Abstract

This study examines the rejection and resistance movements carried out by religious-based groups against the application of halal tourism in Sembalun Lawang Village, East Lombok in the period 2018 to 2021. The theory used in this study is the resistance theory of James C. Scott and the theory of Islamic populism Vedi R. Hadiz. The results of this study indicate that the form of hidden transcripts carried out by pro-tourism groups and contra-tourism groups both depart from sentiment towards other groups, which then creates gossip and becomes an internal discourse in each group. Then Saturnalia, which became a connecting factor for the emergence of conflict, was the 2018 earthquake. Then the public transcript of the two groups was in the form of open conflict, destruction and closing of tourism destinations. Abstract

The quality of services provided by the house greatly affects the image of the hospital and the satisfaction of patients who visit the hospital. One of the factors that plays a role in the quality of hospital services is the evaluation of the management of drug supplies in the hospital. Evaluation of drug supply governance is necessary to prevent drug shortages (stock out), drug excess (over stock), and drug vacancies in a limited manner. There has been a drug vacuum in the trading hospital due to an increase in the number of patients. The purpose of this study was to determine the evaluation of drug supply management in the Pharmacy Warehouse of the Trade Simalungun District Hospital. This type of research is descriptive research with an observational approach. In this study, there was a source of information, namely from the Head of the Pharmacy Installation. The results showed that the evaluation of drug supply management in the pharmaceutical warehouse of the Simalungun District Hospital of Commerce was quite effective, but there are several factors that can affect drug vacancies. This can be seen from several components of Input (especially the storage warehouse which is less representative), Process (inconsistency with the use of preparations, inaccurate planning, changing room temperatures affecting existing supplies, resulting in damaged and expired supplies) and Output. (As needed). It is expected that the Head of the Pharmacy Installation of the Simalungun District Hospital for Trade will pay more attention to the planning and procurement of drugs to minimize forgotten preparations and avoid expired drugs. Abstract

Sand is an important material in building construction for residential houses, places of worship, offices, educational facilities, and other buildings. Sand generally consists of sand mixed with gravel and stone. An automatic sand sieving machine makes separating rock gravel from sand easier. Making an automatic sand sieving machine aims to get better quality and cleaner sand screening results. This sand sifter machine is made to prevent the entry of gravel in the sieving process. In addition, the sand sieving process can be more efficient and effective. The automatic sand sieving machine has dimensions of 100 cm long, 70 cm wide, and 80 cm high. The test results of the sand sieving machine can sift sand with a capacity of 5 kg in 15 seconds and a sand capacity of 10 kg in 32 seconds.

Abstract

Introduction: Diabetes is a disorder of insulin hormone production that causes blood sugar levels in the body to exceed normal limits, leading to various problems such as stress and poor sleep quality. Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) is a relaxation technique that addresses stress and sleep quality issues. The research aimed to determine the effect of PMR on stress levels and sleep quality in diabetes mellitus sufferers. Methods: This study employed a pre-experimental design with a one-group pre and post-test design. Sampling was done using purposive sampling with a total of 33 samples. Research variables were measured using the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) and The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Data analysis was conducted using SPSS 25 with a paired sample t-test. Results: The majority of samples were elderly (51%) with a female gender predominance (75%) and a duration of diabetes of >5 years (54.5%). Stress was more prevalent among the elderly (23.5%), males (25%), and those with a duration of diabetes <5 years (13.3%). Poor sleep quality was predominantly experienced by late adults (87.5%), males (87.5%), and those suffering for >5 years (83.3%). Samples tended to have moderate to severe stress levels (63.6%) and poor sleep quality (81.8%). After the implementation of PMR, there was a decrease in the mean stress level (3.70) and sleep quality (2.97). The paired sample t-test shows a p-value <0.05, which means there are differences in stress levels and sleep quality in samples before and after PMR. Conclusions: Progressive muscle relaxation significantly reduces stress levels and improves sleep quality in diabetes mellitus sufferers. Progressive muscle relaxation may be recommended as part of stress management and interventions to improve sleep quality in people with diabetes mellitus. This technique is easy to apply and can be done independently or in structured sessions. Integrating these techniques into diabetes treatment programs can provide additional benefits in managing stress and improving sleep quality, supporting better diabetes management.
