Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) pada siswa kelas V SD Kartika 1-2 Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2020/2021 dan  Mendeskripsikan kendala-kendala yang dihadapi dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika materi Kubus dan Balok kelas V SD Kartika 1-2 Medan. Hal ii terbukti dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada pretes siswa yang mendapat nilai tuntas sebanyak 5 orang atau 21,73 % sedangkan siswa yang tidak tuntas sebanyak 18 orang atgau 78,27 %. Maka dilanjutkan penelitian pendidikan pada siklus I siswa yang mendapat nilai tuntas sebanyak 14 orang atau 60,86 % sedangkan siswa yang tidak tuntas sebanyak 9 orang atau 39,14 %, pada hal ini terjadi peningkatan pada siklus I disbanding pretes. Namun walaupun demikian hal itu belum memenuhi kategori ketuntasan yang telah ditentukan. Maka dilanjutkan penelitian pada siklus II yaitu siswa mendapat nilai tuntas sebanyak 20 orang atau 86,95% sedangkan siswa yang tidak tuntas sebanyak 3 orang atau 13,05%, maka terjadi peningkatan terhadap siklus II dibandingkan siklus I dan telah memenuhi ketuntasan yang telah ditentukan. Selanjutnya kegiatan guru pada observasi siklus I memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 60% dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 78%. Sedangkan aktivitas siswa pada proses pembelajaran memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 58% dan pada siklus II telah meningkat menjadi 84%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri pada tema Benda-benda di sekitar kita di kelas V SD 038097 Lae Pangaroan tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), subjek penelitian ini adalah  siswa kelas V SDN 038097 Lae Pangaroan yang berjumlah 22 siswa. Dengan menerapkan Model pembelajaran inkuiri pada tema Benda-benda di sekitar kita sub tema zat tunggal dan campuran di kelas V, dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan sudah memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) yang telah ditetapkan oleh sekolah yaitu 75. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari persentase ketuntasan belajar individu , klasikal, dan nilai rata-rata siswa yaitu; pada pretes siswa secara individual yaitu 4 orang yang tuntas, secara klasikal yaitu 18,18% dengan nilai rata-rata 10.5. Pada siklus I secara individual yaitu 9 orang yang tutas, secara klasikal 40% yang tuntas dengan rata-rata 61,03%. Pada siklus II secara individual yaitu 20 orang yang tuntas, secara klasikal 90,90% dengan rata-rata 83,86. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan Penerapan Model pembelajaran inkuiri pada Benda-benda di sekitar kita sub tema zat tunggal dan campuran di kelas V SD Negeri 038097 Lae Pangaroan Tahun Pembelajaran 2021/2022 dikategorikan sudah baik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil observasi aktivitas guru pada siklus I sebesar 66% dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 84%. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan Menerapan Model pembelajaran inkuiir pada Tema Benda-benda di sekitar kita sub tema zat tunggal dan campuran di kelas V SD Negeri 038097 Lae Pangaroan Tahun Pembelajaran 2021/2022 dikategorikan sudah baik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil aktivitas observasi siswa pada siklus I sebesar 60% dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 80%. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa, model pembelajaran inkuiri dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada tema Benda-benda di sekitar kita tahun pembelajaran 2021/2022.

Abstract

Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran Brainstormingpada tema Lingkungan Sahabat Kita di kelas V SD Tunas Harapan Kabupaten Deli Serdang Tahun Pembelajaran 2021/2022. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan 2 siklus. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SD Tunas Harapan Kabupaten Deli Serdang yang berjumlah 28 siswa. Dari hasil penilaian tindakan kelas ini menunjukan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Pada prates siswa memperoleh nilai tuntas sebanyak 6 siswa (21,42%). Pada tahap post test siklus I meningkat menjadi 14 siswa yang tuntas (50%). Pada tahap post test siklus II terdapat peningkatan menjadi 23 siswa yang tuntas (82,14%). Kemudian pada hasil observasi aktivitas guru dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran pada siklus I memproleh nilai sebanyak (64%) dengan kategori (Baik), siklus II meningkat sebanyak (82%) dengan kriteria (Baik Sekali). Dan pada hasil observasi aktivitas siswa pada siklus I memperoleh nilai sebanyak (60%) dengan kategori (Cukup), siklus II meningkat sebanyak (89%) dengan kategori (Baik). Dari hasil yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran Brainstormingdapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada tema Lingkungan Sahabat Kita di kelas V SD Tunas Harapan Kabupaten Deli Serdang Tahun Pembelajaran 2021/2022.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the experiential learning model on the writing skills of observation report texts among eighth-grade students at SMP Swasta Santo Petrus Medan in the 2024/2025 academic year. This research used a quantitative approach with an experimental method and a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample consisted of 65 students, with class VIII-3 as the experimental group and class VIII-4 as the control group. The instruments used included writing tests (pretest and posttest) and student response questionnaires regarding the learning model. The results indicated a significant improvement in students' writing skills who were taught using the experiential learning model compared to those taught with conventional methods. Furthermore, the questionnaire results showed that students responded positively to the experiential learning model, as it was perceived to enhance understanding, creativity, and active engagement in the learning process. Thus, the experiential learning model proved to be effective in improving students' skills in writing observation report texts.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Quantum Teaching learning model on student learning outcomes in the subject of Science in grade V of Elementary School 106836 Limau Manis. This type of research is quantitative research using experimental methods. The type of sample used is purposive sampling. The research sample used was 34 students of class VB. To determine the initial abilities of students, researchers conducted a Pre-Test with an average value of 53.67 which is included in the less category. The results of the Post-Test have an increase from the results of the Pre-Test with an average value of 84.52 with a very good category. Based on the results of the study, it shows that there is an influence of the Quantum Teaching learning model on the learning outcomes of class VB students of Elementary School 106836 Limau Manis. The results of this study indicate that the results of the correlation test can be seen in the correlation coefficient value of 0.623, meaning that r hitung (0.623) > r tabel (0.396) means Ha is accepted. Sothere is a strong influence between the Quantum Teaching learning model on student learning outcomes. It can also be seen from the results of the t-test where t hitung > t tabel, namely 4.510 > 1.690, thus stating that Ha is accepted. This shows a significant positive influence of the use of the Quantum Teaching learning model on learning outcomes in the subject of science for grade V at SD Negeri 106836 Limau Manis in the 2024/2025 academic year.

Abstract

This article discusses the students’ mathematics learning outcomes by using the Realistic Mathematics Education learning model for the fifth-grade students of SD Kartika 1-2 Medan and describes the obstacles faced by using the Realistic Mathematics Education learning model to improve students’ mathematics learning outcomes. The results indicated that there was an improvement of the fifth-grade students’ learning outcomes on Mathematics learning subjects at SD Kartika 1-2 Medan. It was proven from the research outcomes conducted on the pretest, students who achieved a maximum score were 5 students or 21.73%, while students who did not complete were 18 students or 78.27%. After the research was continued in the first cycle, students who achieved a complete score were 14 students or 60.86%, while students who did not complete were 9 students or 39.14%. Related to this, there was an improvement in the first cycle compared to the pre-test. Nevertheless, it did not qualify predetermined completeness category. Hence, it was continued to the second cycle, students who achieved a complete score were 20 students or 86.95%, while students who did not complete were 3 students or 13.05%. Thus, there was an improvement in cycle II compared to cycle I and had qualified the predetermined completeness. In addition, the teachers’ activities in the first cycle of observation achieved an average of 60%, and in the second cycle, it increased to 78%. Meanwhile, students’ activities in the learning process achieved 58%, and in the second cycle, it increased to 84%.

Abstract

The ability to comprehend mathematics can be trained and improved in each student. Students Worksheet (LKPD) refers to a learning aid in the learning process. CAT (Computer Assisted Test) is one of the learning media designed to develop interactive LKPD. This research employed the Research and Development method. Based on the evaluation conducted by material experts in the field of mathematics education, the results for content feasibility, presentation, language, and graphics reached 88.02%, which was categorized as very good. Furthermore, the evaluation results from media experts showed that the percentage for media feasibility, content feasibility, presentation, and graphics was 90.73% (very good). In addition, media experts also stated that the percentage of media feasibility, content feasibility, and presentation aspects reached 95.00% (very good). Moreover, the results of the individual test on students’ responses indicated that the aspects of content, objectives, feasibility, technical quality, and attractiveness achieved 92.00% (very good). The field test results on students’ responses showed that the percentage for content, objectives, technical quality, and attractiveness aspects was 94.77% (very good). Finally, the data analysis of individual student response tests confirmed that the aspects of content, objectives, feasibility, quality, and attractiveness reached 92.00%, which was categorized as very good.

Abstract

The results of the study indicated an increase on students’ learning outcomes. The average score at the pretest was 65,76 and the level of the classical completeness was 23%. After implementing Open Ended Problem model in cycle I, the average score of the students’ learning outcomes increased to 69,89 with the level of classical completeness of 33%. Moreover, after the implementation and the posttest conducted in cycle II, it was revealed that 24 students completed their learning outcomes and 6 students did not complete thei learning outcome, and the average score of the posttest in cycle II increased to 80,86 with the classical completeness of 80%. This study concluded that Open Ended Problem model improved students’ learning outcomes at grade IV SD RK Bintang Timur Rantauprapat in the Academic Year 2019/2020. Based on the results of the study, the teacher was suggested to implement Open Ended Problem model since it was proven to improve the students’ learning outcomes.

Abstract

The type of this research was action research (classroom research). The subjects in this study were 30 students at grade III SD Negeri 030441 Pamah, consisting of 15 boys and 15 girls. The object of this research is Mind Mapping learning model as an effort to improve students’ learning outcomes. The results of this study indicated an increase in the students’ learning outcomes through Mind Mapping model on the theme of “Menyayangi Tumbuhan dan Hewan” at grade III SD Negeri 030441 Pamah. It was found that in the pre-test, 8 students (27%) completed the learning objectives while 22 students (73%) did not complete the learning objective with the average score of 59.93. Meanwhile, the average score in the posttest of cycle I increased to 66.4 in which 13 students (43%) completed the learning objective while 17 students (57%) did not complete the learning objective. Moreover, the result of the post test in cycle II found that 25 students (83%) completed the learning objective while 5 students (17%) did not complete the learning objective with an average score of 80.06. Furthermore, the results of observations to teachers’ activities in Cycle I obtained a value of 78% (good), and in Cycle II it increased to 92% (very good). Similarly, the results of observations to students’ activities also increased from 78% (good) in Cycle I to 90% (very good) in Cycle II.

Abstract

Curriculum research design is a methodological framework used to scientifically study, develop, implement, and evaluate curricula. In the development of educational science, curriculum research design serves as a means to generate new knowledge, whether in the form of theories, models, or curriculum practices that are relevant to the needs of students and educational contexts. Through appropriate research design, curriculum developers and educational researchers can deeply understand the relationship between objectives. This research uses a qualitative approach with a developmental orientation (developmental research), combined with Research and Development (R&D) and Design-Based Research (DBR) approaches.
