Abstract

The Indonesian Central Government Financial Report (LKPP) is a financial document prepared to increase transparency and accountability in the implementation of the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN). It is prepared within a tight schedule, hence changes made by each entity must be updated promptly. Therefore, this research focuses on the optimal table design for presenting financial reports. Query optimization is a major concern in database design, with the use of indexing concepts to increase data search speed. Table partitioning is also a strategy to consider, namely dividing a table into parts that form separate data ranges. The use of a Materialized View (MV) is another alternative, providing increased performance with the space-for-time trade-off principle. Experiments were carried out by comparing the response time of applying index, partition, and materialized views to produce financial report data. Experimental results indicate that materialized views can provide significant advantages when faced with large volumetric data. The decision to choose a materialized view can be considered contextually, depending on the specific needs and characteristics of the data encountered in a database system.

Abstract

HOSPITAL ABC is one of the companies that operates in the healthcare sector. In the construction of the hospitals, must be supported by the implementation of technology, especially network technology so that all operational devices in the hospital can be connected and communicate with each other, while still paying attention to the security factor on the network. Based on this, project management is needed in network and security development at the hospital to be built so that the development can be following the timeline and meet the expectations of all stakeholders. With the use of the PMBOK approach for network development and security in hospitals, every phase has very important activities and is related to other activities. Besides that, by using the PMBOK approach can also find out which parts are challenges in project implementation. In this project, the process of procuring/ordering devices, storing devices, and physically checking devices with BAST are critical parts and require more attention so that the project can run according to the specified time.

Abstract

Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) is one of the most popular concepts recently due to the ease of access to social media. This concept surprisingly contributed significantly to purchase intentions and customer decision-making. Thus, this study aimed to classify FoMO classes based on the factors that influence them. The data in this study was analyzed using a machine learning predictive classification model, Naïve Bayes, utilizing RapidMiner. Based on these research findings, gender and educational level had almost no influence, age group had a weak influence, daily social media use duration and peer comparison had a moderate influence, and the most used social media platform had a strong influence on FoMO. Accordingly, it was found that individuals ranging from 36 to 45 years old, with longer durations of daily social media use and moderate peer comparison frequency, using TikTok and Facebook as platforms, are more likely to be classified within a group experiencing FoMO. These findings differed from other studies, as no other study discussed the factors of FoMO feelings from a holistic view, and there was a lack of studies utilizing machine learning. By understanding this concept, marketers could gain a better view of how to categorize the FoMO feelings of their customers and use this knowledge to develop effective digital marketing strategy that could enhance customer purchase intention.

Abstract

Style Queen Kebaya Store (SQ Kebaya) is a store that is engaged in apparel, its product sales focus includes adult and children's kebaya. The negative impact of the Covid 19 Pandemic has proven that the Store (SQ Kebaya) has experienced a decline in sales turnover in 2020, therefore the SQ Kebaya Store's efforts to restore its sales activities are by giving gifts for customer appreciation during the COVID 19 season through selecting the best customers for the 2020 period. However, the problem faced by SQ Kebaya Stores in the process of evaluating the best customer selection is that there is no criterion weight so that the decision making is not right on target, making the best customer decisions less efficient because they have to look for customer sales records manually in the sales record book. This study produces a web-based decision support system for selecting the best customers at SQ Kebaya Stores using the AHP (criteria weight), SAW and WASPAS (best customer ranking) methods, this study produces priority weights and importance levels of each criterion, namely status (0.37 ), method of payment (0.23), total spending (0.14), quantity (0.13), intensity of visits (0.07), length of subscription (0.07) and the result of ranking the percentage of the largest alternative value is the alternative SAW method with an average of 0.6952 , while the WASPAS method is 0.6405. It can be concluded that the right method used to obtain the best alternative value is the SAW method.

Abstract

The autonomous status of Malang City, established at the beginning of the twentieth century, brought significant changes to urban space and community life. These spatial changes are evident in the emergence of leisure spaces designed to accommodate a European lifestyle. The development of various forms of entertainment, supported by related facilities, represented an effort to serve the needs of the elite classes who migrated to Malang in large numbers. As a result, entertainment venues and leisure spaces fostered new forms of European-style leisure activities. This paper examines the formation of leisure spaces as representations of social class in Malang City, the relationship between leisure spaces and European communities, and the transformation of urban society in connection with leisure practices. The study employs historical methods and relies on primary sources drawn from contemporary newspapers. Publications such as Indische Courant, Java Bode, De Locomotief, and Soerabaijasch Handelsblad functioned not only as historical records but also as media for promoting leisure spaces. Using leisure class theory, this study analyzes the socio-cultural practices that took place within leisure spaces and contributed to the shaping of urban areas during the Dutch East Indies period. Dutch colonial power, as reflected in leisure and entertainment spaces, underwent significant changes following the collapse of colonial rule and its replacement by Japanese occupation. Nevertheless, Dutch colonial influence continued to shape the character of Malang. The social and urban transformations that occurred in the city reflected the growth of consumerism and entertainment culture. Ultimately, the emergence of entertainment venues in Malang became a symbol of colonialism, marked by distinctive patterns of inclusivity and exclusivity.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how the Sedulur Sikep community preserves its traditional clothing as part of efforts to preserve local culture amid the tide of modernization. This study uses a qualitative approach with literature study and visual observation methods and descriptive interpretive data analysis. Stuart Hall's theory of representation is used to understand how cultural identity is formed and communicated through clothing symbols, while Clifford Geertz's concept of culture as a system of meaning is used to reveal how the Sedulur Sikep community's clothing practices are part of the construction of social values passed down through generations. The research findings indicate that the traditional attire of the Sedulur Sikep community not only serves as a visual identifier of identity but also carries philosophical meanings related to simplicity, equality, and respect for ancestors. Efforts to preserve traditional Samin clothing include wearing it during important events such as community gatherings, weddings, and other cultural activities. Preservation efforts also involve transmitting values to younger generations and through local government policies that support the use of local cultural symbols in formal settings.
