Abstract

This study is a preliminary investigation to find out teacher and parents’ knowledge of Child Sexual Abuse (CSA), to find out teacher and parents attitudes towards CSA prevention education in school, and to find out what CSA topics that have been taught by teachers and parents with their children in Kendari. The data were collected by using questionnaires with 627 total respondents. The results revealed that the knowledge of teachers and parents’ CSA in Kendari is of average level. 59,6% of teacher and parents have enough information about CSA. Despite the average knowledge, they have a positive attitude (80.7%) towards CSA prevention education in school. Most of them (54.5%) report that they already implemented CSA prevention education for their children. Majority of teachers and parents (75,28%) admits to have heard about cases of CSA in Kendari. Most of them obtained information from TV/electronic media (44,54%), stories being passed around the neighborhood (19,33%), and from the other sources: newspapers, closed family, relatives, and children’s school. One of the sexual abuse cases which has been widely circulated among the respondents is a stepfather or a teacher who allegedly sexually harasses his child, and majority of people have committed CSA are from close family, such as: stepfather, teacher, neighbor, family friends, uncle, grandfather, or parent’s grocery subscription. Abstract

Abstract: Stress and management stress kindergarten teacher in Kendari City. The aim of this study is describing level of stress and stress management at kindergarten teacher in Kendari. This research is quantitative research. The subject of research is 56 kindergarten teacher in Kendari. Sampling techniques in this research is convenience sampling. The result shows that level of stress in kindergarten teacher is 62% (33% low, 21% average, 7% high) and 37,5% respondents are categorized as normal. For stress management, 95% respondents have an average stress management level and 5% have low stress management level.Keywords: Stress, stress management, kindergarten teacher.Abstrak: stress dan manajemen stress guru taman kanak-kanak di Kota Kendari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat stres dan manajemen stres guru taman kanak-kanak di Kota Kendari. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah 56 guru TK di Kota Kendari. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah convenience sampling. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa tingkat stres guru taman kanak-kanak di Kota Kendari adalah 62% mengalami stres (33% stres ringan, 21% stres sedang, 7% stres berat) dan 37,5% dalam tingkatan yang normal. Sedangkan kemampuan manajemen stres yang dimiliki oleh para guru Taman Kanak-kanak di Kota Kendari adalah 95% memiliki kemampuan manajemen stres yang sedang (cukup) dan 5% memiliki kemampuan manajemen stres yang rendah.Kata Kunci: Stres, manajemen stres, guru taman kanak-kanak .

Abstract

The stigma of society in adolescents who experience the process of punishment makes the situation of teenagers worse off. This feeling of sinking occurs because teenagers have not been able to apply self-forgiveness to themselves, thus making themselves feel guilty, and ashamed of themselves. This feeling of shame and guilt occurs because of poor self-efficacy and lack of self-regulation in the teenager. So that self-efficacy and self-regulation are considered very important in bringing up self-forgiveness. This study aims to see how big the contribution of self-efficacy and self-regulation variables to self-forgiveness of adolescents who are undergoing punishment (n=36). Collecting data using a scale of self-regulation, self-efficacy and self-forgiveness then analyzed using regression techniques. The results of the study found that self-efficacy and self-regulation can significantly contribute to adolescent self-forgiveness, this is indicated by the value of f=5.285, probability p=0.01 (p<0.05), and an effective contribution of 24.3%.

Abstract

The numbers of golput increasing in Indonesia each election after reform, it became a threat to the democratic process of this nation. Recorded in 2004, the number of golput increased to 23% from the previous election period and it’s number increased again to 39% in 2009. The voters more apathetic and do not care again about the fate of their country, so it was supposed to be a concern, especially for young voters as the next generation of the democratic process. This study focused on the factors that influence voting behavior, especially the influence of the authoritarian personality and the influence of a reference group for young voters. Voting behavior equated with purchasing behavior, so that voters are seen as political consumers. This study was designed to quantitatively, the data were analyzed using path analysis because the independent variables affect the dependent variable directly and indirectly. The results showed that the authoritarian personality directly by 0,365 ( β = 0.365 , p <0.05 ) influence voting behavior for young voters. Reference group has no direct influence on the voting behavior for young voters, but it indirectly through the authoritarian personality affect voting behavior for young voters. Reference group that directly influence young voter’s authoritarian personality is the parent ( β = 0.128 , p <0.05 ) and peers ( β = - .198 , p <0.05 ).

Abstract

Penelitian ini betujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan metode bermain peran terhadap kemampuan kognitif anak. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode pra-eksperimen desain one group pretest posttest. Sampel penelitian ini adalah seluruh populasi anak kelompok B usia 5-6 tahun di RA Al-Mu’minin Kota Kendari, yaitu 10 orang anak laki-laki dan 10 orang anak perempuan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, dokumentasi dan instrument penelitian. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model statistik berupa analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial dengan uji-t data berpasangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada yang signifikan antara metode bermain peran terhadap kemampuan kognitif anak yang dapat dilihat dari pesentase anak berkembang sesuai harapan (BSH) sebesar 65% dan berkembang sangat baik (BSB) sebesar 30%.

Abstract

The implementation of nursing care that has not been done optimally, it has became a common problem in the most of government hospitals in Indonesia. Many customers feel not dissatisfied for health care services received from government hospitals. Work motivation is considered as one of the factors that influence the implementation of nursing care in hospital. It is can provide quality health services in hospital which expected by customers. The focus of this study was about how influence of Work motivation to the implementation of nursing care, especially in the Rumah Sakit Umum (RSU)Kolaka in Southeast Sulawesi. The study was designed as a quantitative. The population in this study were all nurses who worked at the RSU Kolaka. All the population in this study were the civil servants (PNS).The sampling technique used was purposive random sampling, so that the sample used in this research consisted of 53 nurses. Analysis of the data used was a simple linear regression analysis. The results of study showed thatthe work motivation contributed 15.6%to the implementation of nursing care (R2 = 0.156) in the RSU Kolaka Southeast Sulawesi.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari proses berpikir siswa SMA Muhammadiyah Kendari yang bergaya kognitif impulsif dan reflektif ditinjau dalam memecahkan masalah matematika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksploratif. Penelitian dilaksanakan bulan Agustus Tahun 2022 pada siswa SMA Muhammadiyah Kendari. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini, yaitu (1) reduksi data. (2) penyajian data. (3) Penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (a) Tahap memahami masalah: kedua subjek penelitian cenderung memiliki tipe proses berpikir konseptual. (b) Tahap merumuskan strategi pemecahan masalah: kedua subjek penelitian cenderung proses berpikirnya konseptual. (c) Tahap pelaksaan strategi pemecahan masalah: subjek reflektiv cenderung tipe berpikirnya konseptual, sedangkan subjek impulsif cendrung tipe berpikirnya semikonseptual. (d) Tahap memeriksa kembali hasil pemecahan masalah: subjek implusif cenderung tipe berpikirnya semi konseptual sedangkan implusif cenderung tipe berpikirnya komputasional.

Abstract

Adanya dukungan sosial orang tua pada remaja seharusnya membuat diri remaja mampu merasa percaya diri dan meyakini bahwa dirinya mampu menghadapi setiap hal yang akan dihadapinya baik di masa saat ini maupun di masa depan, namun hasil di lapangan menunjukan bahwa beberapa remaja yang terjadi terlihat kurang percaya diri ketika mengambil sebuah keputusan ke depan. Dukungan sosial orangtua sendiri dapat diartikan sebagai segala bentuk bantuan seperti kasih sayang, penghargaan, integrasi sosial, ikatan yang dapat diandalkan, bimbingan, serta bantuan orang tua pada anak supaya anak merasa dihargai, dicintai serta mendapatkan manfaat secara emosional. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari sejauh mana peranan dukungan orang tua terhadap efikasi diri remaja di kota Kendari. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional dan menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling (convenience sampling) yang melibatkan subjek sebanyak 84 remaja dengan rentang umur 16-17 tahun. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala dukungan orang tua dan skala efikasi diri. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dukungan sosial orang tua tidak mempunyai peran terhadap efikasi diri yang dapatdilihat dari nilai signifikan 0.448 (p > 0.05).

Abstract

Media video adalah seperangkat komponen atau media yang mampu menampilkan gambar sekaligus suara dalam waktu yang bersamaan. Media video bertujuan untuk menyampaikan materi pembelajaran melalui tayangan gambar gerak yang diproyeksikan membentuk karakter sama dengan obyek aslinya, rangsangan belajar yang baik akan memberikan pengalaman belajar yang efektif. Pemilihan salah satu metode mengajar tertentu akan mempengaruhi jenis media pengajaran yang berdasarkan pada kebutuhan anak begitu juga sebaliknya, untuk menggunakan media tertentu diperlukan metode yang sesuai berdasarkan pada kebutuhan anak didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan media video dalam pembelajaran di PAUD, yang di lakukan PAUD Tahfidzul Qur’an Yurefi. Pemilihan lokasi ini dianggap memiliki pembelajaran yang dilakukan secara efektif dengan menggunakan media video dalam memotivasi belajar anak. Jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian kualitatif, dengan metode observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan media video dalam aktivitas belajar dapat menarik perhatian, menyenangkan, serta menghilangkan kejenuhan bagi anak didik

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of applying Augmented Reality media in improving the cognitive abilities of early childhood students at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 1 Kendari Kindergarten. This study employs a quantitative research approach using a pretest-posttest experimental design. The instrument used in this study is an observation assessment sheet using a Likert scale. This study employs total population sampling, so all 16 children in Class B of Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 1 Kendari Kindergarten were included as the sample. The data analysis techniques used in this study include: (1) calculating the average change in scores, and (2) the cognitive development index of children. Based on the results of the cognitive development calculation, a percentage of 81.25% was obtained. This indicates a significant improvement in children's cognitive abilities following the use of Augmented Reality (AR) media. The children demonstrated better ability in recognising objects, such as fruits, vegetables, animals, and vehicles, as well as in following instructions given through the AR medium. Moving forward, more schools should consider integrating AR technology into their teaching and learning processes. Additionally, it is crucial to continually enhance the infrastructure and accessibility of AR devices, ensuring that all children can benefit from them.
