Abstract

This research aims to reveal how the emergency situation actually is and its implications for responding to the COVID-19 pandemic by focusing on the monumental work of Syekh Wahbah az-Zuhaili, namely al-Tafsir al-Munir fi al-'Aqidah, wa al-Syari'ah wa al-Manhaj. This interesting and significant research was carried out by researchers to examine and explore how the concept of emergency is in Tafsir al-Munir and what are its implications in responding to the COVID-19 pandemic with all its disruption consequences. This research was conducted through a qualitative approach to the type of literature research. The primary data source for this study is Tafsir al-Munir with primary data in the form of the results of Wahbah az-Zuhaili's interpretation of ahkam verses containing the concept of emergency. The secondary data of this research is an explanation related to the research topic. Meanwhile, content analysis is used to analyze the data. Checking the validity of this qualitative research data was carried out using theoretical triangulation techniques. Wahbah Zuhaili's interpretation of the emergency clause is relevant when applied to dealing with a pandemic, in this case the conditions of the PSBB and the permissibility of using the AstraZeneca Vaccine without neglecting other types of vaccines

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the marketing mix strategy used by the Paradise Parisudha Clinic in increasing the sales volume of their skin care products. This research uses a qualitative approach with primary data obtained through interviews and direct observation, as well as secondary data which includes sales reports, customer files, and related books. The results of this study show that Klinik Paradise Parisudha effectively implements all elements of the 7P marketing mix, including product, price, distribution, promotion, people, process, and physical evidence. However, this study also found that the product element became the most successful marketing strategy in increasing the sales of Paradise Parisudha Clinic. This may indicate that it is important to produce attractive and quality products to attract customers and increase sales. In conclusion, Klinik Paradise Parisudha has successfully implemented a comprehensive marketing mix strategy, with an emphasis on products, to increase their sales volume in the competitive beauty clinic industry.

Abstract

Some people are that, the use of vaccines is halal, but others are the opposite. Related to this, the Central MUI responded to public anxiety by issuing 2 fatwas, namely the fatwa for the law on the Sinovac vaccine and the Astrazeneca vaccine. As for the Sinovac vaccine, based on fatwa Number: 02 of 2021, it is stated that the Covid-19 Vaccine Product from Sinovac Life Sciences Co. Ltd. China And PT. Bio Farma (Persero) is lawful and holy. While the astrazeneca vaccine is based on Fatwa No. 14 of 2021 concerning the Law on the Use of 19 Astrazeneca vaccines, the law is haram. The existence of taking advantage of pig trypsin in the vaccine production process became the basis for determining the haram fatwa. However, its use is permitted for emergency reasons. Unlike the Central MUI, the East Java MUI stated otherwise. In the meeting of the East Java MUI Fatwa Commission on March 21, 2021, it was determined that the vaccine developed by the University of Oxford and AstraZeneca Plc was halalan thayyiban or halal and good. This resulted in a dualism of fatwa, namely the fatwa issued by the central MUI and the East Java MUI, even though the ending was both applicable. Therefore, the researcher considers it very important and fundamental to examine the responses of the kiai in the city of Kediri, especially the kiai of the Islamic boarding school Lirboyo and Al Falah Ploso to the fatwa of the central MUI and the East Java MUI regarding the Astrazeneca vaccine law. This paper aims to (1) examine the responses of the kiai of the city of Kediri to the differences in the fatwas of the central MUI and the MUI of East Java in the use of the Astrazeneca vaccine, (2) assess the response of the kiai of the city of Kediri on the understanding and willingness of the public to participate in the government's vaccine program

Abstract

Poligamy is not new problem, but poligamy discourse is always being controversial issue in Indonesian community. In its tasyri‟ manner, poligamy is currently possible to be done based on certain reasons. But behind it‟s controversy in the society, there is community that disposed nash becoming dominant factor as faith strengthener while the reason is following Sunnah Rasul. But in a contrary, there is other community that refuses poligamy based on the argumentation of subordinative position of female community and discriminative policy for them. Historically, the practice of poligamy has been done before Islam era, even there was no limitation in marrying women. But since Islam has come, the practice of poligamy has been beginning to be restricted as four wives only, however it still becomes controversial issue in the society. So that, the writer efforts to investigate the philosophy of islamic law (falsafah al-tasyrī‟) about poligamy by exploring the philosophy value from its possibilities, wether it can realize the goal of marriage that is sakinah, mawaddah wa rah}mah) or even bocomes a strict problem in the family. This article is one way to get bridge in taking attitude of its controvercial side in the society.

Abstract

In response to the increasingly competitive and uncertain business environment, promotional strategies are crucial for companies to sustain and grow. This study aims to analyze the promotional strategies implemented by TPKU Jombang in facing global competition, with a focus on the application of Islamic business ethics. A qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach was employed, involving data collection through interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. The findings reveal that TPKU relies on word-of-mouth promotion as its main strategy, which has proven effective in attracting and retaining customers. However, the company faces challenges in utilizing digital technology to expand its promotional reach, primarily due to limited technological knowledge among its employees. Additionally, the application of Islamic business ethics principles, such as honesty and transparency, plays a crucial role in building consumer trust and maintaining the company's reputation. Therefore, to remain competitive in the global market, TPKU should consider integrating digital technology into its promotional strategies while upholding Islamic ethical principles.

Abstract

Abstrak: Perkembangan teknologi pada era ini menunjukkan perkembangan yang begitu pesat. Dunia mengalami kemajuan luar biasa dalam teknologi dan inovasi. Kehadiran aplikasi Digital Islamic Network (DIN) sebagai platform digital yang bermanfaat disambut antusias masyarakat. Untuk itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peranan aplikasi Digital Islamic Network (DIN) dalam meningkatkan pelayanan nasabah di Bank Muamalat KCP Tulungagung. Artikel ini menggunakan metode deskriptif-kualitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian lapangan dan penelitian kepustakaan. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Digital Islamic Network (DIN) di Bank Muamalat KCP Tulungagung berperan untuk memudahkan nasabah mendapatkan layanan yang berkualitas dan profesional dengan mewujudkan efektifitas dan efisiensi layanan perbankan kepada nasabah. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan peran Muamalat Digital Islamic Network (DIN) dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan, memberikan kemudahan pelayanan kepada pelanggan, efisiensi waktu, memberikan jaminan keamanan bagi pelanggan, dan memberikan kepuasan pelayanan. Abstract: The development of technology in the current era show growing rapidly. The world is experiencing tremendous progress in technology and innovation. The presence of the Digital Islamic Network (DIN) application as a beneficial digital platform is enthusiastically welcomed by the public. For this reason, this study aims to determine the role of Digital Islamic Network (DIN) applications in improving customer service at Bank Muamalat KCP Tulungagung. This article uses a descriptive-qualitative method with a field research and library research approach. Sources of data used in this study are primary data sources and secondary data sources. The result of the study shows that the Digital Islamic Network (DIN) at Bank Muamalat KCP Tulungagung plays a role in making it easy for customers to receive quality and professional services by realizing the effectiveness and efficiency of banking services to customers. This is proven by the role of Muamalat Digital Islamic Network (DIN) in improving the quality of service, providing easy service to customers, time efficiency, providing security guarantees for customers, and providing service satisfaction.

Abstract

Generally, polygamy among Madurese Ulama is carried out arbitrarily and secretly, resulting in suffering and significant discrimination against women. However, in specific instances, certain Madurese Ulama exhibit unique behaviors in constructing polygamous families, fostering comfort and harmony within their households. This research investigates the practice of polygamy among the ulama of Madurese and the influencing factors behind such practices. Employing a qualitative method, primary data sources comprise three polygamous families led by Madurese Ulama, each demonstrating distinctiveness in managing their polygamous households. The findings of this study conclude the existence of two models of polygamy practiced by Madurese Ulama, including polygamy initiated by the husband's desire with consent from the wives and initiated by the wives with consent from the husband. The practice of polygamy among Madurese Ulama is influenced by factors such as sexual needs, the authority held by these Ulama, and the devout religious culture of Madurese society, which tends to venerate Madurese Ulama excessively. Abstrak: Pada umumnya poligami ulama Madura dilakukan secara sewenang-wenang dan siri (tidak dicatat oleh negara), yang mendatangkan penderitaaan dan diskriminasi yang sangat merugikan perempuan. Sebaliknya dalam fenomena tertentu, terdapat ulama Madura yang memiliki perilaku unik dalam membangun keluarga poligami sehingga mendatangkan kenyamanan dan keharmonisan dalam rumah tangga. Penelitian ini menelaah praktik poligami yang dilakukan oleh ulama Madura dan faktor yang mempengaruhi poligami tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan sumber data primernya adalah tiga keluarga ulama Madura yang memiliki keunikan dalam membagun rumah tangga poligamis. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat dua model poligami yang dilakukan oleh ulama Madura, yaitu poligami yang dilakukan atas kehendak suami dengan persetujuan para istri dan poligami yang dilakukan atas inisiatif para istri dengan mendapatkan persetujuan  suami. Poligami ulama Madura dipengaruhi oleh faktor kebutuhan seksual dan otoritas ulama Madura, serta budaya hidup masyarakat Madura yang taat beragama dan cenderung berlebihan dalam mengkultus ulamanya.

Abstract

This study explores the shift in the spirituality of the Shiddiqiyah Order towards an economic empowerment paradigm in order to address modern Islamic issues. The Order is claimed to be a reflection of the decline of Islam because it only emphasizes spirituality, while neglecting worldly affairs. The order focuses only on religious and mystical rituals. They are passive towards social problems and changes. Therefore, this study reflects the spirituality of the Shiddiqiyah Order, which makes community empowerment a means to achieve perfection before God. This effort is referred to as a shift to negotiate the concept of ijtihad in the order. This is a qualitative study, with primary data taken from interviews with members of the Shiddiqiyah Order and several mursyids. The data was then analyzed using triangulation involving authentic sources. The findings show that the metaphysical shift to the profane realm (community empowerment) is a spiritual step towards achieving peace in worshiping God. This shift is based on three basic concepts of ijtihad, namely qiyas, istihsan, and istislah, which state that the existence of the order is to provide social peace through spirituality. This process is then called the negotiation of the spirituality of the order.

Abstract

This study explores the metamorphosis of productive zakat through the integration of women empowerment in the Kampung Zakat (Zakat Village) program initiated by BAZNAS in Besole Village, Besuki District, Tulungagung Regency. Employing a qualitative approach based on interviews, observations, and documentation, the study reveals that productive zakat does not merely provide capital assistance, but also initiates a transformation process, economically, socially, and spiritually. Women, especially widows and members of low-income families, became empowered to support their households through small enterprises. More importantly, they were also encouraged to engage in daily giving practices (such as sadaqah subuh), which fostered spiritual growth and nurtures the transition from mustahik (zakat recipient) to muzakki (zakat contributor). This indicateed a metamorphosis from passive dependence to active contribution. The findings affirmed that productive zakat, when combined with structured empowerment and spiritual reinforcement, became an effective tool in realizing SDGs Goals 1 (No Poverty) and 5 (Gender Equality). This study contributes to the field of Islamic philanthropy and zakat management by proposing a contextual, replicable empowerment model that aligns with global development goals while offering practical implications for public policy and localized zakat distribution strategies
