Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena permasalahan yang ditemukan di kelas X SMAS Tunas Bangsa Kab. Rokan Hilir bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa masih tergolong rendah. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari tabel hasil kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa, serta disebabkan oleh pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru dan model pembelajaran yang diterapkan belum bervariasi. Salah satu cara yang dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Resource Based Learning (RBL). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran Resource Based Learning (RBL) lebih baik daripada pembelajaran konvensional pada kelas X SMAS Tunas Bangsa Kab. Rokan Hilir. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian The Static Group Comparison Design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMAS Tunas Bangsa Kab. Rokan Hilir. Pengambilan sampel ditentukan secara acak yang terlebih dahulu dilakukan uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan uji kesamaan rata-rata pada data populasi. Sampel pada penelitian adalah siswa kelas X.1 sebagai kelas kontrol dan siswa kelas X.3 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis berupa tes uraian. Teknik analisis data tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis diolah dengan menggunakan uji- t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa dihitung dengan uji-t diperoleh  dan  karena    berarti  ditolak, sedangkan menggunakan Software SPSS diperoleh  dengan   dan . Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis mengunakan model pembelajaran Resource Based Learning lebih baik daripada menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional pada kelas X SMAS Tunas Bangsa Kab. Rokan Hilir.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the embedding of e-campus platforms during the pandemic in dealing with gender disparities in statistical literacy and shed light on the association structure between statistical literacy and gender disparities. A mixed methods approach with sequential explanatory analysis was performed among 42 pairs (man-woman) sample of sophomore students enrolled in the Inferential Statistics course selected from a random assignment of matched subjects. The two main instruments, the placement test, and the statistical literacy test, were analyzed quantitatively using the Mann-Whitney test and correspondence analysis, followed by qualitative analysis using image and text analysis. The findings reveal that the e-campus platform has increased women's statistical literacy. Specifically, there is a statistically significant difference (1) between men's and women's statistical literacy scores, (2) an association between statistical literacy level and gender, and (3) different tendencies between men's and women's statistical literacy in various ways. The e-campus platform is an excellent solution for the teaching and learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. Likewise, it can overcome gender disparities in literacy statistics. Since these findings lead to a higher statistical literacy rate for women than men, this could break the stereotype that women are less statistically literate than men.

Abstract

This research is backed by the observation results of the researcher, which show that the learning activities of ninth grade students are still teacher-centered. The teacher has used media in the form of teaching aids. However, it appears that the students are still not interested in the media provided. The purpose of this research is to determine whether the mathematics learning outcomes of students using the expository learning model with interactive media iSpring Suite in the ninth grade at MTs Muhammadiyah Pakan Sinayan. This study is an experimental research. The population in this study consists of all ninth grade students at MTsS Muhammadiyah Pakan Sinayan, which consists of 4 classes totaling 69 students. The sample was selected randomly (random sampling) after conducting normality tests, homogeneity of variance tests, and mean equality tests on the population. The sample size was 34 students. The research instrument used was a test to assess student learning outcomes. Based on the data analysis, the calculated t-value was greater than the critical t-value in both the control and experimental groups. Therefore, it was concluded that the mathematics learning outcomes of students using the expository learning strategy with interactive media iSpring Suite were better than those of students using the expository learning strategy without interactive media in Class IX at MTsS Muhammadiyah Pakan Sinayan.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low mathematics learning outcomes and self-confidence of students due to their lack of confidence in solving practice questions given by teachers. This research aims to determine the influence of the two stay two stray type cooperative learning model on mathematics learning outcomes and student self-confidence in class IX of SMPN 4 Sungai Limau. This type of research is pre-experimental with The Static Group Comparison Design. The sample was selected by random sampling. Research instruments include lesson plans, student worksheets, learning outcomes tests, and self-confidence questionnaires. Data analysis techniques use normality tests, homogeneity tests and hypothesis tests. Based on analysis of self-confidence questionnaire data using the t test at =0,05 the value of t_count> t_table is 3.7661>1.684 and the average mathematics learning result for the experimental class is 84.33 and the control class is 64.62. Analysis of the final test using the t test at a real level of =0,05 obtained the value of t_count> t_table, namely 4.073> 1.684 so that H_0 is rejected and H_1 is accepted. It can be concluded that there is a significant influence of using the two stay two stray type cooperative learning model on mathematics learning outcomes and student self-confidence in class IX of SMPN 4 Sungai Limau for the 2023/2024 academic year."This study was motivated by the low mathematics learning outcomes and self-confidence of students due to their lack of confidence in solving practice questions given by teachers. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to enable students to develop creativity, ability, and problem-solving power according to their own will. This type of research is pre-experimental research with the Static Group Comparison Design research design. The samples in this study were students of class VIII.3 as the experimental class and VIII.1 as the control class. The instruments in this study were observation sheets of learning activities and problem solving tests. The results of this study obtained a recapitulation of observations of student learning activities showing active criteria with an average of 62.49%, and based on the results of the analysis of student problem solving tests using the t-test and using Minitab software assistance which indicated that H0 was rejected. From the calculation results obtained tcount = 1.812 while ttable = 1.670. By using Minitab software, P-value (0.03) < α (0.05) is obtained. So it can be concluded that "Solving student math problems using the Jigsaw cooperative learning model is better than solving student math problems using conventional learning in class VIII SMPN 1 Koto XI Tarusan".

Abstract

This study explores the structural and homological characteristics of left modules over Leavitt path algebras, focusing on those generated by specific vertex types in a directed graph, particularly sinks and infinite emitters. The paper examines the module \( L_K(E)u \), where \( u \in E^0 \) represents either a sink or an infinite emitter, and determines whether this module exhibits the properties of being hereditary, Noetherian, and prime. Our findings indicate that \( L_K(E)u \) is indeed hereditary, implying that all its submodules are projective. Additionally, the module satisfies the ascending chain condition, making it Noetherian. However, it fails to qualify as an a-prime module, since there exist nontrivial left ideals \( I \subsetneq L_K(E) \) for which \( IM \subsetneq M \), thus does not meet the criteria for primality. These results emphasize how the presence of sinks and infinite emitters significantly affects the module-theoretic behavior of Leavitt path algebras.

Abstract

Mathematics learning is a process of giving and receiving mathematical concepts between educators and students. In early childhood, the process of learning mathematics must be done with fun because at that age children learn through play. However, on the other side, it turns out that the COVID-19 pandemic occurred resulted in a significant impact for PAUD teachers in the teaching process, especially those experienced by teachers at PAUD in Payakumbuh City. The results of this study indicate that there are dynamics experienced by PAUD teachers in teaching, especially in applying fun mathematics learning to their students, including: 1) changes in children's behavior that are increasingly difficult to interact with, 2) lack of children's motivation to learn and socialize, and 3) the lack of teacher knowledge regarding the importance of fun mathematics learning methods in inculcating good mathematical concepts in children. Pembelajaran matematika merupakan suatu proses pemberian dan penerimaan konsep matematika yang dilakukan antara pendidik dan peserta didik. Pada anak usia dini, proses pembelajaran matematika haruslah dilakukan dengan menyenangkan karena pada usia tersebut anak belajar melalui bermain. Namun, di sisi lain ternyata pandemi COVID-19 yang terjadi mengakibatkan dampak yang cukup signifikan bagi guru PAUD dalam proses mengajarnya terutama yang dialami oleh guru di salah satu PAUD di Kota Payakumbuh. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya dinamika yang dialami oleh guru PAUD dalam mengajar terutama dalam menerapkan pembelajaran matematika yang menyenangkan kepada peserta didiknya, diantaranya: 1) perubahan perilaku anak yang semakin sulit untuk diajak berinteraksi, 2) kurangnya motivasi anak untuk belajar dan bersosialisasi, dan 3) minimnya pengetahuan guru terkait pentingnya metode pembelajaran matematika yang menyenangkan dalam penanaman konsep matematika yang baik pada anak.

Data kemandirian belajar diperoleh melalui angket kemandirian belajar dan data hasil belajar diperoleh melalui tes hasil belajar matematika siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kemandirian belajar siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 8Bukittinggi yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model kooperatif tipe pair check berada pada kategori kuat dengan persentase sebesar 63,4%. Berdasarkan uji-t dengan nilai signifikan diperoleh  dan . Perhitungan menggunakan software MINITAB19 diperoleh P-value sebesar 0,042. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar matematika siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model kooperatif tipe pair check lebih baik daripada siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional di kelas IX SMP Negeri 8 Bukittinggi.

Abstract

Kemampuan Numerasi merupakan hal terpenting untuk pembelajaran matematika. Di SMP Negeri 7 Bukittinggi kemampuan numerasi matematika adalah hal yang baru, sehingga guru masih belum rutin menerapkan numerasi dalam mengajar. Rumusanmasalah pada penelitian ini, yaitu: Berapa persentase kemampuan numerasi, berapa persentase kemampuan numerasi perindikator, dan berapa distribusi kemampuannumerasi.Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmengetahui berapa persentase kemampuan numerasi, persentase kemampuan numerasi perindikator dan berapa distribusi kemampuannumerasi. Jenis penelitian ini ialah deskriptifkuantitatif.Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswakelas VIII.5SMP Negeri 7 Bukittinggi yang berjumlah 29 siswa. Data numerasi diperoleh melalui hasil tes kemampuan numerasi matematika siswa. Hasil dalam penelitian ini bahwakemampuan numerasi matematika siswarata-rata yang diperoleh adalah 43,870%. Kemampuan numerasi siswa per indikator, pada indikator pertama diperoleh 55,8%, pada indikator kedua diperoleh 52,3%, dan indikator ketiga diperoleh sebesar 23,6%. Distribusi kemampuan numerasi siswa pada kategori tinggi 10,35% (3 siswa dari 29 siswa), pada kategori sedang 41,38 % (12 siswa dari 29 siswa), dan kategori rendah dengan persentase 48,27% (14 siswa dari 29 siswa).
