Abstract

Santri di pondok pesantren sering menghadapi keterbatasan akses layanan kesehatan dan kurangnya pengetahuan tentang pemeriksaan kesehatan dasar, yang dapat meningkatkan risiko penyakit menular maupun tidak menular. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan program pemeriksaan kesehatan yang komprehensif, cepat tanggap, dan berkesinambungan di lingkungan pesantren. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan program TUNTAS (Tanggap dan Utama dalam Pemeriksaan Kesehatan) yang dilakukan di Pondok Pesantren Al-Fatah Cileungsi, Kabupaten Bogor, sebagai upaya peningkatan kesehatan santri secara preventif dan promotif. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui skrining kesehatan yang mencakup pemeriksaan tekanan darah, status gizi, kesehatan mulut dan gigi, serta pemeriksaan dasar lainnya, disertai dengan penyuluhan kesehatan dan pendampingan tindak lanjut. Peserta kegiatan adalah 80 santri putra dan putri berusia 12–20 tahun, dengan data dikumpulkan melalui hasil pemeriksaan kesehatan dan kuesioner pre-post edukasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa 65% santri memiliki status kesehatan normal, 25% mengalami masalah ringan seperti karies gigi dan anemia, serta 10% ditemukan berisiko hipertensi ringan. Selain itu, penyuluhan kesehatan terbukti meningkatkan pengetahuan santri, ditunjukkan dengan kenaikan skor rata-rata dari 55,2 menjadi 81,6 (p<0,05). Dengan demikian, program TUNTAS terbukti efektif dalam mendeteksi dini masalah kesehatan, meningkatkan pengetahuan santri, serta mendorong perilaku hidup sehat di lingkungan pesantren. Keberlanjutan kegiatan ini sangat diperlukan melalui kerja sama antara pondok pesantren, puskesmas, dan pihak terkait guna memastikan kesehatan santri tetap terjaga.

Abstract

Food is something that affects the condition in the mouth locally during mastication and after being swallowed will affect the growth and development of the pre and post tooth eruption. Dental disease that is often encountered is caries. The process of caries is caused by food debris attached to the surface of the teeth and if leftovers are not cleaned, acids will form so that bacteria will take place quickly and cause dental caries. The sample used in the study was 30 respondents who came for treatment at the Pampang Health Center, Makassar City. This research was conducted at the Pampang Health Center, Makassar City. The sample method used in this research was purposive sampling, which was taken using criteria, and the data taken for analysis was primary data obtained by giving questionnaires and dental examinations using observation sheets to patients who had came for treatment at the puskesmas. This research was a descriptive study, namely to describe the mother's knowledge about the effect of sucrose-containing foods on the occurrence of dental caries at the Pampang Health Center, Makassar City.

Abstract

Knowledge occurs after a person makes an infiltration of a particular object. The transmission of objects occurs through the human senses of sight, hearing, smell, taste and rejection by itself. Attitude is a level of affection, both positive and negative in relation to psychological objects, such as: symbols, phrases, slogans, people, institutions, ideals and ideas. The aim of this study is to find out the facts that influence mothers in the early delivery of accompanying food in Puskesmas Bajeng District of Gowa. The study was carried out in Puskesmas Bajeng District of gowa with a sample of 35 mothers. This study aims to determine the knowledge and attitudes of mothers with early breastfeeding to infants and identify the influence of these variables and with analytical descriptive research methods and crossectional approaches. There is an influence between mother's knowledge of giving early breastfeeding in Puskesmas Bajeng district of Gowa based on the statistical test Chi-Square obtained a value p=0,003 < α=0,05. The conclusion of this study is that the knowledge and attitude of the mother is related to the early delivery of accompanying food in the Puskesmas Bajeng district of Gowa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dampak kewirausahaan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan keperawatan, dengan fokus pada pengalaman praktisi bisnis keperawatan. Melalui metode studi literatur, kami mengidentifikasi kontribusi kewirausahaan terhadap efektivitas, efisiensi, dan inovasi dalam pelayanan keperawatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktisi bisnis keperawatan yang menerapkan konsep kewirausahaan dapat mengenali peluang inovasi, meningkatkan kepemimpinan berbasis nilai, dan memperkuat penggunaan teknologi dalam pelayanan. Meskipun ditemukan beberapa tantangan implementasi, penelitian ini memberikan dasar bagi pengembangan model pelayanan keperawatan yang adaptif dan responsif. Rekomendasi termasuk peningkatan pelatihan kewirausahaan bagi praktisi, dukungan kebijakan yang lebih konkret, dan kolaborasi lintas sektor. Kesimpulannya, integrasi kewirausahaan dalam praktik keperawatan menjadi kunci untuk menghadapi dinamika kompleks dalam layanan kesehatan modern.

Abstract

Children's adherence to dental hygiene is a crucial factor in preventing dental and oral diseases, particularly caries, which is common among school-aged children. This low adherence is often caused by a lack of understanding and motivation regarding the importance of maintaining good dental hygiene. The storytelling method is believed to be an effective educational strategy because it aligns with the developmental characteristics of children who enjoy stories and imagination. This study aimed to determine the effect of the storytelling method on children's adherence to dental hygiene. The study used a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test control group design. The sample consisted of 40 children aged 6–8 years, divided into two groups: an experimental group educated using the storytelling method, and a control group educated using the conventional lecture method. Data were collected through a toothbrushing adherence questionnaire covering brushing frequency, time, and technique. The analysis showed a significant increase in children's adherence scores in the experimental group after treatment (p = 0.001), while the increase was not significant in the control group (p = 0.213). An independent t-test showed a significant difference between the two groups after the intervention (p = 0.004). In conclusion, the storytelling method has a significant impact on increasing children's adherence to dental hygiene. This approach can be implemented by teachers, healthcare workers, and parents as a fun and effective educational method to foster clean and healthy living habits from an early age.

Abstract

Background: Pediatric patient safety is a top priority in healthcare because children are highly vulnerable to medical errors and at risk of injury during care. An effective nursing management system is believed to improve the quality of care and reduce patient safety incidents. Objective: This study aims to analyze the application of a nursing management system to improve pediatric patient safety. Methods: The study used a descriptive approach with a literature review and observational method limited to pediatric care units. Data were obtained from national and international journals, nursing textbooks, and patient safety guidelines. Results: The study results indicate that the implementation of a nursing management system, which includes care planning, staff organization, implementation of standard operating procedures, and ongoing evaluation, can improve nurses' adherence to pediatric patient safety principles. Conclusion: The nursing management system plays a crucial role in improving pediatric patient safety and needs to be consistently implemented in nursing practice.
