This study aims to determine the relationship between gratitude and the psychological well-being of students at Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a quantitative research method with a correlational approach and uses a scale measuring instrument, namely the gratitude scale and psychological well-being scale. The sample in this study was 337 students from a population of 9,591 students who were taken using incidental techniques, namely sampling based on coincidence or samples that were met or met by researchers by chance. Data analysis was performed using a gratitude scale and a psychological well-being scale using SPSS 24.0 for windows. The results in this study indicate that there is a correlation test that has been carried out there is a significant relationship between each gratitude (r -0.700 and p < .000) with psychological well-being (r -0.700 and p < .000). R square of 0.490 indicates that gratitude has an effect of 49% on psychological well-being. The remaining 51% of the percentage of the influence of the psychological welfare variable is influenced by other factors.

This study aims to determine the relationship between social comparison and body dissatisfaction among female students at Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo. This study uses a correlational quantitative approach. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a relationship between social comparison and body dissatisfaction among female students at Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo. The sampling technique in this study used Quota Sampling with a sample of 362 female students from a total population of 6,104. The measuring instrument used for data collection uses a social comparison scale adapted from Hastuti (2018) research with a reliability level of 0.821, and a body dissatisfaction scale adapted using research from Kumalasari (2015) with a reliability level of 0.807. The data collection technique used a questionnaire via google form and distributed directly and the data analysis in this study used the Person Product Moment correlation test with the help of the SPSS 21 statistical application for windows, the results were (r) = 0.380; significance of 0.000 (p<0.05). The results of this study indicate that there is a positive relationship between social comparison and body dissatisfaction among female students at Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo. So that the hypothesis proposed in this study is accepted, it means that the higher the social comparison among female students, the higher the body dissatisfaction among female students. And conversely, the lower the social comparison among female students, the lower the body dissatisfaction among female students. The effective contribution of the body dissatisfaction variable is 14.4% to social comparison.

This research is based on the phenomenon of academic procrastination found in final students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. Academic procrastination is task avoidance caused by feelings of displeasure with the task and fear of failing to complete the task. One of the factors that trigger academic procrastination is academic anxiety. The academic anxiety variable was measured using the academic anxiety scale adopted from Ridwan with a validity coefficient value moving from 0.926 -0.746 and an alpha reliability coefficient (α) value of 0.907. The academic procrastination variable was measured by the academic procrastination scale in completing the thesis adapted from Rahayu. with a validity coefficient value moving from 0.094 to 0.596 and with an alpha (α) reliability coefficient value of 0.858. The correlation between variables was analyzed using Spearman's Rho correlation test with the help of JASP 19.0 software. The results showed that there was a relationship between the two variables with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.703 with a significance (p) of 0.001 (<0.05).

Subjective well-being is a cognitive and affective evaluation of life. The number of students who are stressed with their academic activities, experiencing anxiety and depression indicates a subjective well-being problem. The study aims to determine the relationship between social support and subjective well-being in students of the Faculty of Psychology and Education, Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo University. This type of research is quantitative using a correlational approach. The study population was students of the Faculty of Psychology and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo, totaling 2,000. The sample of this study amounted to 301 based on the Isaac & Michael table with an error rate of 5%. Sampling using purposive sampling technique where sampling is based on the criteria of active students of the Faculty of Psychology and Education in 2023/2024. The research data collection technique used a scale of social support and subjective well-being. The data analysis technique uses Spearmans Rho's product moment correlation with the help of SPSS 26.0 for windows. the result of the correlation coefficient is 0.505 with a smaller significance value of 0.000 <0.05. These results indicate a significant positive relationship between social support and subjective well-being in students of the Faculty of Psychological and Educational Sciences, Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo University. The higher the level of student social support, the higher the level of subjective well-being felt by students and vice versa

Objective: This study will focus on exploring the picture of the bandwagon effect phenomenon in adolescents. Method: The location of the study was at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo, using 3 subjects from students at the school. The research process uses qualitative methods with a descriptive phenomenological approach. The use of this method aims to be able to explore deeper personal experiences of each subject, to then be analyzed and interpreted in depth. The data collection process was carried out by applying interviews guided by three aspects of the bandwagon effect, namely conformity, interpersonal influence, and status seeking. Results: Based on this process, it was found that aspects of conformity and interpersonal influence had a more dominant influence on the subject's decision to follow the trend without consideration, when compared to one other aspect, namely the status of seeking. In addition, results were also quite varied related to the impact of the bandwagon effect, which consisted of negative impacts and positive impacts from following the trend activities carried out by the subject. Novelty: This study highlights a phenomenological exploration of how adolescents are influenced by different aspects of the bandwagon effect—specifically comparing the dominance of conformity and interpersonal influence over status seeking—in a real-world school context.

Objective: This research was aimed at examining how big is the tendency for cyberbullying behavior among high school students in Mojokerto. Method: The type of this research is quantitative experimentation with research techniques using experiments. There were 65 respondents in this study aged 15-17 years. This study used a Likert scale to obtain research data. Results: The results attained in this research demonstrated a tendency for cyberbullying behavior in vocational school students at the age of 17 for boys, this was proven by the high score on these criteria. Novelty: The function of overcoming the problem of cyberbullying is to provide socialization to the public regarding the problem of hackers/cyberbullying, one of the negative impacts of the rapid development of technology and social media.

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between organizational activity and interpersonal skills of adolescents in Trompo Asri Jabon Sidoarjo. This study uses a quantitative approach. In this study, a sample of 46 students in Trompo Asri Village, Jabon Sidoarjo, was used which was obtained from the total sampling technique. The data collection technique was carried out with the scale of organizational activity and the scale of interpersonal skills. Measurement of variables using a Likert scale. The data were analyzed by testing the hypothesis using the Pearson Correlaton Product Moment. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between organizational activity and interpersonal skills in students in Trompo Asri Village. Students' organizational activities in Trompo Asri Village are classified as active, while students' interpersonal skills in Trompo Asri Village are classified as good.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh kontrol diri dan konformitas teman sebaya terhadap kepatuhan tata tertib siswa SMK Krian 2 Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional dengan total sampel 306 siswa. Teknik yang dipakai untuk pengumpulan data yaitu menggunakan tiga skala psikologi, yaitu skala kontrol diri, skala konformitas teman sebaya, dan skala kepatuhan tata tertib siswa. Selanjutnya data dianalisis menggunakan uji regresi linier beganda. Hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai sig. sebesar 0.000 yang menunjukkan bahwa kontrol diri dan konformitas teman sebaya secara bersama-sama sebesar 24,5% memberikan pengaruh terhadap kepatuhan tata tertib. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara kontrol diri dan konformitas teman sebaya terhadap kepatuhan tata tertib siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya fenomena santri yang tidak dapat mencapai psychological well-being secara optimal. Tujuannya untuk mengetahui hubungan antara resiliensi dan religiusitas terhadap psychological well-being santri di pondok pesantren Fadllillah Sidoarjo. Metode pendekatan penelitian menggunakan kuantitatif desain korelasi berganda dengan sampel sebanyak 291 santri menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel acak berstrata dari kelas VII sampai XII. 3 skala yang digunakan yakni : resiliensi, religiusitas dan psychological well-being. Hasil penelitian ini berdasarkan analisis data menunjukkan hipotesa penelitian diterima. Skor F=63,899 dan p=0,000 menunjukkan hubungan positif secara simultan antara resiliensi dan religiusitas terhadap psychological well-being dan memiliki hubungan yang kuat. Variabel resiliensi maupun religiusitas secara terpisah juga memiliki hubungan dengan psychological well-being. Variabel resiliensi dan religiusitas secara simultan memberikan sumbangsi sebesar 30,7%, serta kategorisasi psychological well-being pada santri didominasi skor sedang 40% dan tinggi 31%. Jadi, kesimpulannya resiliensi dan religiusitas secara simultan dapat mempengaruhi psychological well-being santri. Kata kunci: resiliensi, religiusitas dan psychological well-being, santri

This quantitative comparative study aims to examine the differences in academic self-efficacy among upper grade students in elementary schools in Sidoarjo, specifically in relation to tutoring. The research population consisted of fourth and fifth-grade students from Larangan State Elementary School and Muhammadiyah 2 Kedungbanteng Elementary School, with a total of 185 subjects. The Academic Self-Efficacy Scale, comprising 27 items, was used to measure self-perceived abilities. Data analysis involved the two independent sample t-test technique. The results indicated no significant difference (p > 0.5) in academic self-efficacy between students who received tutoring and those who did not. The Cronbach's Alpha test demonstrated high reliability (0.890) for the academic self-efficacy scale. This study highlights that tutoring did not have a significant impact on the academic self-efficacy of upper grade students. These findings provide implications for educators and parents in considering alternative strategies to enhance students' academic self-efficacy beyond traditional tutoring approaches. Highlight: No significant difference: The study reveals that there is no significant difference in academic self-efficacy between students who receive tutoring and those who do not. Reliable scale: The academic self-efficacy scale used in the study demonstrates high reliability, with a Cronbach's Alpha coefficient of 0.890. Implications for practice: The findings suggest that tutoring may not be the sole determinant of academic self-efficacy in upper grade students, prompting educators and parents to consider alternative strategies to enhance students' belief in their abilities.
