Abstract

Located in Kelurahan Belawan I, Kecamatan Medan Belawan, Kampung Nelayan Lingkungan XII is a coastal area where the community primarily engages in fishing, boat rental services, and producing shrimp paste (terasi) from small shrimp (udang rebon). Observations and discussions with Kelompok Usaha Lestari, a local group dedicated to shrimp paste production, revealed that traditional methods, such as using mortars and pestles, are still prevalent. This manual process significantly limits production capacity and results in inconsistent product quality that deteriorates quickly over time. This Community Partnership Program (PKM) aims to address these issues by improving production efficiency and enhancing product quality through the integration of appropriate technology. The initiative includes the provision of a grinding machine tailored for processing small shrimp, training on product standardization, and continuous guidance to ensure effective use of the technology. The implementation of this technological solution has proven effective in increasing production capacity and ensuring higher consistency and quality of the shrimp paste. These improvements enable Kelompok Usaha Lestari to compete more effectively in the market and contribute to their long-term economic sustainability.

Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif pada matakuliah penggunaan dan pengaturan motor listrik. Pengembangan media interaktif ini bertujuan untuk menyediakan alternatif media pembelajaran yang dapat memfasilitasi mahasiswa untuk belajar secara aktif, kreatif dan mandiri tanpa adanya keterbatasan ruang, waktu ataupun adanya pendidik. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahapan utama yaitu: (1) Analisis, (2) Perancangan, (3) Pengembangan dan (4) Implementasi dan (5) Evaluasi. Rancangan desain multimedia pembelajaran interaktif dibuat dengan menggunakan software Adobe Flash. Dalam penelitian ini, teknis analisis data yang digunakan yaitu teknik analisis deskriptif yaitu mendeskripsikan tingkat validitas produk yang dihasilkan. Berdasarkan hasil keseluruhan validasi ahli materi memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 4,73, maka hasil validasi terhadap produk multimedia pembelajaran interaktif dari para ahli materi tersebut dikategorikan sangat baik. Hasil keseluruhan validasi ahli media memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 4,75, maka hasil validasi terhadap produk multimedia pembelajaran interaktif dari para ahli media tersebut dikategorikan sangat baik. Kata Kunci: Multimedia Pembelajaran Interaktif, Motor Listrik, Model ADDIE   Abstract: This study aims to develop interactive multimedia learning in the course of using and regulating electric motors. The development of interactive media aims to provide alternative learning media that can facilitate students to learn actively, creatively and independently without any limitations of space, time or the presence of educators. This study uses the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 main stages, namely: (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development and (4) Implementation and (5) Evaluation. The interactive learning multimedia design design is made using Adobe Flash software. In this study, the technical data analysis used is a descriptive analysis technique, which describes the level of validity of the product produced. Based on the overall validation results of material experts obtained an average of 4.73, the validation results of interactive learning multimedia products from these material experts are categorized as very good. Abstract

This research aims to create a learning multimedia application that can be used by students in learning. The method used is development research from Jan Van De Akker with formative evaluation from Martin Tessmer. The research stage consists of four stages, namely the preliminary research stage, prototype, summative evaluation, and systematic reflection and documentation. Based on user assessment, the learning multimedia is practical to use with a practicality level of 83% and is included in the good category. The effectiveness of multimedia at the summative evaluation stage is based on the post-test results. The results of the student posttest stated that 9 out of 12 students scored ≥75, meaning that 75% of the participants passed and this multimedia is effective. The results showed that the learning multimedia application can improve the higher-order thinking skills of students.

Abstract

The increasing penetration of photovoltaic (PV) generation in modern distribution networks introduces considerable uncertainty due to the inherently fluctuating nature of solar irradiance. These fluctuations directly affect PV output power, resulting in significant variations in bus voltages, feeder currents, and power losses. Traditional deterministic load flow (DLF) analysis, which assumes fixed PV generation, is unable to capture this stochastic behavior and therefore may lead to inaccurate estimation of system conditions. This study presents a comparative assessment between deterministic load flow using the Backward–Forward Sweep (BFS) method and probabilistic load flow (PLF) based on Hong’s Two-Point Estimate Method (PEM) to evaluate the impact of solar irradiance variability on the performance of PV-integrated distribution networks. Solar irradiance data are statistically characterized to obtain the mean and variance, which are then propagated into PV output power through a linear irradiance–power conversion model. The IEEE 34-bus radial distribution system is used as the test network, with multiple PV units installed at selected buses. The results show that deterministic analysis underestimates voltage deviations and fails to capture the range of power losses induced by PV uncertainty. In particular, the deterministic BFS solution yields a single operating point with real and reactive losses of 0.1582 MW and 0.0479 MVar, whereas the probabilistic 2PEM produces mean losses of 0.105 MW and 0.031 MVar with standard deviations of 0.057 MW and 0.016 MVar, respectively. In contrast to the fixed deterministic voltage curve, probabilistic voltage profiles form a bounded envelope around it, indicating non-negligible downstream voltage variability driven by irradiance fluctuations. Overall, the findings confirm that solar irradiance variability substantially influences distribution system performance, and incorporating probabilistic assessment is essential for more realistic, risk-informed planning and operation of PV-integrated distribution systems.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk membantu kelompok Nelayan Bahagia di Kelurahan Belawan 1, Kecamatan Medan Belawan dengan memberikan solusi terhadap permasalahan yang dihadapi, seperti rendahnya hasil tangkapan ikan akibat sarana yang kurang memadai. Solusi yang ditawarkan meliputi penerapan sistem kelistrikan dan alat navigasi fishfinder yang dapat membantu tempat tempat ikan berkumpul. Program ini akan dilaksanakan melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan, dan evaluasi keberlanjutan program. Metode yang digunakan mencakup pendekatan partisipatif dengan pelibatan langsung mitra dalam setiap tahap kegiatan, serta pendampingan berkelanjutan untuk memastikan keberlanjutan program. Dari hasil uji coba menunjukkan dalam penggunaan fishfinder, waktu operasional nelayan di laut dapat dipangkas hingga 25%, dan nelayan melaporkan peningkatan hasil tangkapan harian sebesar 20–25% dibandingkan sebelum penggunaan alat. Penerapan sistem kelistrikan dan navigasi fishfinder tidak hanya meningkatkan efisiensi energi dan hasil tangkapan, tetapi juga memberikan dampak sosial-ekonomi berkelanjutan bagi nelayan tradisional. Efisiensi bahan bakar menekan biaya operasional, sedangkan peningkatan hasil tangkapan memperbaiki kesejahteraan ekonomi. Pada sisi sosial, teknologi ini meningkatkan keselamatan, pengetahuan, dan solidaritas antar nelayan.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Desa Sampali, Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, dengan tujuan meningkatkan produktivitas dan nilai ekonomi pisang Cavendish melalui penerapan teknologi kultur jaringan. Latar belakang kegiatan ini berangkat dari kondisi petani lokal yang masih mengandalkan metode budidaya konvensional dengan bibit yang tidak seragam dan rentan penyakit, sehingga produktivitas dan kualitas hasil panen rendah. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) yang menekankan keterlibatan aktif petani dalam seluruh proses, meliputi tahap persiapan, pelatihan, implementasi, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Pelatihan yang diberikan mencakup pembuatan bibit unggul berbasis kultur jaringan, pengelolaan hama terpadu, pengemasan produk, dan strategi pemasaran digital. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam aspek pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani, dengan rata-rata peningkatan pemahaman mencapai 85%. Bibit hasil kultur jaringan menunjukkan tingkat keberhasilan tumbuh sebesar 92% di lapangan, sementara produktivitas lahan meningkat hingga 32% dibandingkan metode sebelumnya. Selain itu, pendapatan petani meningkat sebesar 22% berkat optimalisasi hasil panen dan diversifikasi produk olahan pisang. Kegiatan ini juga memperkuat jejaring kerja sama antara kelompok tani, koperasi desa, dan pelaku usaha lokal. Secara keseluruhan, penerapan teknologi kultur jaringan terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan efisiensi produksi, kemandirian petani, dan keberlanjutan ekonomi lokal di Desa Sampali.

This study is dedicated to the creation of geometry transformation learning media through the utilization of Mobile-Based App Inventor and a subsequent comprehensive evaluation of its influence on student academic performance. The research adopts a meticulously structured Research and Development (R&D) methodology, encompassing critical stages such as analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The culmination of this research journey unveils compelling evidence that underscores the transformative potential of the developed learning media. Through quantitative and qualitative assessments, this study unearths a significant enhancement in students' grasp of the intricate concepts inherent to geometry transformation. The outcomes of this research illuminate the pivotal role of technology, particularly the Mobile-Based App Inventor, in shaping contemporary pedagogical landscapes. The learning media serves as a testament to the symbiotic relationship between innovation and education, offering an engaging and effective resource to empower students in their quest for mathematical proficiency and analytical prowess.
