Abstract

Human Resources (HR) is an important aspect in an organization or company, having quality human resources will make a company grow further in facing various existing business competitions, and vice versa. One of the factors that is very influential in HR is a discipline factor. Work discipline can be seen as having great benefits, both for the interests of the organization and for employees. For organizations, the existence of work discipline will ensure the maintenance of order and smooth implementation of tasks, so that optimal results are obtained. Apart from work discipline, an employee's work stress will certainly influence a company's performance. If stress is high it will further reduce performance and vice versa. This research aims to see whether There is The influence of work discipline and work stress on employee performance at PT Garuda Indonesia, with using the Multiple Linear Regression Analysis method with the help of the SPSS program. Based on the analysis and discussion, it is concluded that work discipline has a positive influence on employee performance, while work stress has a negative influence on employee performance. Therefore, it can be interpreted that work discipline must be maintained and improved, while work stress must be reduced. Key words: Employee Performance, Work Discipline, and Work Stress

Abstract

PT Muliaglass Container Division is a subsidiary of PT Mulia Industrindo, Tbk which is engaged in the glass industry by producing flat glass, glass block, glass packaging, and automotive safety glass as a result of its production. PT Muliaglass Container Division was founded in 1989. The quality control carried out by PT Muliaglass Container Division experienced problems in the Quality Control section or checking checkers, resulting in the defect pass rate so far exceeding the tolerance limits set by the company. There are several types of product defects in glass bottle packaging at PT Muliaglass Container Division, namely Check Ring, Check Under Ring, Leaner, Hot Mold Check, and others. To overcome the problems encountered, research is needed using the Quality Control Circle Method and Statistical Quality Control which are used to calculate how big the reasonable limit is in the product pass rate. After processing Statistical Quality Control data and knowing the number of acceptable quality labels for passing controlled defects or not, proceed with the Quality Control Circle Method, to find out what causes product defects to pass.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine, find and describe the phenomenon or problems of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) at PT UBJ Logistik. This study is motivated by the importance of human resources in carrying out work. K3 is an effort to create a safe and healthy work environment forĀ  workers, with the aimĀ  of preventing work accidents, occupational diseases, and increasing work productivity. The purpose of this study is to determine the obstacles in the implementation of K3, to find solutions and overcome obstacles in the implementation of K3. This writing method uses qualitative descriptive, namely presenting a description of the problem or a certain condition without any special treatment of the object being studied. Data collection techniques are carried out using observation, interview and documentation techniques. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the implementation of K3 carried out by PT UBJ Logistik is not good enough in implementing K3, because the K3 regulations applied by the company are not strict enough so that employees pay less attention to the importance of K3.
