Abstract

ABSTRAK Wiper is one component of the trunk used to clean the dirt in the mirror from rain or other dirt. Because technology development will emerge between companies. One of the wiper components produced by PT Valeo AC Indonesia-Batam is rubber with various types and sizes. The quality of rubber swept on the car glass affect the cleanliness of the car glass from dirt or rainwater. In the production process there is still a demaged product, it is necessary to analyze the demage product data and evaluate the data processing result using the Statistical Process Control (SPC) method. The purpose of this study is to analyze the defects occurring in rubber product. This study uses p-control chart to analize the number of defective product from the processing data indicating that there is data out of control limits. To analyze the cause of the defect, fishbone diagrams are applied to defects occuring in rubber product.On the control chart there is one defective data that is out control limit of 53 data with an avarage p value of 0.33361. Factors affecting defects in rubber based on analysis are human, machines, materials, environments and method, this study is expected to be useful for companies to improve the quality of rubber and customer satisfaction.

Abstract

The technology competition in the industry today is very tight. Companies that maintain product quality and improve product quality according to customer requirements. Therefore, in the production process the Reflector and Inner Lens experience several obstacles that often occur in the production process, namely defects in the bubble, silver, and white dot. This study aims to identify the disabilities that often occur if well controlled, to determine the causes of these disabilities. Fishbone diagrams are used to identify factors that cause defects. There are 4 factors that cause defects based on the fishbone diagram, namely human, machine, environmental and material factors. The results showed that there was no data out of control. The dominant defect types in the D21N Inner Lens product are bubbles (53.5%) and the 760 Reflector A product is silver (69.7%).

Abstract

Improving product quality is mandatory in every company to maintain customer satisfaction. This research aims to analyze the types of defects that occur in the product and to suggest quality improvement actions. In this study, the 3 biggest types of defects (Black Crest, Chatter and Chip) were analyzed. This study uses tools from FMEA, Fishbone Diagram, Histogram and Pareto. The results of the research on the Black Crest defect on the risk of excessive ovalitty pipe dimensions from RPN 135 to RPN 27, on the risk of Squareness at the pipe ends from RPN 135 to RPN 81, on the risk of swaging results on imperfect pipes from RPN 243 to RPN 81. On defects Chatter for the risk of inserting a blunt roll from RPN 243 to RPN, at the risk of corrugated pipe from RPN 243 to RPN 81, at the risk of material being difficult to roll from RPN 405 to RPN 45. On chip defects for the risk of machining program from RPN 243 to RPN 81, the risk of glass on a machine that is less clear than RPN 243 becomes RPN 81, for the risk of the operator not to withdraw the Chip from RPN 243 to become RPN 45. Based on the research it is concluded that from the results of phase 1 FMEA analysis after quality improvement with Fishbone Diagram and re-analyzed with FMEA stage 2 succeeded in reducing the RPN value.

Abstract

The development of the world oil and gas industry (Oil & Gas) in the world has been going on for a long time. The purpose of this study is to identify the quality control of protector products to meet the standards set by the company. The results of this study are the product requirements that consumers need based on the QFD method are the dimensions of the protector according to the size of the pipe, the protector can be perfectly installed on the pipe, thread. The protector can grip the thread of the pipe tightly, the thread resistance of the protector is economical, the protector can be installed easily, the protector design has room for sealing, the protector design is resistant to impacts and cracks. Then do a relationship matrix table, followed by making palaning matrix, then calculating priority identification such as goals, sales points, improvement ratio, row weight normalize row weight. Then determine technical priority such as absolute importance with a total of 688 and an average of 98.29. then the relative importance is 100% and the average is 14.29%. then proceed with the House Of Quality (HOQ) matrix.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the priority criteria in a Batam souvenir center, as a consideration in building a business in the tourism sector, especially in determining the location to be a center for selling souvenirs of Batam. The method used is QFD (Quality Function Deployment) by analyzing VoC data that has been obtained. The sample selection used a simple random sampling technique by Slovin formula. The results obtained that criteria for souvenir center have the highest priority are having a beautiful and attractive appearance and the availability of COVID-19 sterilization disinfectant room at the entrance of the center with a value of 4.52. The criteria for lowest priority are regional special performances with an importance value of 3.86, the technical response with the highest priority is located on the edge of the main road, with a Technical Importance Rating value of 239.2, an Absolute Importance value of 173.9, and the Relative Importance value is 10.18%. The lowest priority falls on the criteria for providing a special chamber or room for disinfectants and temperature checking equipment, with a Technical Importance Rating value of 55.9, an Absolute Importance value of 40.7, and its Relative Importance value is 2.38%.

Abstract

A common tool or method for developing directly customer-driven products is Quality Function Deployment (QFD). From a customer's point of view, product quality is an important thing to have and it exists in products, especially clothing, because it has a long shelf life. For this, the main objective of this research is to understand what attributes of polo products customers want through Voice of Customer (VOC) questionnaire, so that the company can improve the quality of polo products. After obtaining the Voice of Customer (VOC) data, continue to use House of Quality (HOQ) for data processing. According to the calculations made by the House of Quality (HOQ), it can be seen that the quality standards with the highest priority value are non-bleaching colors, durable materials, comfortable leather materials, soft texture, unbreakable threads and clean pins. Value is 5 importance to the customer The highest technical importance rating value is 432.1, the absolute importance value is 229, and the relative importance value of using high-quality fabrics is 12.19%.

Abstract

Service quality is an action or deed that is carried out in accordance with the wishes of the user in order for the user to feel satisfied with the action or deed taken. If the user feels it is not in accordance with the user's wishes, there will be a user complaint against the company. There are complaints from PT Indocare Pacific users caused by malfunctions of the products provided by PT Indocare Pacific. The handling and response time for user complaints from the company takes quite a long time. This research was conducted with the aim of designing service quality standards at PT Indocare Pacific Batam to be able to improve the quality of users so as to achieve service user satisfaction. The method used is Plan, Do, Check, Action (PDCA), SixSigma, and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) as a proposed improvement for the company. The results of this study of the 5 dimensions of servqual that have been carried out data processing with DPMO and sigma calculations obtained each servqual dimension obtains a sigma value which shows the company needs to make improvements and improve service quality through improvement of service procedures in the form of SOP.

Abstract

PT Epson Batam is a manufacturing company engaged in the production of devices, scanners, and Ink Cartridges. CISM is the department responsible for making printer scanners. One of the processes in the CISM department is the process of combining between ic or die and pcb called module using a Die Attach machine located in the FOL area. based on the QC report in 2021 there are defects in Die products which dppm per month exceeding the company's defect standard of 4.700 dppm per month. This study aims to analyze the control of defect chipping die on die attach machines. The sampling method uses probability sampling. The data analysis uses the PDCA (Plan-DO-Check-Action) method. This study also used the FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Analysis) method to find the source of the defect, continued on the OPC (Operation Process Chart) method to see whether there has been a checking process according to the SOP in the company and at the final stage of making proposed improvements to minimize the cause of the defect. The results showed that the main cause of defect chipping die was due to foreign material due to an ineffective cleaning process because it was carried out per 100,000 pcs. Based on the OPC analysis, the improvements made were to improve the cleaning schedule from 100,000 pcs to twice a day through shiftly cleaning metal collets. The defect control using the PDCA method which was carried out during March - June 2022 the CISM department succeeded in reducing defects below company standards. in the form of SOP.

Abstract

The popularity of contemporary drinks is currently increasing to build a new business model and even develop. Today's most popular drinks are the most popular. The problem that occurs is the seller who participates in making a business selling contemporary drinks but ignores the critical quality that must be met in contemporary drinks based on consumer preferences in Batam City. The purpose of this study is to compile critical quality criteria for contemporary beverage products based on consumer preferences in Batam City. The approach used in this study is Quality Function Deployment (QFD) displayed in the House of Quality (HOQ). Based on research that has been done it can be concluded that the criteria for critical quality in contemporary beverage products based on consumer preferences in Batam City are taste, price level, ease of getting products, brand logos, size/volume packaging, composition safety, presentation method, health service permit, The existence of a halal label, has a scent, and there is information on the nutritional value on packaging successively considered important by contemporary drink consumers in Batam City.

Abstract

The packaging is also easily damaged, making it difficult for consumers to bring meatballs when they are going. The plastic packaging used less able to protect the product, and packaging in the form of a bowl that uses a heat sealer also makes the product easy to spill because the lid on the packaging is not tightly locked. The purpose this research is to develop meatball packaging according to the packaging design criteria desired and needed by consumers. The method used the Quality Function Deployment. The results obtained the packaging design criteria that have the highest priority are the shape of the packaging and the basic materials of the packaging with an importance value of 5, while the packaging design criteria that have the lowest priority are the spacing label area with an importance value 3. The technical response with the highest priority is the availability of a seal on the packaging cover with technical importance rating 216, the absolute importance 72, relative importance 10.23%. The technical response with the lowest priority is the appropriate label layout so that the product label is easy to see the technical importance rating 72, absolute importance 24 and relative importance 3.41%
