Abstract

Speaking skills in language learning play an important role in everyday communication, but in the context of Arabic language learning, many students face difficulties in speaking due to limited vocabulary, low self-confidence, and lack of authentic interaction. The Role Play method is one of the effective solutions in improving students' speaking skills by providing a more interactive and contextual communication experience. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Role Play method in Arabic language learning through a literature study with a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of the study indicate that the Role Play method, which is based on Communicative Language Teaching (CLT), is able to increase spontaneous speaking, reduce anxiety, and enrich vocabulary and understanding of language structures. Its success depends on relevant scenarios, gradual guidance, and constructive feedback from teachers. However, challenges such as low student self-confidence and limited contextual scenarios are still obstacles in its implementation. Therefore, supportive learning strategies, the use of digital media, and a learning environment that encourages active interaction are needed. With the right approach, the Role Play method can be an effective alternative in improving Arabic speaking skills actively and meaningfully.

Abstract

The digital era has brought fundamental changes in education, particularly in the way students learn and teachers teach. This study aims to analyze the impact of technology integration in learning on improving students' academic quality and social skills in primary schools in the digital era. Digital transformation in education has brought significant changes in teaching methods, interaction between students and teachers, and students' learning patterns. Through a qualitative approach with literature study and structured observation in several elementary schools, this research found that the appropriate use of technology can improve concept understanding, accelerate access to information, and facilitate more personalized and adaptive learning. In addition, the integration of collaborative platforms and digital media also promotes the development of social skills such as communication, cooperation and empathy. However, the effectiveness of technology integration is highly dependent on infrastructure readiness, teacher competence, and proper guidance so that students do not get trapped in digital isolation. In conclusion, the integration of technology in primary school learning has great potential to support a more holistic transformation of education, not only improving academic quality, but also shaping a young generation that is socially competent and ready to face the challenges of the 21st century. This study recommends the importance of collaboration between education stakeholders, improving teachers' competencies and developing a contextualized digital curriculum as part of a long-term strategy in realizing quality and sustainable basic education

Abstract

The development of digital technology has given birth to a new generation characterized by visual, interactive learning, and integration with digital media. Generation Z requires a religious education approach that is adaptive to their learning style, especially in transmitting the value of monotheism as the core of Islamic teachings. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of digital educational games in transmitting the value of monotheism to elementary school students. The approach used was a qualitative case study method at one of the Islamic Elementary Schools in South Jakarta that applies digital media in Islamic Religious Education learning. Data collection techniques were carried out through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that educational games based on the value of monotheism are able to create an immersive and reflective learning experience, as well as improve students' spiritual understanding cognitively and affectively. Visual narratives, moral challenges, and interactivity in the game become effective means of internalizing values that are relevant to the characteristics of Generation Z. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of integrating religious content and technology in transformative learning design. The transmission of the value of monotheism through digital educational games has proven to be an innovative strategy in grounding spiritual values in the digital era full of ideological and cultural challenges.
