Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of an Interactive Number Stacking Game in improving elementary school students’ understanding of the number system, particularly place value concepts. The research employed a quantitative descriptive approach using a one-group pretest–posttest design. The subjects consisted of 34 fourth-grade students at SDN Jadi 2 in the 2024/2025 academic year. Data were collected through pretest and posttest instruments, student response questionnaires, and classroom observations. The pretest and posttest scores were analyzed descriptively to identify learning improvement, while questionnaire data were analyzed using percentage-based descriptive statistics. The results showed that the average pretest score was 81.47, which increased to 85.88 in the posttest, indicating a learning improvement of 5.42%. Based on the assessment criteria, student performance improved from the “Good” category to the “Very Good” category. In addition, questionnaire results revealed that students responded positively to the use of the Interactive Number Stacking Game, demonstrating high levels of interest and engagement during the learning process. Observational data further supported these findings, showing increased student participation and active involvement. These findings indicate that the Interactive Number Stacking Game is effective as an alternative learning media to support students’ conceptual understanding of place value in elementary mathematics learning.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of use of learning media in mathematics learning, which causes students' interest in learning and activeness to remain low, thus affecting students' learning outcomes. The aim of this research is to develop learning media for Android-based App-Builder Online "Appypie" that is valid, practical, and effective so that it can be used in mathematics learning, especially in linear programming material. This research is development research using the 4-D model, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The product developed in this research is an Android-based application. This research was carried out at SMKN 2 Tuban with the research subjects being 25 students of class XI-Accounting-2. The data collection instruments used were validation sheets, interview guidelines, observation sheets, and response questionnaires. Data analysis used was validation tests, practicality tests, and effectiveness tests. The validation results were 85.30% with a very valid category. The practicality test results were 89.75% in the very practical category. The effectiveness test results were 84% in the effective category. Based on the results of this research, it was concluded that the development of the online app builder "Appypie" produced a product in the form of Android-based learning media on Linear Program material which met the criteria of being valid, practical, and effective for use in mathematics learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how inclusive Islamic education plays a role in empowering Alpha women amidst the patriarchal culture of Tuban Regency society. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and documentation with six women active in the education, social, and public sectors, including Tuban Regency Tourism Ambassadors. The results show that Islamic spirituality is the main foundation for women's self-awareness and independence. Inclusive Islamic education serves as a space for identity negotiation, where women learn to interpret Islamic values in their social context and negotiate their position in the public sphere. The findings also show that the strategy for empowering women in Tuban is carried out through a socio-spiritual approach that emphasizes the values of wisdom and mercy, rather than confrontation. Inclusive Islamic education has proven to be able to foster critical awareness and leadership in women based on faith, knowledge, and morality.
