The data obtained are presented as narrative text, tables, and charts. Testing the validity of the data is carried out by the data triangulation method. The results showed that the hijra process consists of two types: self-taught and through institutions. Most hijra practitioners who learn self-taught are accomplished online, while the rest learn offline and a combination of online and offline. Hijra perpetrators carry out a face-to-face direct process with the ustadz / ustadzah and the hijra community while actively accessing hijra and religious content through online recitation or joining social media channels. The second process in hijra is studying directly at religious institutions following the manhaj. They study religion at religious institutions to get precise knowledge and be more methodical to avoid misunderstanding religious teachings.

Abstract

Abstract

The high level of internet penetration during a pandemic allows people to be exposed and influenced virtually by radical ideologies. This study aims to provide an overview of the cyber radicalization process and communication patterns during the Covid-19 pandemic. The study utilized the literature review method by reviewing scientific journals, which was accomplished by criticizing, synthesizing, and summarizing the selected data. The results showed that during the Covid-19 pandemic, radical group ideologues spread propaganda via the internet and succeeded in increasing the radicalism sympathize and the number of lone wolves. The radical groups have extraordinary mass communication patterns. They spread radical ideology subtly and greatly influenced the masses. The pattern of intrapersonal communication arises, specifically the internalization of values based on learning, observation, and self-understanding. The radicalism process via the internet is effective media due to its ease, cheapness, and massive and broad spectrum. Straightforward access to radical content found on the internet and social media has led to the emergence of a lone wolf, a person who participates in radicalization by independent process and is not affiliated with any radical groups. This research contributes to completing data on radicalism issues by providing data support in developing strategies to prevent the spread of cyber radicalism.

Abstract

In the era of technological and information modernization, the need for information is one of the basic needs for human life. It makes various community groups develop ways of life to meet these needs. One of them was carried out by the people of Melung Village, who independently built an internet network in their village to obtain access to information from outside Melung Village. The difficult location and being in the mountains make this business known to many, so Melung Village is nicknamed the Internet Village or Digital Village. In its development, this embedded predicate, or nickname affects how people recognize themselves and represent their identity. This research wants to explore more deeply how the dynamics and formation of sociocultural identities for the community are located. This study uses ethnographic methods to obtain field data. Ethnography was chosen to obtain data from the perspective of cultural stakeholders, in this case, the people of Melung village. The results of this study show that the people of Melung Village do not deliberately embed the identity of the digital village but rather introduce the public to Melung Village, a remote village with good internet access. In its development, this identity is interpreted by the community not only as the identity of the village but also as the identity of the people of Melung Village.

Abstract

The phenomenon of hijrah encountered its momentum because the leading enthusiasts for hijrah came from among young people. This study aims to examine the main determinants of motivation to hijrah. The two arguments tested in this study are the influence of social media and the influence of the social environment. The data collection method used in this study was a closed questionnaire consisting of questions related to the motivation to hijrah. A literature review supports the study results to strengthen the analysis results. The research respondents were Banyumas residents who were selected through purposive sampling. The questionnaire consists of 4 answer options, specifically Strongly Agree (SS) is given a score of 4, Agree (S) is given a score of 3, Disagree (TS) is given a score of 2, and Strongly Disagree is given a score of 1. The primary determinant of hijrah is determined through the index results by calculating a predetermined formula. The results showed that the social media influence factor index was higher than the social environment influence factor index. The social media influence index is 19.03, while the social environment influence factor is 12.43. Based on the index number, it can be concluded that the influence of social media is the primary determinant of a person's motivation to hijrah. The study's results stated that the primary determinant of motivation to hijrah was the influence of social media (Hypothesis accepted).

Abstract

The research results of Melasarianti & Nurhayani (2020) revealed that high school secondary level teachers in the Banyumas Regency area still have low knowledge of experimental research methods. This is proven by the implementation of the 2013 curriculum, teachers are looking for learning innovations to solve problems in teaching and learning activities in the classroom, still using the classroom action research (PTK) method. The low level of teacher knowledge regarding these types of research methods is also experienced by the teachers of SMK N 1 Purwokerto. Evidently, from the results obtained by Melasarianti & Nurhayani (2020) research respondents, as many as 30% came from SMK N 1 Purwokerto, revealing the importance of research methods, especially experimental research, to seek innovation in the learning process. Based on these problems, this activity aims to increase the knowledge and skills of SMK N 1 Purwokerto teachers regarding experimental research methods. The implementation of this activity uses seminar presentation methods, discussions, training and mentoring. Some of the results of this activity are: 1) increasing the knowledge and information of SMK N 1 Purwokerto teachers regarding experimental research methods, 2) increasing the abilities and skills of SMK N1 Purwokerto teachers in compiling titles and formulating problems in experimental research.

Abstract

The problems that occur at the Darul Abror Islamic Boarding School in Purwokerto are low physical literacy and the tendency of students to ignore physical activity. The solution offered in community service activities is to provide physical literacy assistance based on traditional sports activities. The methods used in this PKM activity consist of Community Education and Mentoring. In the community education method, it is carried out by providing education, lectures, interactive discussions, and questions and answers. The mentoring method is carried out by preparing a physical literacy program while implementing it in the form of a traditional sports activities festival. PKM activities were carried out in 8 (eight) meeting sessions starting from the preliminary, implementation, evaluation and follow-up stages. The results of Community Service activities based on the physical activity questionnaire show that the majority of students at the Darul Abror Islamic Boarding School rarely do sports activities. There are 2% of students who do sports activities 3-4 times a week, while the other 10% of students do light sports activities 1-2 times a week. The remaining 88% have never done any sports activities at all. Traditional sports practices are carried out by students by carrying out traditional sports competitions consisting of sack races and beam relay races. Santri participate in traditional sports activities with enthusiasm. It is hoped that with this activity, students can develop healthy living habits and be active in sports.
