Abstract

ABSTRACT Political participation is the activity of a person or group of people in influencing the general policies to be taken by the government. Political participation of the people in North Sumatra has decreased from several elections that occurred. This study aims to determine the effect of voting behavior on decreasing political participation. This study uses data collection techniques with a survey method using a questionnaire as the main instrument. The results of this study note that the influence of voting behavior on the decline in political participation. The most significant factor influencing voting behavior is the religious factor. Abstract

ABSTRACT Commission on Elections General as the body organizing the elections that have the authority to carry out ranging from planning to implementation has been duly guarantee in full the political rights of every citizen the country without exception for persons with disabilities in the implementation of the election general. This study aims to describe accessibility of elections for persons with disabilities in the province of Bali, map the perception of the disability in its participation at the time of the election, describing the implementation of CRPD towards the fulfillment of the political rights for persons with disabilities in the province of Bali. This study uses a qualitative approach in explaining the fulfillment of rights Politics for Persons with Disabilities in Bali Province through the Implementation of CRPD. Abstract

ABSTRACT   The research was based on the strong position of a group of elite in a village in Karo Tribe called "Simantek kuta". Position is Obtained through elite role when Reconstructing a culture called "Ingot-ingot" meaning returning the favor. The purpose of this research was to know and describe the role of the elite in the reconstruction of the local culture  Ingot-ingot in the village of Panribuan, Simalungun Regency. The theory used is the elite theory and the theory of cultural studies. The methods used by qualitative research. The technique of collecting data through observation, interviews, literature and documentation. This study yields findings where the reconstruction is done by doing a social approach, cultural hegemony and build relations of power in society. The culture of Ingot-ingot is a culture that is very sacred because when a debt of gratitude to appear then this debt is not just a personal debt but also debt into spirit, family debt, and debt of the ancestors, so that if not paid or dibalaskan then it can be a catastrophe. This definition is used by the elite through the power of capital in the form of material wealth and knowledge of the cultural aspects to revive culture of ingot-Ingot in an attempt to menghegemoni the community. Social approach undertaken to understand culture in a diverse community in the Batak tribe. This approach then yields the reconstruction of Ingot-ingots that was built through the existing cultural concept that already exist namely the awarding of "Jabatan" as the Organization of indigenous institutions, the granting of "Marga" as a form of tribal identity and "Perkawinan" in the concept formation of kinship. Elite calculations appear on each value from the third awarding it. On the other hand, the concept of marriage even produce power relations in the system of kinship. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aimed to analyze the movements and actors in the resistance movement of gold mining in the Pace village Subdistrict Silo, Jember regency. This research was using the Qualitative method include in-depth interviews and field in research studies,In addition collecting documents related to this research. This research had resulted, in finding the relationships between actors prone to be a trigger of conflict and led to the refusal movement made by the village community of Pace. Conflict of individuals who had an influence that made this conflict had became a mass conflict involving the community at large. Meantime, besides individual behalf, the state also had behalf for mining through PT Antam. The presence of the state in gold mining in the Pace village had become new chapter to the people who reject gold mining in the Pace village. Keyword:Movement, Actor, Conflict.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The struggle of political actors has been viewed by various parties in fighting for the people of Klungkung Regency, especially the District of Nusa Penida. What is the strategy of new political actors in the development of infrastructure district Nusa Penida Klungkung district 2016. The theory used in the research is the theory of political elite, and Rational Choice where the method used is qualitative in obtaining interviews with sources. The results in the study there is a politics of repayment to klungkung mainland that only needs to be maintained Meanwhile, in Nusa Penida needs to be built because there is no decent development for the local community. Support from the central figure in Nusa Penida work together in developing development so that the positive impact where both parties mutually benefited in infrastructure development. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study is aimed at determining the existence of millennial generation in participating politics, but at the same time the millennial mostly very apathetic. The purposed of this study is to determine the effect of millennial generation participation in the legislative nomination in Bali Province in 2019, by used the concept of millennial generation, dynasty politics,legislative elections. Qualitative methods of observation and interviews are used in this study. The results of this study is the participation of millennial generation is influenced the legislating. First, they had influence of elements of political dynasty and also the support of the winning team, secondly, there was no element of dynasty but a winning team, the third, they had a dynasty without winning team, they supported by social media so it makes easier to get votes from the millennial. Abstract

ABSTRACT Traditional market can not be separated from human being, in order to full fill the form of basic necessity such as Clothes, Foods, and Home because these kind of things can not be formed and producing it goods and service by itself. Thus society can be easily to full fill their necessities by the existence of the market as a place for trading all goods and products has been showed in Sindu market development by economical point of view followed by tourism sector which is carrying Sanur Village into a revolution. The government has committed to revitalize traditional market in Denpasar City and one of the proof of the commitment shown by supporting and authenticatring a program of Sindhu Traditonal market’s revitalization as it agenda. Theory that used in this research are Rational Choice theory and Agenda Setting which utilized by the Qualitative methods by getting an information by deep interview. The result of this research is showing a dinamics of the government in the process of revitalization by authenticating that agenda and as supporting idea which is harmonized for both of sector in this revitalization agenda. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aimed to determine the factors behind the poor response of the state to the campaign props violations in Denpasar City. As the research framework, this research used the state in society theory and collective action theory. This research used the case study method. The findings represented that political power in various government institutions was the reason behind the state’s weakness in overcoming the campaign props violations. Through images and practices in the campaign props phenomenon, it can be seen that the relationship between the state and political parties was caused by the transformation of society through political parties for the purpose of domination. Conditions created by the images, practices, and transformations led to various impacts, from collective action in political parties to the occurrence of free riders by political parties inside and outside the coalitions, which increased the number of campaign props violations. Abstract

ABSTRACT Benoa Bay reclamation policies  led to the reaction  a resistance movement of various circles of society to indigenous villages. Resistance indigenous village began to spread, which initially only indigenous coastal villages Benoa Bay, now the traditional village far from the coast of the Gulf of Benoa party to the resistance movement refuse reclamation of Benoa Bay. This research takes the traditional village Pasedahan Karangasem as a case study. The purpose of this study is to determine and describe how the resistance movement Pasedahan indigenous village in Karangasem regency refuse reclamation policy Benoa Bay. The theory used is the theory of the Resistance. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Research data collection techniques by observation, interviews, literature method, discorse and documentation. This research on the findings discovered that the resistance movement is done the traditional village Pasedahan still in the form of semi-open resistance (social protests or demonstrations), installation of billboards and flags ForBALI, as well as participation in joint actions Pasubayan Village People/Pakraman. In data analyzed that there are two factors that underlie the emergence of resistance movements Pasedahan indigenous villages. First, trust/faith in the sacred area which produces resistance that there are points of sacred region Benoa Bay. Second, the sense of solidarity which produces resistance can be interpreted as a manifestation of concern society based on equality of morality, collectivity, and belief as indigenous peoples. Abstract Siri’ Na Pacce is a phillosophical value of South Sulawesi people. As a Socio-cultural value that ordered, this value comes with the positive falue as to enpower the dignity of the solidarity & solidity, meanwhile this value tends to being collusive and making a nepotism. This value is used by Yasin Limpo’s Dynasty to legitimating their power to hegemony of power in South Sulawesi. This research title is “Reconstruction of Siri’ Na Pacce Value In The Establishment of Yasin Limpo’s Dynasty” aimed to described the movement of Yasin Limpo’s Dynasty that using Siri’ Na Pacce Value as a Patron Client. This Research Using Descriptive-Qualitative methods with Deep Interview. The Based Theory that used in this research is Cultural-Rational Choice Theory and Twilight Institution Theory that described legitimation of power within the Twilight by Yasin Limpo Dynasty under the power of Adnan Purichta with the case of LAD no.05 2016 Year.
