Abstract

In Indonesia, the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in the virtualization of most social and educational activities, including discourse on the dynamics of Islamic education, which is colored by contextual differences in manhaj, ideology, and religious practice. Social media has evolved into a new role as a multicultural public space that reflects the Indonesian people's religious literacy diversity. As a subsystem of national education, Islamic education plays a critical role in internalizing the Indonesian people's competencies. Religious moderation literacy will lead Indonesian people who are multicultural to a more accepting and inclusive attitude while reducing social conflicts. The purpose of this research is to ascertain public sentiment toward religious literacy in Indonesia during the 2020 Covid-19 outbreak. Twitter was chosen as the virtual public space to study in this context because, according to previous research, it is a social media platform widely used by Indonesians to discuss serious topics in education and religion. The researcher employs a type of quantitative exploration as a statistical testing technique. The data collection technique was crawling through open public data associated with Twitter's Application Programming Interface (API). This research generated findings in a word cloud labeling graph containing data on religious moderation participation. The sentiment analysis score obtained is - 0.9183, which is higher than 0.4588 on religious moderation content. The combined score is 0.565, which is higher than 0.333. the results are also contained in a sentiment analysis heat map visualization. The researchers recommend future researchers compare the ratio of religious moderation material on Islamic religious education subjects in online learning.

Abstract

Sugarcane (Saccharum Officanarum is an annual plantation crop, which has its own characteristics, because the stem contains sugar. To classify the results of sugarcane production, currently still using the manual method by only looking at the current conditions of sugarcane production. This is less efficient because there is no calculation process in grouping sugarcane. So that mistakes can occur in grouping sugarcane production to get good results or not in the assessment of sugarcane grouping at PTPN II Kwala Madu. For this reason, the author will create an alternative application system that can group sugarcane production with the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm to find out the best type of sugarcane production based on the factors. The application made by the author uses the PHP programming language and uses the MySQL database as data storage. The system is made as easy as possible to make it easier for users to use and understand later.

Abstract

This study examines the determinants of tax aggressiveness in Indonesian consumer non-cyclical manufacturing firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2021 and 2024, focusing on Political Connections, Capital Intensity, Risk Management Committee, and Real Earnings Management. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 175 purposively selected firms with complete financial reports, consistent profitability, and statements in Indonesian Rupiah. Tax aggressiveness was measured by Effective Tax Rate, while other variables were operationalized using appropriate quantitative proxies. Multiple linear regression analysis reveals that only Capital Intensity significantly influences tax aggressiveness, whereas Political Connections, Risk Management Committee, and Real Earnings Management show no significant effect. The adjusted R² of 0.042 indicates that most variation in tax aggressiveness is explained by factors outside the scope of this study. Future research should consider larger samples, longer periods, and additional governance and earnings management variables to gain a more comprehensive understanding.

Abstract

Background: Father involvement in newborn care is increasingly recognized as a key determinant of infant health and family well-being. In Indonesia, paternal roles in neonatal care are often overlooked, and father-specific educational support remains limited. Understanding fathers’ lived experiences and learning needs is essential for developing effective, culturally appropriate interventions. Objective: This study aimed to explore the experiences and educational needs of Indonesian fathers in newborn care. Methods: A qualitative descriptive study was conducted using a thematic analysis approach. Sixteen fathers of infants aged 0-12 months were recruited through purposive sampling in Jakarta and the surrounding areas. Data were collected in 2024 through in-depth semi-structured interviews and analyzed using Braun and Clarke’s six-step framework. Trustworthiness was ensured through audit trails, member checking, and peer debriefing. Results: Three major themes emerged: (1) social media as the main source of information, (2) fathers’ practical involvement and learning needs in baby care, and (3) preference for visual and practical learning media. Fathers expressed strong motivation to be involved but faced challenges accessing reliable, father-focused educational content. Their learning preferences were shaped by practicality, time constraints, and the need for culturally relevant materials. Conclusion: Indonesian fathers are eager to participate in newborn care but lack structured educational support tailored to their needs. Pediatric nurses play a critical role in developing father-inclusive, digital, and culturally responsive interventions that enhance paternal self-efficacy and caregiving competence. Future programs should integrate father-focused digital interventions, such as video-based tutorials and podcasts, into pediatric nursing practice to effectively bridge the educational gap.
