Abstract

Political advertising has been part in series of political campaigns with all its dynamics. Interestingly, social media is quite effective attracting voters thus emerging the supporting community. This phenomenon is felt since 2014 Elections, when viewed furthermore, the shared content in socmed has same patterns packing political ads, which plays negative issue in society. How is the effectiveness of political ads through socmed in Indonesian politics? Why is a negative political ads tends to have more influence in society? According Perloff (2014), the feature of political ads is to direct its negativity, used for colorful roles in presidential campaigns and proving that it is easier for people to consider negative advertising than positive advertising.Qualitative descriptive analysis will reveal the phenomena with relevant theories to the effects of socmed illustrating its power to form partisan.

Abstract

Komunikasi politik saat ini bukan hanya dilakukan oleh para elit politik kepada masyarakat tetapi juga dapat dilakukan oleh gabungan individu yang bergerak secara sukarela untuk kepentingan publik yang dinamakan relawan. Relawan politik biasanya hadir untuk bekerja secara sukarela dalam pemenangan suatu kandidat politik dalam pemilihan umum, ini juga termasuk dalam pemilihan gubernur. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan ingin mmendeksripsikan bagaimana strategi komunikasi politik yang dilakukan relawan Roemah Djoeang dalam pemenangan pasangan Anies-Sandi di Pemilihan Gubernur DKI Jakarta tahun 2017 . Penelitian menggunakan konsep komunikasi politik, penggunaan saluran komunikasi politik, serta relawan dalam komunikasi politik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam kepada tiga relawan Roemah Djoeang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa relawan Roemah Djoeang memanfaatkan beberapa saluran komunikasi politik, seperti komunikasi organisasi sebagai komunikasi intertanal antar relawan, komunikasi massa sebagai saluran informasi khalayak luas mengenai kandidat pasangan, serta penggunaan media sosial untuk berkomunikasi pada khalayak sebagai calon pemilih. Ini berarti relawan memiliki peran penting dalam strategi komunikasi politik pemenangan pemilihan gubernur DKI Jakarta 2017.Keywords: Komunikasi Politik, Relawan, Pemilihan Gubernur

Abstract

Today's competition requires each product to develop a co-branding strategy in reaching the market, especially in the digital era where social networking is a space to build brand identities. So this research was conducted to find out how to co-brand Compass Shoes on social networks. To find out how much influence the co-branding variable has on social networks, seen from the dimensions of social networks by measuring social networks—using a quantitative-explanatory methodology, a data collection using a random questionnaire with a total of 398 respondents who meet the characteristics of the sample. The results of this study have a hypothesis where the exogenous variable, namely co-branding, has a significant effect on the endogenous variable, namely social networking. Creating co-branding, of course, must have a strong strategy in innovation and be able to understand consumer desires by providing collaboration space to build a shared identity.

Abstract

The use of social media has grown commonplace in today's culture. Every social media user now has a place to call their own in the digital age. Tiktok is one of the most popular and distinctive social media platforms, and it frequently abuses women through its many 'challenges' for content such as elbow sticking challange. This study takes a non-positivistic approach to the phenomena that occur in the society with a critical interpretive approach. Observations done in TikTok activities and engaging in interactions with TikTok users to be able to understand and uncover the commodification practices of women that occur in TikTok. This study revealed how intertextual the commodification of women in Tiktok was using a critical method that leverages Julia Kristeva's post-modern feminist outlook as a conceptual framework. The findings of this study reveal that the body, women, and culture are interwoven and produce meaning, which overrides earlier meanings by establishing new meanings that exploit Tiktok users, particularly women, which is consistent with media evolution, which also influences value meaning.

Abstract

Film as a communication medium is audio-visual which is used to deliver messages to audiences. This article aims to explain the linguistic space for discourse on social phenomena in post-war I and II through the audio-visual medium The Peaky Blinders film in relation to the emergence of discriminatory discourse on social status among the lower class people, namely ex-soldiers workers. The critical paradigm is used as a perspective in this article. The results that have been analyzed by the author are that social inequality has an impact, namely the existence of social hegemony and power takes place when the grassroots including the proletariat have accepted and imitated the way of life, way of thinking, and views of the elite group that dominates and exploits them and causes some discrimination, namely such as discrimination of a profession or position, discrimination of clothing, and discrimination of behavior or manners.

Abstract

Slank is a phenomenal Indonesian band that exists today. Its existence in the music industry for more than three decades has given its style to Indonesian music, consistent with the criticisms that represent the voices of some people who are dominant at the bottom or are intimidated. The neatly fragmented social dynamics in each Slank album are like historiography in the form of music. With the postmodernism paradigm and the Poststructuralist approach a la Foucault, this article will examine the relations of power and music in the existence of Slank. Abstract

At that time, the Indonesian government was organizing regional elections, part of the ongoing general election process following the presidential and legislative elections. In a short period, a public movement emerged to reject and cancel the Draft Law (RUU) proposed by the Indonesian Parliament, following the Constitutional Court's ruling on presidential nomination thresholds and political party participation in elections. The "Cancel Culture" movement, known as the "Emergency Alert," quickly gained momentum and was carried out by various groups across Indonesia. It culminated in massive demonstrations involving diverse communities. This study’s key question is how the "Emergency Alert" movement, through social media, managed to oppose the regional election bill so quickly and effectively, motivating people to participate in both online and physical protests. The research aims to understand the content and platforms used in social media to shape public participation, and how the characteristics of new media triggered rapid and widespread engagement. Using new media, social media, and cancel culture theories, this qualitative research with a constructivist framework found that new media characteristics—interactivity, friendliness, richness, autonomy, playfulness, privacy, and personalization—were crucial in mobilizing support for the "Emergency Alert" movement.Keywords: Digital Political Activism, Cancel Culture, Emergency AlertABSTRAKPemerintah Indonesia saat itu tengah menyelenggarakan pemilihan kepala daerah, bagian dari proses pemilihan umum yang sedang berlangsung setelah pemilihan presiden dan legislatif. Dalam waktu yang singkat, muncul gerakan masyarakat untuk menolak dan membatalkan Rancangan Undang-Undang (RUU) yang diajukan oleh DPR RI, menyusul Putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi ketentuan mengenai ambang batas pencalonan presiden dan partisipasi partai politik dalam pemilu. Gerakan "cancel culture" yang dikenal sebagai "Peringatan Darurat" dengan cepat mendapatkan momentum dan dilakukan oleh berbagai kelompok di seluruh Indonesia. Puncaknya adalah demonstrasi besar-besaran yang melibatkan berbagai komunitas. Pertanyaan utama dari penelitian ini adalah bagaimana gerakan "Peringatan Darurat" melalui media sosial berhasil menentang RUU PILKADA dengan begitu cepat dan efektif, memotivasi orang untuk berpartisipasi dalam protes fisik dan online. Penelitian ini berupaya memahami konten dan platform media sosial yang digunakan untuk membentuk partisipasi publik dalam gerakan ini, dan bagaimana karakteristik media baru memicu keterlibatan yang cepat dan meluas. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori media baru, media sosial, dan budaya pembatalan, dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan kerangka konstruktivis. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik media baru—interaktivitas, keramahan, kekayaan media, otonomi, keceriaan, privasi, dan personalisasi—sangat penting dalam memobilisasi dukungan untuk gerakan “Peringatan Darurat”.Kata Kunci:  Aktivitas Politik Digital, Cancel Culture, Peringatan Darurat

Abstract

Desa Pacalan yang terletak di kecamatan Plaosan kabupaten Magetan, provinsi Jawa Timur. Dahulunya desa Pacalan adalah tanah “perdikan” Keraton Jogjakarta yang terletak di lereng Gunung Lawu. Desa ini memiliki sumberdaya alam dan budaya yang memiliki potensi untuk diolah, dimanfaatkan, dan dikembangkan sebagai daya tarik wisata. Sebagai pamasok sayuran untuk wilayah sekitar Jawa Tengah dan Jawa Timur, juga adanya objek wisata umbul, maka desa pacalan cukup potensial untuk dikembangkan menjadi desa wisata. Guna mendukung desa Pacalan menjadi desa wisata perlu suatu sarana atau fasilitas transportasi sebagai area transit kendaraan wisatawan. pemenuhan kebutuhan kehidupan masyarakat sekitar yang harus dilestarikan keberadaannya. Rest Area merupakan salah satu sarana transportasi yang digunakan sebagai area transit wisatawan. sehingga rest area ini dapat berfungsi sebagai area berdagang dalam rangka memperkenalkan hasil bumi desa Pacalan. Dalam strategi pengembangan pariwisata khususnya desa wisata, langkah awal dalam upaya perencanaan kegiatan berbasis masyarakat adalah penyusunan master plan objek wisata yang ada di desa Pacalan tahap kedua pengembangan desain Rest Area dengan konsep keberlanjutan. Perencanaan desain Rest Area ini dirancang dan direncanakan dengan konsep keberkelanjutan sehingga dapat memberikan manfaat secara terus menerus kepada peningkatan kualitas hidup masyarakat desa Pacalan.

Abstract

Kebudayaan adalah suatu pola hidup menyeluruh yang bersifat kompleks yang mengandung nilai pengetahuan, kesenian, kepercayaan moral, hukum dan adat istiadat. Seni adalah suatu keindahan yang diciptakan melalui sebuah karya yang merupakan bagian dari kehidupan manusia. Fasilitas yang ada masih berupa bangunan serba guna untuk semua kegiatan atau acara, sehingga belum ada tempat yang menjadi pusat bagi para penikmat seni dan pelaku seni untuk menampilkan dan menikmati kreasi seni.Rencana pengembangan pariwisata di Kabupaten Sragen memprioritaskan pembangunan gedung kesenian untuk meningkatkan pendapatan dan nilai ekonomi wilayah. Kesenian memiliki peran penting dalam memperkaya budaya suatu daerah. Namun, banyaknya jenis kesenian dan kebutuhan akan ruang yang sesuai untuk berbagai acara seni seringkali menjadi tantangan bagi sebuah komunitas seni. Di Sragen, sebuah kota yang kaya akan warisan budaya Jawa, terdapat kebutuhan untuk memiliki sebuah gedung kesenian yang tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai tempat pertunjukan, tetapi juga mampu mengakomodasi berbagai jenis kesenian serta menggabungkan elemen-elemen arsitektur neo vernakular.
