Abstract

Community health centers have the primary duty as a basic level of health care centers. In performing its duties require professional health workers. Bachelor of public health is one of the health workers who have the ability to move people to live healthy. Strategies to improve health care in community health centers, such as health mapping capabilities, cooperation with other parties, implementing continuous surveillance and conduct health education efforts.

Abstract

MDGs 2015 are the program for the welfare of society. The countries that show the great achievement of MDGs goals remain the successful of the government of the countries. This paper aimed to provide the knowledge regarding the achievement of Indonesia in MDGs goals. The achievement could be seen from the distribution of poverty, Health development index, Nutritional status, maternal mortality, and Malaria status in Indonesia.

Abstract

Health services should be performed in all parts of Indonesia. Nationally, the people of Indonesia are scattered in several places, which are rural, urban, mountain, coastal, and others. Indonesia is the world's fourth most populous country, which might be a problem for national development because so many people are not accompanied by equitable growth. One of the problems is health care problem in coastal areas. This paper overview the diseases in coastal communities in Indonesia

Abstract

Background: Muna is the area where Bajo community prefer to choose shaman for giving birth Objectives: This study aims to determine the reasons why mothers choose shamans or midwives to give birth in Renda Village, Towea Subdistrict, Muna District.Methods: This was a descriptive qualitative study to investigate determinants of mother's choice of place delivery in Renda Towea village of Muna, Indonesia. In-depth interview was performed to three mothers who gave birth with Shaman, and two mothers with Midwives. This study was conducted on July, 2016 in the village of Renda Towea, Muna district. Data were analyzed by content analysis model using Colaizzi's method of data analysis.Results: Results were grouped into: Reasons to choose midwives to give birth (Health concern, Family support, and Complete facilities), and Reasons to select shaman to give birth (Tradition, Financial concern, Short distance, Lack of information)Conclusions: Various reasons of mothers in choosing maternal care services. The findings of this study suggest that the government and health care providers should create the collaboration between midwives and shaman, increase financial support, and increase and evaluate health visitations to this community.

Abstract

Aim: This survey study aims to assess and describe environmental risk factors in Wawatu Village, Moramo sub district, North of South Konawe, Southeast Sulawesi.Methods: There 43 respondents selected using convenience sampling. Data were collected using self-questionnaire and observation sheet, consisting of physical condition dimension, chemical and biological factors. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Results: Findings show that 77% of respondents had a good water condition, however, 77% of them had no latrines, 93% had no severage channel, and 63% no landfills. Some of respondents (28%) disposed of ship waste (28%) and household waste (28%) in the sea. Sadly, 81% of respondents did not defecate in the toilet.Conclusions: This study provides the evidence that the health environment in Wawatu Village, Moramo sub district, North of South Konawe, Southeast Sulawesi, needs to more attention. Government and Public health workers need to do great efforts in controlling the risk factors,  build the health structure, and implement health promotion program in this area.

Abstract

Background: COVID-19 is a pandemic that spreads very fast. Until now, COVID-19 has spread in 207 countries.Objective: This study aimed to analyze the correlation between weather factors and COVID-19 in West Java, Indonesia. This study used a secondary data analysis of weather data from the Meteorological Department of the Republic of Indonesia and surveillance of COVID-19 from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. The weather has five components, including minimum temperature (0C), maximum temperature (0C), temperature average (0C), humidity (%), amount of rainfall (mm), and wind speed (m/s). Data were analyzed using Spearman's rank correlation test.Result: Of the weather components, only temperature average (r = 0.545; p <0.001) and humidity (r = -0.500; p <0.001) significantly correlated with COVID-19.Conclusion: The results can be used to decrease the pandemic of COVID-19 in Indonesia.

Abstract

Background: Integrated health service, called Posyandu, is one of the efforts by the Indonesian Government to improve the health quality of older people. However, its utilization is not optimal. Thus, factors related to it warrant investigation. Objective: This study aimed to identify factors related to the utilization of integrated health services for older people. Methods: This study employed a cross-sectional design among 173 older people aged ≥ 60 registered as members of integrated health services in two areas in Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia. Convenience sampling was applied, and data were collected from January to March 2022. Result: There was a significant relationship between the older people’s perception (AOR = 2.40; CI = 1.14-5.03; p = 0.018), family support (AOR = 2.73; CI = 1.23-6.02; p = 0.028), and cadres’ role (AOR = 3.62; CI = 1.59-8.21; p = 0.011) with the use of integrated health services. Otherwise, treatment-seeking showed no relation with the utilization of integrated health services (AOR = 1.68; CI = 0.74-3.82; p = 0.094). Conclusion: The significant factors revealed in this study can be used to improve the utilization of integrated health services for older people in the community. Education to change the perception of older people is needed, and family support and cadres’ roles should be advanced to improve healthcare visits in order to increase health quality.

Abstract

Hipertensi adalah peningkatan tekanan darah sistolik lebih dari 140 mmHg dan atau tekanan darah diastolik lebih dari 90 mmHg pada dua kali pengukuran dengan selang waktu lima menit dalam keadaan cukup istirahat atau tenang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian hipertensi pada wanita usia subur di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Perumnas Kadia Kota Kendari tahun 2022. Penelitian yang digunakan yaitu observasional analitik dengan desain cross sectional dimana rancangan penelitian dalam pengukuran dan pengamatannya dilakukan secara simultan pada satu saat (sekali waktu). Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu seluruh wanita usia subur yang berkunjung ke Puskesmas Perumnas Kadia pada Bulan Januari-Desember tahun 2022. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 381 orang. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan Accidental Sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak adanya hubungan antara pengetahuan (p-value = 0,972) dengan kejadian hipertensi dan adanya hubungan antara tingkat stress (p-value = 0,001) dengan kejadian hipertensi. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, diharapkan agar masyarakat lebih memperhatikan perilaku kesehatan guna mencegah terjadinya penyakit hipertensi. Kata Kunci : Hipertensi, Pengetahuan, Tingkat Stress

Abstract

PT PLN UP3 Kendari merupakan unit di bawah PLN Unit Induk wilayah Sulselbar yang berfungsi memberi pelayanan listrik kepada masyarakat dalam bekerja, Pekerja dituntut untuk menyadari pentingnya kepuasan, disiplin, motivasi dan lama kerja guna meningkatkan produktivitas, terkait dengan produktivitas kerja yang dirasakan karyawan mengatakan bahwa 6 pekerjaan yang menimbulkan tantangan sangat berpengaruh terhadap kinerja. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis hubungan antara kepuasan kerja, disiplin kerja, motivasi kerja serta lama kerja dengan produktivitas kerja pada pekerjaan bagian pekerjaan dalam keadaan bertegangan (PDKB) di PT. PLN UP3 Kendari. Pada penelitian ini jenis metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif observasional dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi potong lintang (Cross Sectional Study), sampel dalam penelitian Ini berjumlah 34 dengan teknik total sampling dimana seluruh populasi dijadikan sebagai sampel penelitian serta uji statistik yang digunakan yaitu uji chi-square. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa analisis uji hubungan antara masing-masing variabel independen dengan produktivitas kerja menunjukkan kepuasan kerja memiliki nilai p 0,340; motivasi kerja 0,000; disiplin kerja 0,000; lama kerja 0,046. Maka kesimpulan penelitian adalah ada hubungan antara motivasi dan disiplin kerja dengan produktivitas kerja pekerja di bagian Pekerjaan dengan Keadaan Bertegangan (PDKB) di PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Kendari. Tidak ada hubungan kepuasan kerja dan lama kerja dengan produktivitas kerja pekerja di bagian Pekerjaan dengan Keadaan Bertegangan (PDKB) di PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Kendari. Kata kunci: disiplin, kepuasan, lama kerja, motivasi, produktivitas

Abstract

Kinerja pegawai ditentukan oleh kualitas dan kuantitas pekerjaan yang diselesaikan pegawai sesuai dengan kewajiban yang diberikan. Untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi, kinerja pegawai sangat tergantung pada motivasi dan kedisiplinan pegawai dalam melaksanakan pekerjaan dan tugas, serta lingkungan kerja yang kondusif yang dapat memfasilitasi dan membantu pegawai agar pekerjaannya lebih optimal. Beban kerja juga dapat memengaruhi kinerja karena dengan mudah pegawai akan merasa tidak nyaman dan stress. Di sisi lain, ketiadaan tanggung jawab dapat membuat kerugian organisasi. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan motivasi, beban, disiplin, lingkungan kerja dengan kinerja pegawai ASN Badan Keuangan dan Aset Daerah Kabupaten Kolaka Tahun 2022. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 42 orang yang dilakukan pengumpulan sampel dengan teknik total sampling dilanjutkan dengan uji chi square sebagai teknik analisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 31 responden (73.8%) yang kinerja pegawainya baik dan terdapat 11 responden (26.2%) yang kinerja pegawainya kurang, nilai p-value untuk variabel motivasi kerja 0,000, beban kerja 0,713, disiplin kerja 0,008 dan lingkungan kerja 0,011. Kesimpulan, ada hubungan antara motivasi, disiplin dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai ASN Badan Keuangan dan Aset Daerah Kabupaten Kolaka serta tidak ada hubungan antara beban kerja dan kinerja pegawai ASN Badan Keuangan dan Aset Daerah Kabupaten Kolaka.
