Abstract

Chest physiotherapy is a nursing action performed to clean the lungs from secretions. The purpose of this study was to describe changes in breathing sounds and breathing frequency before and after chest physiotherapy. The study design used a descriptive research design with a sample of 11 people. Data collection using questionnaire sheets and observation. The results showed that the average breathing frequency in COPD patients before and after chest physiotherapy visits I to visit III decreased by 11 points, from 31x / minute to 20x / minute, and the lobe location occurred with additional breathing sounds, ronkhi before and after chest physiotherapy, on visit I to visit III it dropped by two points, from three lobes or 46% (5 patients) to one lobe, 78% (7 patients). Chest physiotherapy on being able to increase secret expenditure. The implementation of chest physiotherapy should be done 2x/day in order to obtain maximum results.

Abstract

Hipoglikemia merupakan salah satu komplikasi yang harus diperhatikan pada pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 karena menjadi suatu penyebab kematian terutama pada usia lansia sehingga harus diketahui faktor yang memengaruhi hipoglikemia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui tentang faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi hipoglikemia pada pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Literatur Review dengan desain Tradisional Review yang pencariannya melalui database Google Scholar, Pubmed, dan Science Direct yang ditemukan 6 artikel dengan kriteria inklusi artikel terbitan 6 tahun terakhir (2015-2021), fulltext, menggunakan kata kunci Faktor Risiko or Risk Factor, Hipoglikemia or Hypoglycemia, Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 or Type 2 Diabetes. Penelususan literatur menggunakan PEOS (P= pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 dengan hipoglikemia, E= tidak ada, O= faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi hipoglikemia, S= Cross Sectional, Case-Control, dan Cohort). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan faktor yang memengaruhi hipoglikemia meliputi, jenis kelamin, pekerjaan, pendidikan, usia, sikap, pengetahuan, BMI yang rendah, terapi insulin+sulfonylurea+anti hiperglikemik agen, monitoring gula darah mandiri, HDL-C, LDL-C, TG, durasi lamanya diabetes, adanya infeksi dan komorbid, olahraga yang berlebih, HbA1c, dan pola makan. Kesimpulannya, faktor sikap paling dominan karena ketika seseorang menerima hal baru maka ia akan menyikapinya dengan positif atau pun negatif sehingga akan menimbulkan terjadinya suatu perilaku tertentu. Saran bagi penderita hipoglikemia agar menjaga kesehatan, rutin kontrol, dan kebugaran diri serta pada fasilitas kesehatan perlu diadakan edukasi untuk mencegah risiko dan tanda gejala penyakit hipoglikemia.

Abstract

Hipertensi merupakan penyakit katastropik kardiovaskuler yang mengancam nyawa dan membutuhkan perawatan jangka lama. Rendahnya motivasi seorang lansia penderita hipertensi untuk melakukan pengendalian tekanan darah dapat menyebabkan komplikasi dan penurunan status kesehatan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan motivasi pengendalian tekanan darah pada lansia penderita hipertensi. Desain penelitian adalah cross sectional. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 105 lansia dengan jumlah 84 responden penelitian yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Uji Analisa data menggunakan uji univariat dan bivariat. Uji analisis univariat mendeskripsikan usia, jenis kelamin, lama minum obat, jumlah obat yang dikonsumsi dan klasifikasi hipertensi pada responden. Uji bivariat data menggunakan uji uji rank spearman test. Hasil penelitian adanya hubungan faktor dukungan keluarga dengan motivasi tekanan darah dengan nilai p value 0,000. Motivasi yang tinggi pada lansia penderita hipertensi dalam melakukan pengendalian tekanan darah berhubungan dengan dukungan keluarga, dimana lansia tersebut akan mempersepsikan bahwa penyakitnya akan dapat mengancam nyawanya, sehingga pandangan itu dapat meningkatkan motivasi dalam pengendalian tekanan darah.

Abstract

Hypertension is a non-communicable disease that kills silently. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of slow stroke back massage on blood pressure and pulse in hypertension sufferers aged 45-54 years in Blitar City. This research uses a quantitative type of research with a pre-experimental research design with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design approach. The samples taken were hypertension sufferers aged 45-54 years who underwent examinations at the Blitar City Health Center UPTD with a sample size of 30 respondents, and sampling used purposive sampling. This research instrument uses a digital sphygmomanometer and oximetry. SSBM is carried out for 15 minutes with 2 massages for 2 weeks which aims to reduce blood pressure and pulse in hypertension sufferers. The data was processed descriptively and continued with the Paired t Test. The results show that the average systolic pressure before is 154.70, the average diastole before is 90.23, the average pulse before is 86.67, and the average systolic pressure after is 152.13, the average diastole after is 88.23, the average pulse after is 84.03. The results of statistical tests using the Paired t Test show a value of P=0.000 (p<0.05), so there is a significant difference in the blood pressure and pulse values before and after. The results of the research show that there is a decreasing effect on blood pressure and pulse before and after being given Slow Stroke Back Massage therapy and can be used as a non-pharmacological therapy at the Blitar City Health Center UPTD for hypertension sufferers.

Abstract

Work fatigue in operating room nurses is a critical issue that affects nurse performance and patient safety. Nurses who are exhausted show symptoms such as reduced activity levels, decreased motivation, sleep disturbances and difficulty concentrating. This condition has an impact on the quality of work of operating room nurses and is dangerous for patients. The purpose of this study to analyze the relationship between work fatigue and sleep quality among operating room nurses. This quantitative study utilized a correlational design, involving 20 respondents selected through a total sampling technique, comprising all operating room nurses at Karsa Husada Hospital Batu. Data analysis was conducted using a Spearman Rank Correlational test. The study found moderate levels of work fatigue and poor sleep quality among the participants. There is a significant relationship between work fatigue and sleep quality, with a p-value of 0.001 and r = 0.682, indicating a strong and positive correlation. This means that increased work fatigue resulting in poor sleep quality. Excessive activity in operating room nurses leads to work fatigue, resulting in poor sleep quality. It is recommended that operating room management adjust shift schedules according to worker capacity and provide adequate rest periods to reduce fatigue and improve sleep quality

Abstract

Self Monitoring of Blood Glucose is an examination of blood sugar carried out by patient themselves. The purpose of this study is to decribe the implementation of the Self Monitoring of Blood Glucose. The study design with a sample of 30 people. Questionnaire and observation are used for data collection. The result showed that patients who performed Self Monitoring of Blood Glucose were 50% (15 patients) (n=30) had a blood sugar profile in the normal range when fasting blood sugar was 53% (8 patients) and 2 haours post prandial were 73% (11 patients) with a place of execution at home and health services as much as 47% (14 patients). The purpose of this Carlsen study is to help patient to control their blood sugar profile.

Abstract

Unmanaged diabetes can lead to various serious complications, one of which was the occurrence of diabetic foot ulcers. When patients experienced diabetic ulcers, it triggered anxiety. The aimed of this study was to determine the anxiety levels of diabetic patients with diabetic foot ulcers. The design of this study used a descriptive quantitative design with a population of 30 inpatients in the Wijaya Kusuma ward at Dr. Soedono Hospital, Madiun. The sampling used in this study was total sampling, and the method used to measure anxiety in this study was the “Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale” (HARS), conducted from April 29 to May 4, 2024. The results found that more than half of the patients were female, and patients with anxiety levels were entirely in the severe anxiety category, with a small portion of patients aged 51-70 years experiencing severe anxiety. The study results showed that there was mild to severe anxiety in diabetic patients with diabetic foot ulcers, which was related to factors such as age, wound severity, and patient age. With this research, it was expected that healthcare professionals, especially doctors, nurses, and also the patients' families, could provide support and motivation to the patients to prevent excessive anxiety

Abstract

Nurses in the operating room feel that they lack concentration in carrying out surgery because fatigue during emergency operations can result in increased work stress. The process of adaptation is a way that affects behavior in managing stress. The purpose of the study was to prove that there is a relationship between the ability of the adaptation process according to Callista Roy's theory in nurses with work stress in the operating room of Mardi Waluyo Hospital Blitar. This research method is quantitative using a cross-sectional design. The study sample was 28 nurses in the operating room with the total sampling technique. The independent variable of adaptability of the adaptation process was measured with the questionnaire sheet and the dependent variable of work stress was measured with the DASS 42 questionnaire sheet. Data analysis using Spearman test. The research results show that the ability of the adaptation process was mostly moderate in 17 people (60.7%) and work stress was almost half that of normal stress in 12 people (42.9%). The conclusion is there is a significant relationship between the ability of the adaptation process and nurses' work stress with a p-value of 0.001≤0.05 meaning that there is a significant relationship between the ability of the adaptation process with work stress in nurses in the operating room, the direction of the relationship from r count -0.577* is strongly correlated with the direction of negative relationships, meaning that the increasing adaptability the lower the level of work stress.

Abstract

Chronic complications of diabetes mellitus was the most common autonomic neuropathy resulted in sexual dysfunction. The aim of research was to described the sexual dysfunction in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at Poli Penyakit Dalam Mardi Waluyo Hospital Blitar. The research method used descriptive design. The population in this study were patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus who visited in poli penyakit dalam in Mardi Waluyo Hospital Blitar in April as many as 856 people, and a sample of 86 people were taken using purposive sampling technique. Collecting data used the FSFI questionnaire for womens and IIEF for mens. These results indicate that the majority of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus sexual dysfunction. In patients 75% of women experience sexual dysfunction. At 74% of men with erectile dysfunction, 88% experienced orgasm dysfunction, 85% experienced sexual desire dysfunction, 86% experienced a satisfying sexual dysfunction, 89% overall satisfaction dysfunction. The suggestion in this research was expected FSFI and IIEF questionnaire could be used as a tool to monitor the presence of sexual dysfunction in Blitar.

Abstract

The Interdialysis Weight Gain more than 5 % of weight dry can result in negative towards patients of them hypotension , edema , shortness of breath , lightheaded and can lead to the death .Research objectives is to find interdialysis weight gain in Chronic Kidney Disease Patients. A method in this research use descriptive design .Population in this study all patients of chronic kidney disease who get hemodialisa in installation hemodialisa RSD mardi waluyo blitar are 89 peoples , uses the technique total population. Data collection is performed by measuring weight patients after hemodialisa ago and before hemodialisa next .This research result that weight gain between the two time lightweight hemodialysis 60,7%, 12,4% on average, and 26,9% of danger . Extra weight category of danger caused because patients do not adhere to diet. Recommendations from the study is expected to become an evaluation for installation hemodialisa RSD Mardi Waluyo Blitar to increase intervention on patients who get hemodialisa .
