Abstract

Dalam makalah ini akan dibahas mengenai aplikasi kontrol optimal dengan kontrol bang-bang pada efektifitas usaha medis dalam membatasi epidemi. Mula-mula dimodelkan tingkat perubahan jumlah penduduk yang terinfeksi penyakit dengan adanya usaha medis yang dilakukan yang menjadi kendala pada kontrol optimal ini, kemudian dimodelkan fungsi objektif yaitu akan diminimumkannya cost usaha medis dalam membatasi epidemi dengan batas akhir yang ditentukan. Kemudian dengan teori kontrol optimal yang menggunakan kontrol bang-bang akan dihasilkan sistem yang optimal. Dan hasilnya akan disimulasikan dengan kompute menggunakan software Mathlab.

Abstract

The background of this classroom action research was to find out the low level of learning achievement of fourth grade students of SDN 2 Suban on Mathematics. This is because the learning model used is less attractive to students. The researcher conducted this study with the aim of analyzing the design of learning, the process of learning activities, learning models, and learning achievement of fourth grade students on Thematic subjects. Based on the fact that the student's learning outcomes are low, the writer conducts classroom action research with the intention of improving student learning outcomes. Collaborating with fellow writers trying to use the Discovery Learning model in learning carried out in the first cycle and second cycle, to improve the learning achievement of fourth grade students of SDN 2 Suban. The plan for improving learning through this research turns out that using the Discovery Learning model can improve student learning achievement. From the evaluation results, it can be seen that the percentage of learning outcomes of students who can achieve KKM with the acquisition of the percentage of pre-cycle 30%, cycle I 65%, cycle II 91%. Thus the author feels the need to master and use various learning models in each learning activity in the School. Keywords: Discovery Learning, Mathematics and Learning Achievement

Abstract

In the operation of a gasoline motor, ideal air temperature that enters the combustion chamber influenced by environmental air temperature which affects the results of the combustion process. To produce optimal performance from a gasoline motorbike with the ideal air temperature, so the ideal ambient air temperature or space is needed. In this study, we will try to reduce the air temperature before entering the combustion chamber using an electronic component called TEC. research using the Honda Supra X 125 motorcycle brand The results of the analysis show that using electronic components is able to reduce the air temperature before entering the combustion chamber and the result is the temperature that experienced the highest performance increase at 250C with a Ne value of 8.8 HP, T value of 9,01 N.m, the lowest FC value is 0.47586 kg / hour, and the lowest SFC value is 0.618 kg / hour Keywords: Air Temperature, TEC, Performance Mesin

Abstract

Memperlihatkan bahwa salah satu faktor yang memengaruhi kesuksesan proses belajar adalah peran guru. Banyak guru masih mengaplikasikan metode ceramah dan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada guru (Teacher Centered), Proses pembelajaran seperti hal ini tidak dapat dianggap sebagai metode pengajaran yang efektif. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan tindakan konkret oleh guru untuk memperbaiki kualitas pembelajaran di kelas. Tindakan tersebut mencakup penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan gaya belajar siswa, salah satunya dengan menggunakan model student facilitator and explaining. Tujuan penelitian yang dilakukan peneliti adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh model pembelajaran student facilitator and explaining terhadap hasil belajar siswa Kelas XI pada mata pelajaran IPS. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitan ini adalah Kuantitatif eksperimen. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas XI MA Al Junaidiyah yang berjumlah 26 siswa. Sampel pada penelitian ini dalah kelas XI1 dan XI2. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan memberikan tes soal kepada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Dapat disimpulkan hasil dari penelitian ini bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajara student facilitator and explaining hasil belajar siswa kelas XI pada mata pelajaran IPS. Nilai rata-rata post-test menunjukkan bahwa nilai dari kelas eskperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas control yaitu sebesar 76,66 kelas eksperimen dan 61,66 untuk kelas control.

Abstract

Mengingat potensi sumber daya laut dan air yang dimiliki Kota Surabaya khususnya di wilayah pesisir Kenjeran, tentunya perlu adanya pelatihan terkait strategi pengembangan dan pemeliharaan untuk menjaga kondisi lingkungan yang memberikan dampak positif. Melihat mayoritas penduduk pesisir adalah nelayan dan lebih banyak melakukan pengolahan hasil tangkapan ikan secara mandiri ataupun kelompok maka potensi limbah ikan, limbah jeroan ikan membutuhkan perlakuan khusus, dengan melihat kondisi tersebut maka dibutuhkan mesin pengolah limbah ikan dan jeroan yang bisa diolah menjadi pupuk organik yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk kesuburan tanaman . Bertitik tolak pada kondisi yang demikian maka tim pengabdian Universitas Muhammadiyah Surabaya membuat mesin pengolahan limbah jeroan ikan dengan kapasitas 8 kg/jam dan sekaligus sebagai pengaduk adonan pupuk organik yang terdiri dari 100 gram jeroan ikan yang sudah digiling, 660 sekam padi, 660 gram arang halus, 1liter air, tanah dan 100 ml bakteri EM4 kemudian difermentasi di tempat/wadah yang kedap udara selama 5 sampai dengan 10 hari. Dari hasil pengabdian berupa pelatihan pemanfaatan mesin ekstrusi dan pengaduk jeroan ikan pada UMKM di Kenjeran didapat hasil awal berupa fermentasi adonan yang kemudian dikeringkan dengan kadar air 11 persen, selama kurang lebih 1 hari penuh dan pupuk siap untuk dikemas serta dipasarkan.

Abstract

A braking system in a vehicle has a very important role in maintaining the safety of drivers and passengers, and preventing accidents. The brake system functions to reduce speed (slow down) and stop the vehicle. A good braking system provides safety and comfort for the drivers. Therefore, it is necessary to design the right braking system for “Sakera” car. In this study, an analysis and calculation of the braking system was carried out to determine the required braking force at a speed of 50 km/hour and other speeds in a distance of 15 m. The data taken in this study was the specification of the braking system used in the Sakera car. The braking system analysis was carried out on flat roads with varying speeds, namely 30 km/h, 35 km/h, 40 km/h, 45 km/h, and 50 km/h with a distance of 15 m for braking. The conclusions of the analysis were obtained, namely the greater the speed of Sakera's car, the greater the braking force to stop the car, the hydraulic pressure on the hose, and the force of the driver's feet, as well as the braking force needed on road conditions with a slope angle of 20º, which is 839.362 N.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the Adobe Flash-based learning model in improving student learning achievement in Civics IV subjects at SDN 2 Suka Maju. This classroom action research uses an Adobe Flash-based learning model by developing scientific thinking. This research is a type of Classroom Action Research with pre-cycle stages and 2 cycles, namely cycle 1 and cycle 2 through 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research was conducted at SDN 2 Suka Maju, the subject of this research was 27 students with a KKM success of 76. Data collection techniques were observation, data analysis techniques were using formulas to find out average values ​​and percentages. The research results showed that the learning outcomes in the pre-cycle of learning completeness were 9 students with a percentage of 33%, in the first cycle there was an increase in learning completeness by 13 students, the percentage was 48%, and in the second cycle there were 23 students who achieved the KKM with a success percentage of 85%. . Due to the increase in success in each learning cycle, the author states that the Adobe Flash-based learning model is suitable for use in learning, especially in Civics subjects.

Abstract

Research with the implementation of character education through the PAKEM approach model in civic education subjects aims to provide the inculcation of character values that are embedded in humans through learning civic education in Schools. This study uses a qualitative method so that the resulting research procedure is descriptive data from the results of these observations with words, pictures, and not numbers so that the research report contains quotations of data to provide an overview of its presentation. The results of this research are that civic education can be used as a determinant in improving character education by building citizenship education with a new paradigm and developing learning to apply the PAKEM approach. Through character-based civics learning with the application of the PAKEM approach, several conventional Civics learning problems can shift into innovative learning. The use of learning models in every teaching and learning activity is based on character education so that students are always happy and have a meaningful learning concept.

Abstract

Students learn, change attitudes, and develop life skills inside and outside school by following and obeying the rules in structured education. This study was conducted to analyze and find out what factors affect student motivation to learn social studies and to know the role and contribution of the school environment to student learning motivation. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method, the sampling technique of which is purposive sampling, to determine the research sample. For data collection techniques used are library research and field research, including observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the school environment influences student learning motivation to facilitate the teaching and learning process. Physical factors, such as classroom facilities and cleanliness, affect children's sense of comfort and safety in the school environment. Social interactions between learners, teachers, and education personnel are part of the school environment, which is very important in fostering harmony, collaboration, and a sense of unity in the school community, ultimately impacting students' academic drive. Teacher factors include teaching methods and exemplary school atmosphere and conditions, school friends (classmates), student health, talents possessed by each student, facilities, and infrastructure, completeness of learning tools and media, and family support, which all affect student learning motivation. The presence of complete facilities improves the quality of social studies learning, qualified teachers, a comfortable and clean school environment, and encouragement and motivation from social studies teachers.

Abstract

Based on the value of the results of Indonesian language learning students at SD Negeri 2 Madukoro class V odd semester on the subject of listening to folklore, the average daily test score of students is 65 and those who get a value of ≥ 70 as much as 68.97%. This shows that the Indonesian language learning outcomes of students are still relatively low because they are still under 70. This is due to a lack of student participation in the learning process, it is characterized by students who ask less, some students do not concentrate when learning takes place . Therefore, it is necessary to make efforts to overcome the problem, namely by using the problem posing learning model. This study aims to determine whether there is an increase in student learning outcomes through the problem posing learning model on the subject of listening to folklore text texts of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Madukoro. The data in this study are quantitative data obtained through observation, field notes and tests at the end of each cycle. The results of this study indicate an increase in learning outcomes per cycle. The learning outcomes obtained in cycle 1 with an average value of 67.41 with students who obtained a value of ≥70 as much as 41.37% of 29 students, while in the second cycle the results of student learning which scored ≥70 reached 89.56% of 29 students. It can be concluded that the problem posing learning model can improve student learning outcomes on the subject of listening to folklore texts.
