The objective of this research is to find out about the significant effect of the use of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) cooperative learning technique on the learning result of Social Science subject of the 5th grade students of Semen Padang Elementary School No1. The type of research used in quasi-experiment using the design of non-equivalent control group design. The samples of this study were students of the 5th grader in 5A and 5B class of Semen Padang Elementary School No1. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling. At the 5% significance level, the analysis result of the hypothesis test have obtained tcalculation> ttable (2.44> 1.67). Based on the study results, it is concluded that there is a significant effect on the use of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) cooperative learning technique on the students learning results in the social science subject. Integrated thematic learning outcomes in elementary school are very low, to overcome these problems an effective approach is needed. This study aims to describe the improvement of integrated thematic learning outcomes using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model at SDN Padang City. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subject of this study were the teacher and grade IVB students at SDN Padang City with a total of 33 people consisting of 17 men and 16 women. Data are analyzed using qualitative and quantitative approaches. This research was conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of this study are : in cycle 1 the average implementation of learning aspects of teachers is 82,14% and aspects of students are 78,56%. In cycle II the average implementation of learning aspects of teachers is 92,85% and students aspects are 92,85%. Cycle I student learning outcomes is 73 and cycle II student learning outcomes are 93. It can be concluded that by using Problem Based Learning (PBL) models can improve integrated thematic learning outcomes in SDN Padang City.

The research aims to find out and describe the improvement of students’ social science learning outcomes by using the problem based learning modelat 4th grade of SD Semen Padang 1. The design of the reserch was class action research using both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subject were the teacher and 4th grade students of the school. The research result on each cycle shows some improvements. In term of the lesson plans, the score increased from 73.21% in cycle I to 92.85% cycle II. Meanwhile, in term of the teacher’s aspect, the score increased from 74.99% in cycle I to 92.85% in cycle II. In term of the student’s aspect, the score increased from 73.21% in cycle I to 92.85% in cycle II. Finally, the score of the student’s learning outcomes increased form 77,41 in cycle I to 92.73 in cycle II. Thus, it can be concluded that the problem based learning model successfully improves student’s social science learning outcomes.Keywords : Learning Outcomes, Problem Based Learning, Social Science

This study aims to determine the relationship between interest in learning with student mathematics learning outcomes in class IV SDN Cluster-II Ampek Angkek District Agam Regency. This type of research is correlational research using a quantitative approach. The sample of this study was all students of class IV SDN 15 Ampang Gadang, Ampek Angkek District, Agam Regency as many as 30 students. The results of research data calculations using the Product Moment formula with the acquisition r count of 0.4145 is greater than the r table with the dedree of freedom (df) 28 of 0.361 at a significance level of 0.05 (5%) and the r count of 0.4145 lies at (≥0.40 - <0.70) which means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so the hypothesis shows a significant relationship between Learning Interest with Mathematics Learning Outcomes of Grade IV students of Elementary Schools in Cluster II, Ampek Angkek District.

The objective of this study is to find out the effect of quantum reading strategy on the intensive reading ability of 4th-grade students of state-owned Elementary School No.10 Bandar Buat, Padang. This study used a quantitative approach in the form of a quasi-experimental design. The research design of this study is the non-equivalent posttest-only control group design and the sampling technique is saturation sampling. Based on the analysis results of the hypothesis test with the significance level of 5%, it was found that tcalculation > ttable (2,95995 > 1,67155). It is concluded that the quantum reading strategy has a significant effect on the intensive reading ability of 4th-grade students at state-owned Elementary School No.10 Bandar Buat, Padang.Keywords: quantum reading, intensive reading, elementary school students

This research goals is to description enhancement fractional learning outcomes using realistic mathematical education approach (PMR) in class IV SDN 21 Pakan Sinayan. This type of research is Classroom Action Research with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research subjects were teachers and 20 students in class IV SDN 21 Pakan Sinayan. The study was conducted in two cycles the first cycle two meetings and the second cycle one meeting. The result showed an increase, result of observed learning plans of the first cycle 80% increased in the second cycle to 92% (AB), observations of teachers the first cycle 79% (B) increased in the second cycle to 93% ( AB), observations of student the first cycle 73% (B) increased in the second cycle to 90%, and the average assessment of student learning outcomes the first cycle 74 increased in the second cycle to 88. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK) using qualitative and quantitative approaches. Held in two cycles, the first cycle consisted of 2 meetings, and the second cycle consisted of 1 meeting. The subjects of the study were 26 fourth grade students of SDN 21 Taluak, Banuhampu Subdistrict. The results showed an increase. The study was conducted in two cycles. The results of the first cycle study on lesson plans averaged 81,25% (B), increasing in the second cycle to 96,8% (SB). The implementation of the first cycle on teacher activities averaged 87,5% (B), increasing in the second cycle to 96,4% (SB). The implementation of the first cycle on student activities averaged 87,5% (B), increasing in the second cycle to 96,42% (SB). Student learning outcomes in the first cycle averaged80,6% (B), increasing in the second cycle to 88,2% (SB) Thus, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning model can improve student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning in elementary schools.

The purpose of this research is to describe the improvement of narrative writing skill by using experiental learning models at grade V student of Elementary School. The type of research is PTK by using qualitative and quantitative approach. This research was conducted at SD Negeri35 Parak Karakah, Padang city with a total of 22 students consisting of 10 male students and 12 female students. The result of the narrative writing skill in the pre-writing at cycle I 57,8 (C) increases on cycle II 87,5 (SB). The writing phase in the first cycle 48,8 (K), increased in the second cycle 79,7 (B), the post-writing phase cycle I 58,3 (C) increases in cycle II 84,3 (B). The research objective IPA describe the learning outcome with model Problem Bassed Learning in SDN 05 Bandar Buat grades IV. This research is a classroom action research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. His research interests of teachers and students of SDN 05 Bandar Buat grades IV. The results of the study the implementation of learning (aspects of teachers and students) the first cycle of the average value of percentage 75%(Good) and 77,5% (Very Good), the second cycle of the average value of percentage 87,5% (Very Good) and 92,5% (Very Good). The results of student learning first cycle the average value of percentage 72.54% (Good) and the second cycle the average value of percentage 87,9% % (Very Good).

This study aims to describe the application of the Jigsaw Cooperative model to improve mathematics learning outcomes in circumference and area of plane figure in fourth grade of Elementary School. The type of this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research subjects were teachers and 30 students in the fourth grade of elementary school 15 Koto Lalang. The results of this study showed an improvement the outcomes of mathematics learning. The result of the lesson plan in the first cycle was 82.14% to 94.36% in the second cycle. The result of observation for teacher and student aspects in the first cycle was 77.78% to 90.28% in the second cycle. The assessment of mathematical learning outcomes of students in the first cycle was about 71.51 to 83.07 in the second cycle.
