Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology, particularly Microsoft Excel, facilitates the management of administrative data in educational institutions. Information systems are crucial for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness. The administration at Pondok Pesantren Darul Musthofa Sangatta is conducted manually, resulting in deficiencies such as inaccurate data, difficulties in information retrieval, limitations in student data management, and inefficient operations. The student administration information system is considered a solution to address these challenges. This system facilitates the management of student administrative data for administrators. The system is developed using the waterfall methodology, encompassing phases of requirement analysis, design, coding with VBA Macro in Microsoft Excel, testing, and maintenance. This study has produced a web-based student administration information system at Pondok Pesantren Darul Musthofa Sangatta. The system streamlines the administration of student data within the institution, conserving time, effort, and resources. Furthermore, it allows students and parents/guardians to access administrative information, including monthly payments, re-registration, and remaining funds. The system has been customized to meet the specific requirements of Pondok Pesantren Darul Musthofa Sangatta

Abstract

Wadah Laundry is a business that records transactions manually without a structured bookkeeping system. This leads to difficulties in monitoring operational income and expenses, making it unclear whether the business is generating profit or loss. Therefore, this study aims to develop an information system based on Microsoft Access to facilitate transaction recording, monitor financial flows, and calculate profit or loss more accurately. This research employs a field study method by collecting data directly through observations and interviews related to the business’s operational processes. The developed system includes key features such as customer transaction recording, customer data management, data storage, editing, deletion, and report generation as needed. The implementation results show that this system can help process data more effectively, making transaction recording more organized and accurate. Thus, the developed application is expected to support Wadah Laundry’s operations by improving business management efficiency.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kemampuan peserta dalam metodologi dan proses konstruksi teori melalui pengembangan atau mengadaptasi teori yang telah ada agar relevan dengan konteks manajerial kontemporer. Selain itu, kegiatan ini menekankan pentingnya pemilihan metode penelitian yang tepat agar hasil penelitian memiliki validitas dan reliabilitas yang tinggi yang sesuai dengan etika akademik dan standar keilmuan manajemen. Coaching Clinic ini diharapkan menjadi sarana pembentukan paradigma ilmiah yang mendukung pengembangan ilmu manajemen berbasis riset. Metode pelaksanaan dengan pendekatan partisipatif, interaktif dan berbasis praktik ilmiah. Sebanyak 87 peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan ini. Hasil kegiatan dibuktikan dengan tersusunnya framework penelitian yang lebih sistematis dan berbasis teori manajemen yang relevan. Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi langkah awal pembentukan budaya riset di kalangan Mahasiswa STIMI Samarinda.
