Abstract

Carok adalah budaya kekerasan Madura yang masih melekat hingga kini. Para Blater, selaku pemegang otoritas kekuasaan social budaya Madura yang sering mempromosikan identitas carok dengan celuritnya. Sementara Kiai merupakan otoritas kekuasaan dengan artikulasi penguasa Musholla dan Masjid. konstruk solusi dakwah bil hikmah yang ditawarkan Kiai selama ini berkutat pada dakwah lemah lembut dan tidak langsung melalui jejaring Pesantren, Madrasah, Majelis taklim, pengajian ataupun kegiatan ritual keagamaan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan normatif. Sumber data primer penelitian ini data kualitatif dengan makna Dakhwah bil Hikmah, baik sumber tafsir, hadits ataupun jurnal yang membahas tentang dakwah bil hikmah. Analisa Data dalam penelitian ini akan menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Analisis yang digunakan adalah dekonstruksi Jacques Derrida. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Pemaknaan konstruktif dakwah bil hikmah ini perlu didekonstruksi. Pemaknaan dekonstruksi dakwah bil hikmah Kiai dalam penyelesaian carok berupa pendalaman tawhid cinta kematian dengan mempertaruhkan nyawa; menyiapkan mental siap bertarung dengan menempa diri jago silat, jago tarung dan jago main celurit. Sementara rekonstruksi pemaknaan dakwah bil hikmah penyelesaian carok di lakukan dengan kemampuan melakukan keseimbangan antara menjadi penjaga Masjid plus penghunus celurit, siap mati melakukan nahiy munkar. Inilah profil yang dicontohkan dan diuswahkan oleh Nabi Muhammad. Inilah Resolusi Kiai dalam penyelesaian Carok. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam pemaknaan dakwah bil hikmah yang lebih kontekstual terhadap kepedulian dalam penyelesaian Carok. Dakwah bil hikmah selama ini justeru menjadi payung apologi kalangan Kiai untuk tidak terlibat langsung dalam penyelesaian carok. Penelitian memiliki keterbatasan belum menggali secara fenomenologis pemaknaan dakwah bil hikmah yang telah dilakukakn oleh Kiai serta praktik dan implementasinya dalam penyelesaian carok. Abstract

Assistance in the formation of nationalist-religious character is an urgent need in the midst of the challenges of globalization, modernization, and the rapid flow of digitalization that has the potential to erode the values of nationality and the spirituality of society. This service activity aims to assist the people of Gunung Malang Village, Sumberjambe District, Jember Regency in strengthening the nationalist-religious character through the religious activities of Rotibul Haddad and the August 2025 Vibrant celebration. The approach used is Participatory Action Research (PAR) by emphasizing active community participation from the planning, implementation, to evaluation stages of activities. Emile Durkheim's theoretical perspective is used to analyze the role of collective rituals and social practices in creating mechanical solidarity that strengthens social cohesion as well as fosters nationalist-religious consciousness. The results of the mentoring show that Rotibul Haddad activities are routinely able to foster a deep sense of religiosity and spirituality, while the August Celebration with various competitions and celebrations strengthens nationalism and a sense of togetherness across generations. The integration of the two gives birth to harmony between religious and national values which is reflected in increasing community participation, social solidarity, and collective awareness of maintaining local traditions within the framework of the Republic of Indonesia. The significance of this activity lies in strengthening the social base of the village community which is able to make religion and nationalism not as separate entities, but as a complementary foundation in building the character of the nation. Thus, this assistance not only results in transformation at the individual level, but also strengthens the social cohesion of the people of Gunung Malang Village as a model for strengthening the nationalist-religious character based on local wisdom.

Abstract

This study addresses the low entrepreneurial readiness among vocational education students, a condition that persists despite the increasing national demand for young entrepreneurs. This gap is evident in the lack of practical skills such as identifying business opportunities, calculating production costs, and effectively marketing products. The aim of this study was to strengthen students' entrepreneurial capacity through an integrated mentoring model tailored to their learning context at SMK Al-Furqon Bondowoso, Indonesia. The method used was a community-based training approach that included seminars, workshops, coaching, and hands-on practice during a three-day intervention (January 4-6, 2026). The findings indicate an increased understanding of entrepreneurial concepts, competency in calculating production costs, pricing, and profit margins, and improvements in designing basic marketing strategies using offline and online media. Participants also demonstrated a shift in attitudes toward entrepreneurship as a viable career path that can be planned as early as possible. The study concludes that context-responsive mentoring can bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application in vocational settings and has the potential to be replicated to support entrepreneurship development in similar institutions at the secondary education level. These findings also emphasize the importance of an entrepreneurial empowerment model for the younger generation.

Abstract

This research will focus on the study of KHR Thought. As'ad Syamsul Arifin on the State System and the System of Government in Islam which is stated in the form of Acceptance of the Single Principle of Pancasila. This study wants to answer First; how does KHR think. As'ad Syamsul Arifin on the State System and the System of Government in Islam. Second; how KHR thinks. As'ad Syamsul Arifin about accepting Pancasila as a Single Principle. Methodology This research uses qualitative research with a conceptual and historical approach. Primary data sources are the book al-ahkam as-Sulthoniyah and the book Biography of KHR. As'ad Syamsul Arifin, MUnas ALim Ulama' Situbondo Document in 1983. The data collection technique in this study is documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique carried out in this study is descriptive-interpretive. The results of this study show that KHR Thinking. As'ad Syamsul Arifin on the State System and the System of Government in Islam which is stated in the form of Acceptance of the Single Principle of Pancasila. KHR's thoughts. As'ad Syamsul Arifin on the State System and the System of Government in Islam was obtained comprehensively and completely from his contact with Hadlrotus Shaykh KH. Hasyim Asy'ari, as well as his real work in defending and contributing to the nation's journey. Standing as a Fighter for the Jihad Resolution, against the Japanese, taking part as a Constituent Member, Fighting against the PKI, and directly involved as a Politician. Meanwhile, KHR's thoughts. As'ad Syamsul Arifin about accepting Pancasila as a Single Principle is the culmination of his thoughts on the State System and the System of Government. According to Kiai As'ad, the first precept of Pancasila is a reflection of the teachings of monotheism in Islam. Not stopping here, Kiai As'ad boldly presented his views and direct criticism to President Soeharto who wanted to make Pancasila a tool to generalize the truth of all religions. This research contributes to strengthening the mapping of the role and contribution of Kiai Pesantren in the concept of the State and the Government system. The research has not reached the aspect of KHR thinking. As'ad Syamsul Arifin which is outlined in works/books/manuscripts.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the religious life of the people of the city of Pontianak and to know the attitude of tolerance between religious communities in the Muslim minority environment in the people of the city of Pontianak and the views of Islamic morality on religious tolerance. Some of the objects in this study are: The living conditions of religious people in Pontianak City, West Kalimantan, Moderate forms of tolerance between religious communities in Pontinak City, West Kalimantan, Attitudes of moderation and tolerance values ​​between religious communities in creating harmony in Pontianak City, West Kalimantan. This study aims to measure the level of understanding of the values ​​of moderation and tolerance between religious communities in creating harmony in Pontianak City, West Kalimantan. The method chosen in this research is quantitative research methods, which can be interpreted as research methods based on the philosophy of positivism, used to examine certain populations or samples, sampling techniques are generally carried out randomly, data collection using research instruments, data analysis is quantitative. The operational definition of the variable in this study is the level of understanding of the population and leaders regarding the attitudes of values ​​of moderation and tolerance between religious communities in creating harmony in Pontianak City. The level of understanding that is measured: First, the attitude of values ​​of moderation and religious tolerance in the field of Aqidah including: not insulting or damaging other religious symbols, such as: holy books, places of worship, and symbols that are religious accessories; Second, the values ​​of moderation and religious tolerance in the field of worship, including: allowing other people to worship in peace; Third, the attitude of values ​​of moderation and religious tolerance in the field of Mu'amalah, including: Be fair in all worldly transactions, such as buying and selling, not discriminating in service when becoming a seller or not buying monopoly to fellow Muslims only when becoming a buyer with the intent to shutting down the efforts of non-Muslims and fourthly, religious moderation in the field of morals, including: being polite, such as if passing non-Muslims, excuse me, if there are non-Muslims who need help on the road, we will help, speak well when talking to non-Muslims

Abstract

Female judges in the District Court of Jember Regency face tensions between classical fiqh perspectives and modern judicial practices, including social, structural, and gender-based barriers that limit their participation. This study aims to analyze the relevance of Husein Muhammad’s gender thought and gender-just Islamic interpretations to the existence and role of female judges. Employing a qualitative empirical approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with a female judge, document analysis, and literature review on gender discourse in Islam and judicial practice. The findings reveal that female judges possess equal authority and responsibility as male judges but continue to encounter social and structural challenges, including domestic burdens and gender stereotypes. Husein Muhammad's perspective, when viewed through the lens of maq??id al-shar?‘ah, offers a robust theological and ethical foundation for gender equality, highlighting the tenets of justice, public benefit (maslahah), and human dignity. This framework supports the idea that women should participate in the judiciary, thus reducing the influence of patriarchal views in legal decisions. The research shows that it's possible to combine modern religious discussions with established legal procedures. Ultimately, incorporating gender-sensitive Islamic thought into judicial practice can foster a more inclusive and fair legal system. The study's importance resides in its provision of a contextual Islamic framework that endorses women's participation and challenges patriarchal interpretations found within traditional fiqh.

Abstract

This study examines the limited scholarly attention given to the role of Bu Nyai as legislators in the Tapal Kuda region through Simone de Beauvoir’s existential feminism. It aims to analyze the roles, positions, and domestic relations of Bu Nyai within the legislative sphere in Tapal Kuda, East Java. A qualitative case study approach was conducted in the Tapal Kuda region. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and document analysis, and were analyzed thematically using data triangulation to obtain an in-depth understanding of Bu Nyai’s roles in the legislature. The findings show that Bu Nyai's involvement reflects a significant transformation of pesantren women from the domestic sphere into the public political arena. Figures such as Neng Dana, Ninik, and Neng Ufa utilize religious social capital, education, and organizational networks to strengthen their political positions. From Simone de Beauvoir’s perspective, they experience a process of becoming that negotiates between immanence and transcendence, thereby challenging patriarchal structures. In addition to legislative, oversight, and budgeting functions, they also advocate for women’s issues, education, health, and community-based economic empowerment. This demonstrates the strengthening of autonomous political subjectivities among pesantren women in Indonesia’s public sphere. In conclusion, Bu Nyai represents a transformation toward more independent and empowered political actors capable of transcending traditional patriarchal boundaries in Tapal Kuda. This study contributes to existential feminist scholarship and supports more inclusive and gender-responsive public policy in Indonesia.
