Abstract

The selection of departments in vocational high schools (SMK) is a must for students to determine the concentration of student learning interest for three years in a school. The lack of student knowledge and outreach about this department caused many students to choose their majors by the most choices and following other students. This problem can cause some difficulties for the students to participate in learning, and most fail. Students must select their major based on their interests, abilities, and talents because every student has different abilities and talents. The C4.5 algorithm can provide convenience in grouping students based on majors. Using the decision tree method with attributes such as grades in mathematics, English, interests, and talents, the system can recommend majors based on students' interest levels. The results of this study are the determination of the departments with the accuracy of the calculation using the confusion matrix method with a 98,55% accuracy rate and 100% recall rate value.

Abstract

Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (PUPR) Kabupaten Balangan is a Regional Government Organization Unit (SOPD) that has the task of assisting the Bupati in administering government affairs in public works, infrastructure, and housing development. In addition, it also formulates, determines, and implements policies in the field of water resources management, road management, housing provision and development of residential areas, infrastructure financing, structuring of buildings, drinking water supply systems, wastewater management systems, and environmental drainage and waste, and construction services construction. Difficulty in determining priorities for infrastructure development on the Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang Kabupaten Balangan, then an Infrastructure Development Priority Analysis system was created to support the construction of roads and bridges on Kabupaten Balangan. To determine the priority development weights using the AHP method and the order of priorities using the Bayes method because it is one of the techniques used to analyze the best decision-making from several alternatives to produce optimal gains. The results of the completed questionnaire get an average yield of 21 (twenty-one) or 87.5% (eighty-seven point five percent). If the average is included in the rating scale, get a VS rating or Very Satisfied. Decision support systems using AHP and Bayes methods can determine the priority of road infrastructure development at Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang Kabupaten Balangan.

Abstract

The construction industry is a significant part of the gross domestic product of any country, and its success can lead to the long-term economic and social development of lives in general. Many studies have found a positive link between public infrastructure and the economy. Infrastructure investment directly affects economic growth. Well-designed infrastructure will have long-term financial benefits. The Ministry of Public Works and Housing (Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat / PUPR) has played an essential role in strengthening the monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of infrastructure development by local authorities, including making the right policies in determining infrastructure development priorities. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Bayes method were used in this study. First, we used AHP to derive independent weights for criteria. Then, we determined the closeness between priorities to produce a sequence of infrastructure development priorities. Based on the results, using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Bayes Method showed that Lampihong-Panaitan, Halong-Tabuan, and Bihara-Tariwin roads are Priorities for development. Then the Wangkili-Pudak road, and finally, the Awayan-Bihara. Decision support systems using the AHP and Bayes methods can determine priorities for road infrastructure development at the Office of Public Works and Public Housing in Balangan Regency.
