Abstract

Entrepreneurs and small businesses play a crucial role in the global economy, particularly as sources of innovation, employment, and local economic growth. However, many entrepreneurial business entities face various challenges, including market uncertainty, intense competition, and a lack of resources and managerial experience. This research aims to examine the role of mentorship in stimulating the growth and success of entrepreneurial business entities. The research method employs a qualitative literature review approach with a focus on exploring relevant literature through Google Scholar. Literature searches were conducted on Google Scholar with a time frame between 2013 and 2023 to ensure inclusivity of recent studies. The study's findings indicate that, in the context of entrepreneurial business, the importance of mentorship proves to be a highly significant element in stimulating growth and success. Mentorship not only serves as a provider of practical advice but also as a source of inspiration, holistic perspectives, and emotional support. Through their experience and wisdom, mentors assist entrepreneurs in overcoming challenges, identifying opportunities, and developing long-term strategies to advance their businesses.

Abstract

In this era of globalization, social, economic, and technological dynamics continue to evolve rapidly. Community empowerment is becoming increasingly crucial for enhancing well-being and sustainability. In this context, the role of employees with relevant competencies becomes pivotal in supporting community empowerment efforts. Therefore, this research aims to analyze competency development strategies for employees within the context of community empowerment. The study employs a qualitative literature review method, drawing data from Google Scholar within the timeframe of 2006-2023. The study's findings indicate that competency development strategies for employees in the context of community empowerment constitute a holistic approach that plays an integral role in achieving sustainable development goals. From identifying competency needs to implementing individual development programs, these steps form a robust foundation for realizing positive changes within the community. By empowering employees through the enhancement of skills and knowledge, organizations not only strengthen their internal capacities but also make a significant contribution to community well-being.

Abstract

The digital economy era demands micro-enterprises to possess adaptive innovation and competitiveness in order to survive and grow. Entrepreneurial education plays a strategic role in equipping business actors with technical, managerial, and digital literacy competencies relevant to modern market dynamics. This study employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method and descriptive analysis. Secondary data were obtained from 50 scholarly articles accessed through Google Scholar and other credible academic websites, covering publications from 1964 to 2025. After a rigorous selection process based on relevance and methodological validity, 31 articles were used as primary sources. The data analysis technique involved three stages: grouping articles according to key variables, identifying patterns and inter-variable relationships, and synthesizing findings to derive conceptual conclusions. The results indicate that entrepreneurial education significantly enhances innovation, operational efficiency, and micro-enterprise competitiveness, thereby contributing positively to community welfare in the digital economy era

Abstract

Transformasi digital telah menjadi pendorong utama perubahan lanskap bisnis, terutama bagi Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) yang menjadi tulang punggung perekonomian Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam peran strategis sistem informasi bisnis dalam mendukung sinkronisasi pengelolaan talenta, penguatan branding, inovasi layanan, dan peningkatan daya saing UMKM di era ekonomi digital. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode tinjauan pustaka menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif terhadap 32 artikel ilmiah dan sumber kredibel yang dipublikasikan antara tahun 1964 hingga 2025. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi bisnis berperan sebagai katalisator utama dalam pengelolaan SDM berbasis data (melalui Human Resource Information System), peningkatan nilai merek melalui Customer Relationship Management, serta akselerasi inovasi layanan berbasis digital. Teori Resource-Based View dan Dynamic Capabilities menegaskan bahwa sistem informasi menjadi aset strategis yang mampu memperkuat keunggulan bersaing secara berkelanjutan. Studi kasus UMKM seperti Brodo, Sate Ratu, dan Haus! memperkuat argumen bahwa integrasi sistem informasi mampu meningkatkan ketahanan, adaptivitas, dan inovasi bisnis UMKM dalam menghadapi tekanan pasar yang dinamis. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam pemahaman peran sistem informasi sebagai strategi kunci dalam pemberdayaan dan penguatan daya saing UMKM di tengah disrupsi digital yang kian masif.

Abstract

Community Service (PkM) represents a practical implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education, which emphasizes the responsibility of universities to contribute to social development and community welfare. One form of community service with significant social and humanitarian impact is the provision of assistance to orphaned children. This community engagement program was organized by Sekolah Tinggi Manajemen LABORA on May 22–23, 2026, in Bogor, involving lecturers and educational staff as active participants. The program aimed to strengthen social awareness among academic members, provide material and emotional support to orphaned children, and foster values of empathy, solidarity, and social responsibility. The implementation process consisted of four stages: planning, fundraising, assistance distribution, and evaluation. The results indicate that the activity contributed positively to the well-being of the beneficiaries, strengthened relationships between the university and the local community, and generated academic outputs in the form of scientific publications. Furthermore, the program provided reflective learning experiences for participants, enabling them to internalize humanitarian values and social responsibility. Therefore, orphan support activities can serve as an effective community service model that integrates social, humanitarian, spiritual, and academic dimensions.

Abstract

This study aims to examine community service as an instrument for enhancing community social capacity through the perspectives of social capital and community resilience. The study employs a literature review method with a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis, focusing on expanding and enriching scholarly references related to community service. Data were obtained from Google Scholar and selected credible websites, covering publications from 1994 to 2026. Of the 50 articles identified at the initial stage, a rigorous selection process based on topic relevance, methodological quality, and source credibility resulted in 30 articles being analyzed in depth. The findings indicate that community service programs designed in a participatory and contextual manner play a significant role in strengthening social capital, enhancing collective capacity, and building community resilience. The integration of social capital and community resilience perspectives effectively explains the mechanisms through which community service contributes to sustainable social development. This study emphasizes the importance of community service as a strategic component of community-based development and provides a conceptual contribution to the advancement of community service studies and practices in the future.
