Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi dosen dan mahasiswa terhadap pendidikan inklusif di STIT Tanggamus. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar dosen dan mahasiswa memiliki pandangan positif terhadap pendidikan inklusif dan memahami pentingnya memberikan kesempatan belajar yang setara bagi semua individu, termasuk mahasiswa berkebutuhan khusus. Namun, terdapat beberapa tantangan dalam implementasi pendidikan inklusif, seperti keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana, kurangnya pelatihan bagi dosen, serta kesulitan dalam menyesuaikan metode pembelajaran yang inklusif. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi yang lebih komprehensif, termasuk peningkatan fasilitas, pelatihan bagi tenaga pengajar, serta pengembangan kurikulum yang lebih adaptif guna memastikan keberhasilan pendidikan inklusif di lingkungan perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

This research aimed to understand the opinions of first-year students at STIT Tanggamus regarding the most suitable English-speaking material for their studies. Questionnaires were distributed to 20 respondents. The results showed that 60% of the students recognized the importance of speaking in daily conversations. 40% of them felt that they lacked proficiency in grammar and required more discussion activities to improve. Additionally, 50% of the students believed that music would be a valuable tool for learning to speak English. The findings indicate that STIT Tanggamus students have specific needs regarding English-speaking content. Therefore, the institution must provide appropriate materials and resources to address these needs. The research raises questions about the effectiveness of English-speaking material in enhancing students' language skills and the specific learning needs of STIT Tanggamus students regarding speaking skills.

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of gap-fill activities employing English song lyrics in boosting listening skills, vocabulary acquisition, and motivation among adult learners at STIT Tanggamus. Utilizing a qualitative case study technique, the research collects data through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, and questionnaires to measure learners’ involvement and impressions of this novel teaching style. The findings demonstrate that integrating familiar songs dramatically enhances learners’ language skills and confidence while promoting a collaborative and joyful learning environment. However, problems such as picking good music and handling initial learner concern underline the necessity for careful implementation. The study suggests that song-based activities can be a valuable instrument in adult language education, bringing practical insights for curriculum creation and teaching practices.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of parents in increasing the learning interest of class students at SDN 1 Air Bakoman, Pulau Panggung District, Tanggamus Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method with data collection techniques using observations, interviews and field notes. In this study the researchers concluded that the role of parents in children's learning interest is very large, especially if the learning process is carried out at home. Parents who help the school in delivering subject matter and doing daily assignments and tests act as motivators so that children are not lazy, so that their achievements will continue to grow and improve.

Abstract

This comparative theoretical analysis investigates major language acquisition models to understand how children under five acquire language. Early language development is crucial for cognitive and social growth, yet existing literature lacks a focused comparative analysis of these models for this specific age group. This study aims to describe dominant theoretical models, analyze their core assumptions, mechanisms, and relevance to early childhood language development, and evaluate their strengths and limitations. Employing qualitative library research and comparative analysis, data was collected from seminal works by Skinner (behaviorist), Chomsky (nativist), Piaget (cognitive), Vygotsky (social interactionist), and Tomasello (usage-based), alongside peer-reviewed journals and scholarly books from 1960 to 2025. Findings indicate that no single model fully explains all facets of language acquisition in young children. Behaviorism highlights environmental reinforcement, nativism emphasizes innate linguistic structures, cognitive theory links language to general intellectual development, social interactionism stresses the role of social context and scaffolding, and usage-based models focus on pattern-finding and communicative intentions. The comparative approach reveals complementary strengths, suggesting that integrated, multidimensional frameworks are most effective for understanding and supporting early language development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji strategi yang digunakan oleh guru dalam mengintegrasikan pendidikan karakter melalui pendekatan sosial-emosional di sekolah dasar. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi kasus, penelitian ini melibatkan observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan analisis dokumen untuk menggali pengalaman guru dan siswa. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan seperti diskusi kelompok, role-playing, dan refleksi harian efektif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter seperti empati, kerja sama, dan tanggung jawab. Meskipun demikian, terdapat beberapa tantangan dalam implementasinya, seperti keterbatasan waktu, kurangnya dukungan orang tua, dan perbedaan latar belakang siswa. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya pelatihan guru khusus, dukungan kolaboratif dari berbagai pihak, serta penelitian lebih lanjut untuk penerapan pendidikan karakter di jenjang pendidikan lainnya.

Abstract

The digital era has significantly influenced the framework of character education, necessitating the integration of technology to enhance students' moral development. This library research explores the conceptual framework of character education in the digital age, emphasizing the role of technology in shaping students' ethical reasoning and behavior. Findings indicate that innovative tools such as gamification, virtual simulations, and personalized e-learning platforms provide engaging ways to teach moral values. However, challenges such as reduced interpersonal interactions, misinformation, and digital distractions pose risks that require balanced solutions. This study highlights the importance of incorporating media literacy and digital ethics to ensure technology complements traditional character education.

Abstract

Multiculturalism in elementary education is essential for fostering inclusivity and tolerance in increasingly diverse societies. This study examines inclusive strategies for implementing multicultural education to cultivate understanding, empathy, and social harmony among students. Utilizing a qualitative approach with a literature review methodology, data was collected from scholarly sources, including academic journals and policy reports. The findings highlight the effectiveness of culturally responsive curricula, teacher training in multicultural competence, and the use of interactive media in enhancing students’ engagement and respect for diversity. However, challenges such as limited resources, inadequate teacher training, and attitudinal barriers persist. This study underscores the need for collaborative efforts to overcome these challenges and ensure the successful integration of multicultural principles in elementary education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas efektivitas penggunaan video animasi sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif di sekolah dasar melalui studi pustaka. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa video animasi mampu meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep abstrak, meningkatkan motivasi belajar, dan memperkuat keterlibatan dalam proses pembelajaran. Keunggulan utama video animasi terletak pada visualisasi yang menarik, integrasi elemen multimodal, serta fleksibilitas akses untuk pembelajaran mandiri. Meskipun, beberapa tantangan seperti ketergantungan pada infrastruktur teknologi dan minimnya interaksi dua arah masih menjadi kendala dalam penerapannya. Untuk mengoptimalkan manfaatnya, diperlukan strategi seperti segmentasi materi, integrasi dengan aktivitas hands-on, serta pemanfaatan fitur interaktif guna mencegah cognitive overload. Dengan demikian, video animasi dapat menjadi solusi inovatif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di tingkat pendidikan dasar.

Abstract

The transition from higher education to the professional world presents a significant challenge for final-year students. One crucial factor contributing to career readiness is self-efficacy, which refers to an individual's belief in their ability to perform specific tasks. This study reviews the relationship between self-efficacy and career readiness based on existing literature. The analysis reveals that students with higher levels of self-efficacy demonstrate greater career readiness, increased confidence in career decision-making, and a more proactive approach to exploring job opportunities. These findings emphasize the importance of strengthening self-efficacy through higher education and career counseling services to enhance students’ preparedness for entering the workforce.
