengenai pentingnya pengelolaan arsip rekam medis dalam mendukung pelayanan kesehatan pasien yang berfokus pada beberapa proses seperti penciptaan, penggunaan, pemeliharaan, penyimpanan, dan penyusutan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengelolaan arsip rekam medis pasien RSUD Otista Soreang telah dilakukan sebagai semestinya, namun ditemukan beberapa kendala yang dapat menghambat pelayanan kesehatan yang diberikan diantaranya sebagai berikut: (a) pemindahan yang dilakukan, mengharuskan staff rekam medis bekerja ekstra untuk menyusun kembali arsip dari tempat lama ketempat yang baru. (b) proses penyusutan arsip terpaksa tertunda dilakukan dan arsip menjadi menumpuk diruangan penyimpanan arsip (c) dalam penyimpanan arsip rekam medis RSUD Otista Soreang penyediaan rak arsipnya kurang memadai, sehingga beberapa arsip rekam medis disimpan dalam kardus dan keranjang, (d) Missfill yang terjadi menghambat pelayanan kesehatan RSUD Otista Soreang. Kata Kunci: Pengelolaan Arsip; Pelayanan Kesehatan; Rekam Medis.

Abstract

Archives have an important role in supporting the smooth running of the main tasks and functions of an institution, including sub-district level government agencies such as Cileunyi District. Along with technological developments, the archives being managed are now not only in printed form but also available in electronic form. the existence of electronic archives certainly requires a management that is different from the management of printed archives. Through the use of technology, archive management at the Cileunyi District Office in the process becomes more effective and efficient. The purpose of this study was to determine the management of electronic dynamic archives at the Cileunyi District Office in facilitating archive retrieval activities that focus on several processes such as creation and storage, distribution and use, maintenance and disposition. This study uses a qualitative method. The results showed that electronic-based dynamic archive management at the Cileunyi District Office had been carried out by adjusting to existing capabilities and resources, but various deficiencies were found which became obstacles that could hinder the electronic archive management process including: (a) lack of human resources as archive manager, (b) there is no filing department, (c) there is no scanner machine and electronic record management system, and (d) no depreciation activities are carried out which have an impact on increasingly limited storage space.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan secara mendalam mengenai penyusutan arsip yang dilakukan di Record Center Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Politik Universitas Padjadjaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Objek penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah seorang informan yang menjabat sebagai staf arsiparis di Record Center Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Politik Universitas Padjadjaran dengan menggunakan purposive sampling untuk memilih informan. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan melalui tiga cara, yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Sementara itu, analisis data yang diterapkan pada penelitian di antaranya adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan, dan verifikasi. Untuk menguji keabsahan data, peneliti menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber dengan cara membandingkan hasil pengamatan dengan hasil wawancara dan menguji kebenaran keduanya dengan dokumen yang mendukung. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapatkan bahwa kegiatan penyusutan arsip di Record Center Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Padjadjaran dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu tahap pemindahan, tahap penyerahan, dan tahap pemusnahan dengan berpedoman pada Peraturan Rektor Universitas Padjadjaran.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine the types of user services available at the Habiburrahman Grand Mosque Library Indonesian Aerospace (2) to find out the service system adopted by the Habiburrahman Grand Mosque Library Indonesian Aerospace (3) to find out the procedures for registering new members and the rules imposed in the Library of the Great Mosque of Habiburrahman Indonesian Aerospace. This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative research methods with data collection techniques such as literature studies, interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this study show that the Habiburrahman Grand Mosque Library Indonesian Aerospace has 8 types of user services, including user education services and information literacy training, reading rooms, circulation of library materials, references, photocopies, literature searches, online catalogs, and audiovisual (AV) collections. The library service system is mixed or mixed access. For visitors who want to get these various services, especially circulation services, then they need to register themselves first as members. The member registration procedure begins with preparing certain requirements, then filling out the form as well as paying the member's dues fee. Meanwhile, there are also 8 unwritten regulations stipulated as rules in the Library of the Great Mosque of Habiburrahman Indonesian Aerospace. An interesting finding lies in the architectural design that presents the typical nuances of the Indonesian ancient mosque.

Abstract

Teknologi informasi yang cepat membuah sebuah revolusi besar terhadap semua bidang termasuk perpustakaan. Perpustakaan di era ini bertransformasi ke perpustakaan digital. Dengan adanya teknologi informasi perpustakaan digital membuat sebuah aplikasi untuk memudahkan penggunanya. Dinas Arsip dan perpustakaan Kabupaten Cianjur berinovasi membuat aplikasi perpustakaan digital bernama GECOO (Gerakan Maca Online Offline). Hal tersebut tentu akan membuat sebuah persepsi pada penggunanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi pengguna terhadap aplikasi GECOO (Gerakan Maca Online Offline) di Dinas Arsip dan Perpustakaan Kabupaten Cianjur berdasasarkan teori information system success model. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Populasi dalam penellitian ini pengguna aktif aplikasi GECOO (Gerakan Maca Online Offline) dengan teknik pengambilan sampel insidental. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan penyebaran kuesioner. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis statistika deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hampir semua indikator yang berada pada enam subvariabel berkategori tinggi. Akan tetapi, untuk indikator frekuensi pengguna memperoleh nilai indikator rendah yaitu 3,3 dan berkategori rendah.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the model of information search process are carried out by depression sufferers at Cahaya Bunda Cirebon Mother Children Hospital to obtain information, especially regarding mental health by using the information seeking behavior model by Kuhlthau known as ISP (Information Search Process). The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The results of the study show that the construction that depression sufferers go through from the stage of uncertainty to understanding and in this search for information there are 6 (six) stages, namely (1) The initial stage, aware of the need for information so that the search for information is motivated by motivation in searching for information; (2) Topic Selection Stage; (3) Information Search Stage; (4) Crosscheck and validation stages to expert individuals including psychologists/psychiatrists; (5) Collection Stage, collecting information that has been sorted; and (6) Final Stage, characterized by storing information for oneself and the emergence of feelings of satisfaction and relief. The conclusion from the results of this study is that it is known that the depressed sufferers studied have a model of information search process according to the characteristics of the depressed sufferers and is sufficient to help them to obtain and use mental health information.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate how Javanese individuals in Bandung perceive and apply the Sundanese culture, otherwise known as Kasundaan. We utilized a qualitative research approach, employing phenomenology, and interviewed seven Javanese informants with Kasundaan experience in their daily lives. Our data collection methods included interviews, observations, documentation, and literature studies. This study revealed that there was an extrinsic and Intrinsic Motivating Aspects as well as aspects of hope that motivated Javanese individuals in applying Kasundaan. Family environment, social environment, and the natural environment played a very big role in the formation of the meaning of Kasundaan on the Javanese and Chinese individual subjects of  this research through their cultural literary experience in their lives.  Being a Sundanese, for the research subjects was interpreted philosophically as a perspective and “nyunda” mindset and manifested in the form of a real contribution to the Sunda. This interpretation gives rise to self meaning of the Javanese individual in being a Sundanese, namely the self that explores Sundanese cultural knowledge and the self as a preserver of Sundanese culture.

Abstract

(Objectives) Swing voters are rational individuals who may be indecisive in making choices. Consequently, they seek information that addresses their personal goals or preferences when selecting among available alternatives. Specifically, swing voters among students tend to be objective and rational in their decision-making. This study aims to understand the relationship between information-seeking behavior and the decision-making process of swing voters in the 2024 Presidential Election. (Method) Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire that measured information-seeking behavior variables based on the Ellis model, encompassing the stages of starting, chaining, browsing, differentiating, monitoring, extracting, verifying, and ending. The population consisted of first-time voters from the 2023 Fikom Unpad class, with a sample of 89 students determined using non-probability sampling techniques and the Slovin formula. This study employs a quantitative approach with Spearman rank correlation analysis techniques.  (Findings) The results indicate that information-seeking behaviour is related to the decision-making process in a high category, with a positive direction of the relationship. In other words, the better the information-seeking behaviour of voters, the better the decision-making process is reflected. This suggests that how swing voters acquire and use information as part of their information-seeking behaviour plays a crucial role in determining the quality of their choices. This research is expected to serve as a reference for similar studies in the future and specifically to help swing voters find choices that align with their personal preferences.

Abstract

Kewajiban utama perpustakaan adalah menyebarkan pengetahuan. Melihat dampak besar yang ditimbulkan COVID-19 pada kesehatan maupun sosial, maka sudah selayaknya perpustakaan secara rutin memberikan pengetahuan tentang pencegahan, aktivitas yang tepat saat lockdown, cara menghindari stress, atau pengumuman penting lainnya tentang perkembangan virus Corona. Website dapat menjadi jembatan penghubung antara perpustakaan dengan kebutuhan pengetahuan masyarakat. Website merupakan representasi dari sebuah perpustakaan yang bersifat maya sebagai penyimpan sekaligus penyebar pengetahuan tentang COVID-19 yang dibutuhkan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pemetaan pengetahuan eksplisit tentang COVID-19 pada website perpustakaan melalui analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 4 perpustakaan yang membagikan pengetahuan tentang COVID-19 melalui website yaitu Dinas Perpustakaan dan Arsip Provinsi Banten, Perpustakaan Nasional Republik Indonesia, Perpusatakaan Badan Standardisasi Nasional dan Perpustakaan Universitas Islam Sultan Agung. Website tersebut mengunggah tema literasi, tips dan trik hidup sehat selama wabah, menikmati waktu, kesehatan psikis, efek COVID-19, tips bepergian, tips bekerja di kantor, informasi kesehatan, serta karakter, penularan dan pencegahan COVID-19. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah website dari 4 perpustakaan yang menjadi sampel pada penelitian ini mengunggah pengetahuan tentang COVID-19 dengan berbagai tema seperti literasi corona, kiat hidup sehat fisik dan psikis selama masa pandemi, tips beraktivitas di dalam dan luar rumah yang aman, hingga informasi tentang penularan dan pencegahan virus Corona.

Abstract

This study examines the vital role of archivists in records management at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Padjadjaran (FEB Unpad). The primary focus is evaluating archivists' contributions throughout the records lifecycle and analyzing the competencies required to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of records management. The research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection involves in-depth interviews, observation, documentation, and literature review. Two informants were selected based on a minimum of 5 years of experience in archival work. Data analysis utilizes thematic analysis techniques. Findings indicate archivists' crucial role in all stages of the records lifecycle, including creation, distribution, use, maintenance, and disposal. Required competencies encompass technical, professional, personal, and social aspects. The study identifies challenges in archival activities at FEB Unpad, including human resource limitations and technical issues with the digital archiving system "Sikendi". In conclusion, enhancing archivists' competencies and developing infrastructure are necessary to optimize records management at FEB Unpad. This research underscores the importance of skilled archivists in maintaining effective records management systems within academic institutions, highlighting the need for continuous professional development and technological advancement in the field.
