Abstract

The research?s general objective was to study and evaluate; the function, aesthetic and agronomical aspects of side street plants at Ijen Street, Malang. Plant evaluation was needed to optimize plant effectiveness on the side of the streets, in realizing the city?s road concept that gives fluentness, safety, and improving environmental street visual quality. This is important especially for the side street plants to fulfil architectural, functional, and aesthetical values for the city environment. There was a lack of functional effectiveness at the traffic island as a site, caused by none continuation of tree planting. At one segment of the street the trees where physical and visual barries causing the inconvenience of concealing clear view. All segments of Ijen Street don?t have the function of a collision buffer. There was a windbreak function created by plant settlement with a corridor form. Plant function as sun control was accommodated in all of the street segments. Generally, the plant cover function by the plants has not been completed. The erosion control was accommodated by plant settlement at the traffic island in the street of Ijen. Plants function as noise control and identity was fulfilled with the existence of Rhoistonia reggia along the street. Overall the plants of Ijen Street have a lot of functions that help the site to improve environmental quality. Assessment of the esthetic aspect obtained from the election of plants types and a planting plan revealed that improvement to support the development function was required, according to of plants as agronomy value the existing plants can support plants function and add esthetical value.

Abstract

Growth and tomato crop production influenced by the fertility of the land, which represents media grow the crop. Result of research indicates that usage of Ribon atom with the make-up of dose has an effect on positive to component growth of the crop, component produce and also fertility of the land. At the growth of crop posed at by is a high crop, wide leaf, PGR, LAI, LAD, and of LAR but dose 4 lt/ha not differ reality with dose 5 lt/ha and 6 lt/Ha. While component product that is the amount of fruit, heavy crop pear and pear weight set of wide, where dose 2 lt/ha does not differ reality with dose 3 lt/ha, 4/lt ha, 5 lt/ha and 6 lt/ha. As for its influence to the fertility of the land that is happened the make-up of contact of P available inland become to mount (Veri High).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of giving Kirinyu (Chromolaena odorata) as a source of organic matter on growth and yield of two varieties of Chilli (Capsicum annum), and to determine the optimum dose Kirinyu that can improve crop growth and yield of the Big Chilli, research was conducted in the Garden University College of Agriculture experiment Flore, Village Lokoboko, District Ndona, Ende with ± 500 meters altitude above sea level, starting in September 2010-April 2011. The design used in this study is the Group Randomized Factorial Design with the treatment, the first factor (V), and Varieties Amando (V2), and the second factor (K) is the dose of organic material Kirinyu namely K0 (without Kirinyu), K1 (Kirinyu10 tons/ha), K2 (Kirinyu 15 tons/ha), K3 (Kirinyu20 tonnes/ha). Variable observation in this study was ?Higher Plants, Number of Leaves, Leaf Area, Total Fruit, Fruit diameter and weight of fruit per plant?. The results showed that administration of doses as a source of organic material Kirinyu significant effect on the varieties (V) and different doses Kirinyu to Total Leaf, Leaf Area observations at age 42 days after transplanting (DAT), and also significantly influenced Number of  Fruit, Fruit Weight, and fruit diameter. Use of Hot Beauty varieties has increased to Total Leaf (21.67 strands), number of fruits (31.00 fruits), and fruit weight (279.00 grams) and more resistant to high rainfall intensity, and for variety  Amando has increased to broad leaves (187.02 cm), and fruit diameter (1.74 cm) and not resistant to rain intensity. But for Kirinyu dose also significantly influenced leaf number, leaf area at the age of 42 observation days after transplanting (DAT), and also significantly influenced fruit number, fruit weight and fruit diameter. Chili optimum plant growth is shown in the use Kirinyu a dose of 20 tonnes/ha ie number of leaves (19.23 strands), leaf area (208.25 cm), number of fruits (41.58), fruit weight (7.44 grams), fruit diameter (1.66 cm).

Abstract

Organic waste comes from pigswill livestock can used as a plant nutrient source. Organic material has a significant influence on agriculture productivity. Organic material added continually was an effective way to maintain soil health, it will provide soil organisms food, increasing available nutrient and maintain soil physic characteristic. Otherwise, organic waste added still not get an optimal result. That's why organic waste added from pigswill livestock and bio fund as activator was one of the alternative ways. This study was aimed to know pigswill livestock waste potential as organic material added on nutrient availability in order to improve plant productivity and the influence on plant production. This study consisted of two stages; i.e. the first study was soil incubation for 20 days, and the second was maize plant application. The method used was Complete Factorial Randomized design with 2 factors and 3 replicates. The results showed that pigswill livestock organic waste and bio fund will increase soil C, N, P, and K exchange. It happened especially on FIBl and F1B3 treatment; it marks with the increasing trend on every week. The highest production was found on F1B3 (256.63 plants"') and the lowest on FIBO (I I7.U plant').

Abstract

Abstrak: Permasalahan utama mitra adalah petani belum memahami pentingnya manajemen dan kreativitas dalam kegiatan usahatani dan cara menumbuhkannya. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani terhadap manajemen usahatani dan menumbuhkan kreativitas dalam kegiatan usahatani, serta menyusun rencana anggaran pembiayaan dan pendapatan dalam usahatani kakao. Mitra PkM adalah Kelompok Tani Moko Modhe yang berjumlah 19 orang. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan dan pelatihan. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui test awal dan test akhir untuk melihat kemampuan dasar peserta dan gambaran daya serap peserta. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi pada meningkatnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani tentang manajemen usahatani kakao, pentingnya kreativitas dalam kegiatan usahatani serta pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam menyususn anggaran pembiayaan dan pendapatan dalam usahatani kakao. Hal ini diketahui dari meningkatnya nilai persentase kemampuan dasar peserta sebesar 13%. Dengan demikian PkM yang dilaksanakan telah berdampak positif pada meningkatnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani sehingga mewujudkan masyarakat sejahtera dan terwujudnya visi Pemerintahan Desa Ondorea Barat. Abstract: The main problem with partners is that farmers do not understand the importance of management and creativity in farming activities and how to grow them. This activity aims to improve the knowledge and skills of farmers on farm management and foster creativity in farming activities, as well as to prepare a budget plan for financing and income in cocoa farming. PkM partners are the Moko Modhe Farmers Group, which consists of 19 people. The method used is counseling and training. Evaluation is carried out through a preliminary test and a final test to see the basic abilities of the participants and an overview of the absorption capacity of the participants. This activity contributes to increasing farmers' knowledge and skills about cocoa farming management, the importance of creativity in farming activities as well as knowledge and skills in preparing budgets for financing and income in cocoa farming. This is known from the increase in the percentage value of the basic ability of participants by 13%. Thus the PkM implemented has had a positive impact on increasing the knowledge and skills of farmers so as to create a prosperous society and the realization of the vision of the West Ondorea Village Government.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the growth and yield of baby corn due to the use of NPK Phonska, to determine the growth and yield of baby corn due to the spacing of the plants and to see the interaction between the use of NPK Phonska and the regulation of plant spacing on the growth and yield of baby corn plants. The design used in this study was a factorial randomized block design (RAK) with two factors, namely P1 (350 kg/Ha) and P2 (700 kg/Ha) and the second factor was plant spacing, namely J1 (50cm X 15cm), J2 (50cm X 20cm,) and J3 (50cm X 25 cm) so that there are 6 treatment combinations, namely: P1J1, P1J2, P1J3, P2J1, P2J2, P2J3 and repeated 3 times. The variables observed in this study were plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), leaf area (cm2), cob length, ear diameter, cob weight per plot, and cob weight per hectare. The indication of the results of this study is the combination treatment of Phonska NPK Fertilizer Application and Planting Distance there is no significant interaction on all growth variables and baby corn yields. Treatment of NPK Ponska fertilizer application 700 kg/Ha showed plant height 105 cm, number of leaves 7.41 strands, leaf area 1079.79 cm2, length of ear 12.26 cm, diameter of ear 1.70 cm, weight of cob per plot 2.54 kg and the weight of the cobs per hectare is 3.82 tons. Likewise, setting a spacing of 50x20 cm for baby corn shows a plant height of 105.86 cm, number of leaves 7.67, leaf area of ​​1310.79 cm2, length of cob 12.25 cm, diameter of cob 1.64 cm, the weight of the cobs per plot is 2.65 kg and the weight of the cobs per hectare is 3.98 tons Keywords: Baby Corn, growth, Phonska NPK, Plant Distance, yield

Abstract

Abstrak: Kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui pelaksanaan program pengabdian masyarakat dalam Program Desa Binaan (PDB) pada kelompok Fongasama di Desa Ondorea Barat dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan ketrampilan dan soft skill anggota kelompok melalui kegiatan pembangunan rumah kompos, penyuluhan dan Pelatihan pembuatan pupuk kompos. Metode yang digunakan terdiri dari penyuluhan, pelatihan dan pendampingan. Kegiatan diawali dengan pembangunan rumah kompos berukuran 4×6meter, dibagi dua bak untuk fermentasi. Bak pertama berukuran 1,5 x 2meter dan tinggi 2 meter, dan bak kedua berukuran 1,5 x 1,5meter dan tinggi 1,5 meter. Penyuluhan dan pelatihan dimulai dengan pre-test, dan rata-rata jawaban benar 33,3% dalam kategori rendah. Kegiatan pelatihan menggunakan alat pencacah, ember, sekop, cangkul, dan sekop, dan bahan baku yang digunakan kotoran hewan, dedak padi, sekam padi, limbah pertanian, gula pasir, EM4 dan air. Fermentasi pada bak pertama selama 14 hari dan pada bak kedua selama 8 hari. Kompos dikeluarkan dari bak kedua dan diangin-anginkan, selanjutnya diaplikasikan. Post-test dilakukan di akhir kegiatan dan hasilnya menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan sebesar 86,7% dengan kategori tinggi.Abstract: Community empowerment activities through the implementation of community service programs in the Assisted Village Program (PDB) in the Fongasama group in West Ondorea Village with the aim of improving the skills and soft skills of group members through activities of building compost houses, counseling and training in making compost fertilizer. The methods used consist of counseling, training and mentoring. The activity began with the construction of a 4×6meter compost house, divided into two tanks for fermentation. The first tub measures 1.5 x 2 meters and 2 meters high, and the second tub measures 1.5 x 1.5 meters and 1.5 meters high. Counseling and training began with a pre-test, and the average correct answer was 33.3% in the low category. Training activities use choppers, buckets, shovels, hoes and shovels, and the raw materials used are animal waste, rice bran, rice husks, agricultural waste, granulated sugar, EM4 and water. Fermentation in the first tank for 14 days and in the second tank for 8 days. The compost is removed from the second tub and aired, then applied. The post-test was carried out at the end of the activity and the results showed an increase in knowledge and skills of 86.7% in the high category.

Abstract

This study explores the role of education in enhancing home garden utilization for family nutrition in Watumite Village. It employs methods such as field observations, interviews, socialization, technical training, and periodic evaluations. Field observations assessed the condition and potential of home gardens, while interviews helped identify residents' knowledge and practices. Socialization efforts highlighted the importance of home gardens for improving nutrition, supported by educational materials like pamphlets and guidebooks on gardening techniques. Technical training involved practical sessions on cultivating vegetables and medicinal plants, with direct demonstrations on planting and care. The program included ongoing assistance to help residents implement the techniques learned, alongside regular monitoring and evaluation to gauge success and offer feedback. The final evaluation assessed the impact of education on home garden utilization and family nutrition. Results indicated that education significantly increased residents' gardening knowledge and skills. Periodic support was crucial for program sustainability, leading to a marked rise in home garden use for growing vegetables and medicinal plants, positively affecting family nutrition. The study concludes that structured and sustainable education is an effective strategy for improving nutrition through home gardens in rural communities.

Abstract

Pemahaman siswa tentang pelajaran gerak akan ditingkatkan dengan harapan bahwa mereka akan terlibat secara fisik, emosional, dan intelektual dalam proses belajar mengajar. Penggunaan metode learning together diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses agar tidak jenuh dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. murid. Sedangkan tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (a) Ingin mengetahui seberapa jauh pemahaman dan penguasaan mata pelajaran IPA setelah diterapkannya Metode Metode Learning Together Kompetensi Berbagai Sistem Dalam Kehidupan Manusia Pada Siswa Kelas VIII-B Semester Ganjil UPTD SMPN 2 Gurah dan (b)Mengetahui pengaruhnya metode Learning Together dalam meningkatkan prestasi serta pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pelajaran IPA setelah diterapkan Metode Metode Learning Together Kompetensi Berbagai Sistem Dalam Kehidupan Manusia Pada Siswa Kelas VIII-B Semester Ganjil UPTD SMPN 2 Gurah. Tiga putaran penelitian tindakan digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Ada empat tahapan dalam setiap putaran: rancangan, kegiatan dan pengamatan, refleksi, dan refisi. Siswa Kelas VIII-B SMP Negeri 2 Gurah Kompetensi Berbagai Sistem dalam Kehidupan Manusia menjadi fokus penelitian ini selama tahun pelajaran 2018–2019. Hasil tes formatif dan lembar observasi aktivitas dijadikan sebagai sumber data yang dikumpulkan. Dari hasil analisis diketahui bahwa dari siklus I ke siklus III prestasi belajar siswa meningkat, siklus I mengalami peningkatan sebesar 46,88%, siklus II mengalami peningkatan sebesar 71,88%, dan siklus III mengalami peningkatan sebesar 90,63%. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran ini dapat digunakan sebagai pengganti pembelajaran IPA dan pembelajaran dengan metode learning together dapat memberikan dampak positif terhadap prestasi belajar dan motivasi belajar siswa kelas VIII-B.

Abstract

The problems that exist in the community of Nduaria village, Kelimutu sub-district are the lack of awareness from the community about environmental hygiene, it looks like garbage is just scattered about and the world of education is the lack of additional tutoring from parents and the lack of interest and enthusiasm for children's literacy at school. From these problems, there are several work programs set by students in the Group 19 Real Work Lecture program in the village of Nduaria, namely: 1) Caring for the environment and making trash bins, 2) Working on gates to welcome the 17 August celebrations, 3) Visits schools to conduct additional tutoring and the creation of a reading garden. 4) Digital literacy to introduce village potential through digital space. The achievements of the activities obtained in this Real Work Lecture are the creation of public awareness about the importance of disposing of waste in its place so that the environment looks clean, increasing the enthusiasm of students in Nduaria village in learning and reading, and increasing promotion by the community in introducing village potential through social media.
