Abstract

This study is to analyze the potential of the area for developing dairy cattle in Enrekang Regency using a descriptive method. Primary data was obtained from direct interviews with dairy farmers and secondary data collected was periodic data over five years, from 2017 to 2021, sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics of Enrekang Regency. The data analysis used is qualitative analysis and location quotient (LQ). The results show that the areas that become the economic base in the development of the dairy cattle business are Cendana District and Anggeraja District. The obstacles experienced by dairy farmers so far are the availability of cattle breeds, the availability of feed, health services, marketing, and human resources. The dairy farming business in Enrekang Regency can be maximized to be able to be competitive.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the food crop and plantation subsectors which are the leading subsectors in Pinrang District. The determination analyzed using the Location Quotient method which produces commodities classified as a base or non-base commodities which can contribute to increasing farmer income and regional income. The data sources used are primary data from interviews with farmers while secondary data on food crop and plantation production in Pinrang District for five years (2013-2017) were obtained from the Agriculture Service and BPS of Pinrang District. The results show thatthe food crop subsector is a base commodity and is very potential, namely wetland paddy and maize which have a base area in five sub-districts in Pinrang District. Whereas in the plantation sub-sector which is the basis, namely coconut, coffee, and cocoa, although the highest LQ value is in coffee commodities in Lembang subdistrict. Thus, commodities in the food crops and plantation sub-sectors are basic commodities that are worth developing. Pinrang District is one of the rice barns in South Sulawesi, which holds the position of Pinrang District as a potential producer of food crops. In addition to wetland paddy, other food crops produced are maize and beans. The most dominant plantation crops in Pinrang District are coconut, coffee, and cocoa, which are excellent crops.

Abstract

Dalam memperebutkan konsumen, persaingan perusahaan tidak lagi terbatas pada kegunaan produk, tetapi sudah dikaitkan dengan pergeseran merek.  Saat ini banyak bermunculan merek susu fermentasi yang cukup bersaing. Top Brand Survey menunjukkan bahwa Yakult  menduduki peringkat teratas kemudian disusul dengan merek Cimory. Penelitian bertujuan untuk memprediksi pergeseran pangsa pasar produk susu fermentasi bermerek dalam kemasan di Kota Makassar. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling. Responden disyaratkan  sedang atau pernah mengonsumsi susu fermentasi bermerek dalam kemasan. Penelitian ini dianalisis dengan rantai markov.  Hasil penelitian bahwa telah terjadi pergeseran pangsa pasar susu fermentasi bermerek di Kota Makassar sebagai akibat adanya perpindahan merek susu fermentasi.  Merek Yakult dan Cimory mengalami peningkatan jumlah pangsa pasar sedangkan merek Vitacharm mengalami penurunan.  Dari hasil temuan tersebut dapat diramalkan kecenderungan permintaan susu fermentasi bermerek dalam kemasan di Kota Makassar dan merancang strategi bersaing dalam menguasai pasar. SHIFT MARKET OF PACKAGING DAIRY MILK FERMENTATION PRODUCT IN MAKASSARABSTRACTIn order to gaining the consumers, companies competition is no longer limited to the usefulness of the product, but the brand it selfs already associated with a shift. Today many brands popping fermented milk is quite competitive. Top Brand Survey showed that Yakult was ranked top followed by Cimory brand. The aim of this study is to predict the shift in market share in the branded fermented milk products packaged in Makassar. Sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Respondents were required or never consume fermented milk brand in the packaging. This study analyzed by using Markov chain method. The results of the research that has been a shift in market share fermented milk brand in Makassar as a result of the displacement of fermented milk brand. Yakult brand and cimory brand are increasing number of market share while brand Vitacharm decreased. The findings can be predicted demand trends in the packaging of fermented milk brand in Makassar and devise a strategy to compete in the market.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the income of fish tuna business by the Fishermen Women Group "Fatimah Az-Zahrah" in Kelurahan Pattingalloang Ujung Tanah Subdistrict Makassar City. The type of research used is a case study on the business of the Fishermen Group "Fatimah Az-Zahrah" in Kelurahan Pattingalloang Kecamatan Ujung Tanah Makassar. The research used purposive sampling technique in determining the informant. This research was conducted on May to July 2014 which is in Kelurahan Pattingalloang Subdistrict Ujung Tanah Makassar City. The research location was chosen purposely because the location of this research is one of tuna processing industry centres in Makassar. The results of this study indicate the existence of tuna development efforts by the Fishermen Group "Fatimah Az-Zahrah" in Pattingalloang Urban District Ujung Tanah Makassar City Rp 254.284.600/year and monthly income abon tuna fish an average of Rp 21,190. 383.3.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan menganalisis pendapatan dan break even point usaha ayam petelur mandiri. Penelitian dilakukan di Kecamatan Patampanua Kabupaten Pinrang pada bulan Oktober 2020 sampai dengan Januari 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan hasil wawancara langsung dengan pemilik usaha ayam petelur (data primer) dan sumber data sekunder yang dikumpulkan melalui data Badan Pusat Statistik. Data dianalisis menggunakan perhitungan pendapatan dan BEP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usaha peternakan ayam petelur mandiri memperoleh pendapatan sebesar Rp 103.600.850/periode (1.000 Ekor) dan Rp. 476.203.250/periode (5.000 ekor). Nilai BEP harga telur utuh sebesar 71.366.344 pada skala 1.000 ekor dan nilai BEP harga telur utuh sebesar 199.330.762 skala 5.000 ekor. Sementara break even point hasil telur utuh sebesar 2.039 rak (1.000 ekor) dan 5.695 rak (5.000 ekor). Dengan demikian, hasil break even point usaha peternakan ayam petelur mandiri sudah dikatakan layak dan mendapatkan keuntungan. Kata Kunci: ayam petelur; pendapatan; break even point

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the consumer attitudes towards the product attributes of dangke crackers in Cendana District, Enrekang. The sampling technique used an accidental sampling of 50 consumers. This study uses primary and secondary data. The data were collected using observation, documentation, and interviews. The data analysis in this study was the Fishbein Multi-attribute analysis. The results showed the total value of consumer attitudes (Ao) of the Melona brand and without the brand, respectively 68.38 and 65.03. The packaging was an excellent attribute of the Melona brand. Thus, overall consumers were more satisfied with the Melona brand of dangke cracker products than unbranded dangke cracker products.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesadaran merek, asosiasi merek, persepsi kualitas dan loyalitas merek susu kental manis di Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan 200 responden dari lima lokasi diantaranya tiga pasar modern dan dua pasar tradisional di Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh dari responden berdasarkan indikator kunci ekuitas merek yaitu kesadaran merek, asosiasi merek, persepsi kualitas dan loyalitas merek. Penelitian ini dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan menggunakan persentase (kesadaran merek), uji cochran (asosiasi merek), importance performance analisis (persepsi kualitas) dan metode rangking order (loyalitas merek). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan merek Frisian Flag yang paling diingat oleh konsumen (kesadaran merek); harga terjangkau, merek terkenal, tingkat kekentalan pas, kualitas produk tinggi, rasanya enak, info produknya lengkap, praktis, kemasan menarik, ukuran kemasannya bervariasi, promosi dan iklannya menarik dan mudah diperoleh merupakan asosiasi pembentuk brand image dan merek Frisian Flag lebih baik dibanding merek lainnya dalam pengukuran persepsi kualitas dan loyalitas merek.

Abstract

Konsentrasi pembangunan pertanian berfokus pada keunggulan komoditas berbasis potensi daerah dan  daya saing.  Salah satu wilayah yang masih bergantung pada sektor pertanian khususnya agribisnis adalah Provinsi Gorontalo.  Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis komoditas unggulan dari subsektor tanaman pangan, holtikultura dan perkebunan berbasis jumlah produksi.  Penelitian dilakukan di Provinsi Gorontalo karena nilai produk domestik regional bruto (PDRB) berasal dari kontribusi salah satu sektor lapangan usaha yaitu sektor pertanian.  Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder berupa nilai PDRB  dan jumlah produksi komoditas pertanian dari tahun 2018-2021 yang bersumber dari Badan Pusat Statistik Provinsi Gorontalo.  Teknik analisa data yaitu location quotient  dengan perhitungan shift share analysis.  Prioritas pada subsektor tanaman pangan yaitu komoditas unggulan jagung dan ubi jalar termasuk sektor progresif dengan nilai LQshare ≥ 1 dan LQshift ≥ 1, komoditas pada subsektor holtikultura berada padaa kategori sektor mundur kecuali komoditas cabai masih termasuk sektor lamban dengan nilai  LQshare ≥ 1 dan LQshift <1 dan komoditas unggulan pada subsektor perkebunan meliputi kelapa, kakao dan tebu yang termasuk sektor progresif yang memiliki nilai LQshare ≥ 1 dan LQshift ≥ 1 sementara komoditas kelapa sawit dan kopi berada padaa kategori sektor mundur artinya komoditas tersebut kurang baik untuk diprospek karena laju perubahan/daya saing dan spesialisasi komoditas tersebut masih rendah.Kata kunci: Komoditas unggulan; subsektor pertanian; volume produksi

Abstract

One of the people's choices in West Tulabolo Village is to create new jobs by running a beef cattle business to support the village economy. The objectives of this research are (1) to understand the process of cultivating beef cattle, (2) to analyze costs, income, and revenues, and (3) to analyze the feasibility of beef cattle farming in various levels of ownership in West Tulabolo Village. This research used a sample of 27 beef cattle breeders using a saturated sampling technique. This research uses primary data sources and secondary data. Apart from that, the types of data used include qualitative and quantitative data. Data collection methods use surveys, interviews, and literature studies. The research results show that (1) the process of cultivating beef cattle starts from preparation, breeding, maintenance and enlargement, fattening (2) the income received from a scale of 1-2 heads to more than 5 heads is IDR 17.929.425 to IDR 63.137.959 and (3) the beef cattle farming business in West Tulabolo Village is said to be feasible based on the results of the R/C and B/C analysis which shows >1.
