Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pelayanan penyuluhan pertanian (services), pelayanan sumber permodalan / keuangan (input), dan sistem pemasaran petani (market linkages)pada program READSI penyuluhan dalam pemberdayaan petani di Desa Paris Kecamatan Mootilango. Metode penelitian menggunakan tehnik analisis deskriptif. Tekhnik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian yaitu menggunakan disproportionate stratified random sampling dengan sampel berjumlah 64 petani. Hasil Penelitian bahwa Evaluasi program READSI penyuluhan dalam pemberdayaan petani di Desa Paris Kecamatan Mootilango yaitu Pelayanan penyuluhan pertanian (services) pada program READSI dalam Pemberdayaan Petani Di Desa Paris Kecamatan Mootilango dilakukan dengan baik kepada petani dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 83.44%. Pelaksanaan Demo inovasi/teknologi memberikan dampak peningkatan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan peserta namun seringkali materi demo alsintan diganti dengan materi pembuatan pupuk maupun pengendali OPT organik. Evaluasi pelayanan sumber permodalan / keuangan (input) pada program READSI dalam Pemberdayaan Petani Di Desa Paris Kecamatan Mootilango dilakukan dengan sangat baik kepada petani dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 83.44%. Kegiatan pemberdayaan petani melalui sekolah lapang. Materi-materi SL antara lain : tentang cara pembibitan, cara penanaman yang baik dan benar, cara pemeliharaan tanaman, cara pemupukan yang benar, cara pemberian pestisida yang ramah lingkungan, cara pembuatan pupuk kompos, dan manajemen ilmu tanah. Evaluasi sistem dan pemasaran petani (market linkages) pada program READSI dalam Pemberdayaan Petani di Desa Paris Kecamatan Mootilango dilakukan dengan baik kepada petani dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 78.54%. Petani di Desa Paris memiliki administrasi kelompok namun seluruh kelompok dan anggota tidak melakukan simpan pinjam. Dampaknya pengadaan Adm Umum dan Administrasi Keuangan Kelompok, Penetapan Jadwal pertemuan Bulanan Kelompok

Abstract

One potential area for development in the livestock subsector is beef cattle, including waste processing, which can provide income and contribute to improving community welfare. Waste originating from cow dung contains chemicals including NH3, NH, and other compounds. The people of West Tulabolo Village do not optimize the use of cow dung because they have a limited understanding of the negative impacts of environmental pollution caused by cow dung. The main objective of PKM activities is to increase farmers' understanding of waste management practices on zero-waste-based beef cattle farms. The various stages carried out in this PKM activity include observation, counseling, training, and evaluation. The target audience for this PKM partner is the wider community, with a special focus on farmers and beef cattle breeders in West Tulabolo Village. The participants were given an educational introduction to processing waste produced by beef cattle based on zero waste. In the context of this PKM activity, some of the learning material was disseminated theoretically so that it could provide additional knowledge for the community, and training activities in making organic fertilizer were continued. The participants showed high enthusiasm for participating in the training session. The participants had increased knowledge and skills related to management in the use of beef cattle manure waste. Analysis of the pre-test and post-test results shows that the counseling and training provided to the target audience has provided good results in terms of the application and utilization of zero waste-based livestock waste in the realm of science and technology as well as contributing to the rural economy.

Abstract

The goat-farming business has quite promising prospects for development. This research aims to analyze the prospects for developing goat farming businesses in West Tulabolo Village, East Suwawa District. Using snowball sampling techniques, six breeders, two village officials, and one extension officer were selected as informants for this study. This research uses primary and secondary data sources. Research data was analyzed using the SWOT analysis framework (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats). Based on the research results, it show that the IFE (internal factor evaluation) matrix score is 3,27 and the EFE (external factor evaluation) matrix score is 3,04. This shows that the prospects for developing the goat farming business in West Tulabolo Village are strong (3,0–4,0) in square one, consisting of market development and market penetration. Market development is done by improving the quality of breeder resources, and promoting and increasing public knowledge to encourage participation in goat production. Apart from that, it is important to implement a market penetration strategy to increase the market share of the goat farming business. Thus, we hope that establishing a goat farming business will provide a profitable opportunity for both breeders and the community in West Tulabolo Village.

Abstract

Most farmers in West Tulabolo Village, located in East Suwawa District, carry out extensive coconut cultivation. Farmers obtain coconut in granular form. Usually, coconut farmers who live in West Tulabolo Village sell copra as the primary means of commercialising their coconut products. The main objective of this research is to determine the income and feasibility of the copra industry in West Tulabolo Village, located in East Suwawa District, Bone Bolango Regency. The research location was deliberately chosen because the potential for coconut cultivation is quite significant. The research was carried out from March to June 2023. The population in this study consisted of a sample of 15 farmers selected using a saturated sampling technique, which included the entire copra farming community. This research uses primary and secondary data sources. This research uses a quantitative descriptive methodology to analyse the data. Research findings reveal an average total cost of IDR. 4,127,127 per harvest, which is the total revenue of IDR9,772,500 per harvest, and a total income of IDR5,645,373 per harvest. The calculated R/C value is 2.36, while the B/C value is 1.36. Therefore, it can be said that the copra business in West Tulabolo Village shows that it is feasible to continue, as evidenced by the R/C and B/C ratios exceeding 1.

Abstract

Nugget merupakan makanan bergizi yang terbuat dari ayam dan digemari banyak orang. Sayuran seperti brokoli bisa dimasukkan ke dalam komponen dasar untuk melakukan modifikasi pembuatan nugget. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan daya tarik  konsumsi sayuran di kalangan anak muda dengan mengkombinasikan bahan baku produksi nugget baik dari hewani dan nabati.  Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini difokuskan untuk ibu-ibu masyarakat Desa Iloheluma dikarenakan sebagai penyedia makanan keluarga yang harus mengetahui cara mengolah makanan yang sehat namun tetap praktis dan ekonomis. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat desa binaan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat melalui pelatihan nugget “SEHAP” (protein sayuran enak hewani) sehingga terbentuk pola pikir kewirausahaan di kalangan masyarakat khususnya ibu-ibu di Desa Iloheluma dengan membekali mereka pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sumber pendapatan alternatif.  Metode pelaksanaan dalam program ini adalah persiapan dan pelaksanaan yang terdiri atas sosialisasi dan penyuluhan, pelatihan dan pendampingan serta evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat khususnya ibu-ibu Desa Iloheluma memiliki peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam proses pengolahan nugget “SEHAP” (protein sayuran enak hewani) yang baik.  Hal ini terlihat dari antusias kelompok mitra dalam mengikuti keseluruhan rangkaian kegiatan pengabdian.  Selain itu, hal ini dapat dilihat melalui kuesioner awal dan akhir yang diisi sebelum dan sesudah program.  Pengetahuan dan kemampuan masyarakat mengalami peningkatan dari awal 60% menjadi 100%. Selain itu, perempuan Desa Iloheluma terdorong untuk memulai usaha pengolahan nugget “SEHAP” sebagai alternatif sumber pendapatan rumah tangganya.

Abstract

Jagung hibrida merupakan salah satu tanaman pangan dunia yang terpenting, selain gandum dan padi. Selain itu, penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi faktor internal dan ekternal usahatani jagung hibrida di Desa Kenari Kecamatan Lemito Kabupaten Pohuwato dan Mengetahui agregatif strategi pengembangan usahatani jagung hibrida di Desa Kenari Kecamatan Lemito Kabupaten Pohuwato. Informan dalam penelitian ini dibagi menjadi 2 (dua) yaitu: 1) Informan kunci yang terdiri dari 10 kelompok tani, dan 2) Informan biasa yaitu penyuluh dan aparat desa. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder, serta dianalisis menggunakan analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian Strategi pengembangan usahatani jagung hibrida di Desa Kenari Kecamatan Lemito Kabupaten Pohuwato yaitu berada pada kuadaran I yang mendukung strategi Agresif atau S-O  (Strenght-Opportunites) dengan menggunakan kekuatan dan peluang yang dimiliki. Adapun strategi SO yaitu memanfaatkan dukungan pemerintah dengan meningkatkan peran kelompok tani sebagai wadah komunikasi untuk pengembangan usahatani jagung hibrida agar memenuhi permintaan pasar, memanfaatkan dukungan lembaga keuangan dalam pengembangan usahatani jagung hibrida, dan memanfaatkan kontinuitas produksi jagung dengan melakukan kesepakatan bersama tengkulak.Kata Kunci : jagung hibrida, pengembangan, internal, eksternal, SWOT

Abstract

Cattle farming needs to prioritize sustainable waste management. The productivity of beef cattle farming is not yet fully maximized because it still uses conventional farming practices. The objectives of the study: (1) to identify the characteristics of beef cattle farmers in South Suwawa District and (2) to examine the factors that influence the implementation of farmers in waste utilization. The study used a sample of 60 farmers through accidental sampling. This study used the SPSS 23 Program with multiple regression analysis. The results of the study showed (1) age, education, gender, occupation, and experience of cattle farmers have an impact on the management of waste utilization efforts and (2) the significance test (t-test) and (f-test) showed that the variables representing the knowledge aspect (X1) and attitude aspect (X2) did not have a statistically significant or real effect. Although environmental factors (X3) have the same impact. The importance of farmer behavior in increasing understanding and changing attitudes to minimize environmental pollution and contribute to achieving zero waste goals.

Abstract

Beef cattle farming is important in providing food, especially animal protein, and supporting the community economy. This study illustrates how this livestock business can quickly breakeven point (BEP), cover costs, and start making a profit. The uniqueness of this study lies in the specific analysis of costs, revenues, and income, as well as the calculation of BEP, which can be used as a guideline for more efficient business management. This study aims to analyze the BEP of the beef cattle business in the Boliyohuto District. The sample used was 89 beef cattle farmers using a quantitative approach. Data was collected through observation, interview, and documentation, followed by quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the average total cost incurred was IDR 11,418,410, and revenue was IDR. 19,814,935, income was IDR. 8,396,525. In addition, the breakeven point (BEP) in quantity is 0.576, and the rupiah value is IDR. 5,709,205. The beef cattle business in the Boliyohuto Subdistrict provides economic benefits because the production and unit price is greater than the breakeven point value, so the business is up-and-coming. This research is very relevant in the context of community economic empowerment because the beef cattle sector has the potential to be a stable source of income, support food security, and create jobs. In addition, the results of this study can be the basis for developing policies and programs that support the sustainability of livestock businesses in rural areas, as well as optimizing the profitability of livestock businesses in the long term.

Abstract

Introduction: Food security programs have become a strategic issue that consistently attracts the attention of various levels of government, including village governments, as regulated in the Minister of Village, Development of Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration of the Republic of Indonesia. Thus, this program will create sustainable food security, which is also a measure of the success of rural development. Methods: This research is a quantitative study. The data source in this research is primary data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to the district government, villages, and farmers, in accordance with the sample calculation requirements of 213 farmers, as well as through interviews and field observations. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive analysis and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) PLS. Results: (1) village development performance, resource management, collaboration and creativity of the farmer-breeder community is on fairly good criteria (2) resource management has a positive and significant effect on collaboration, resource management has a positive and significant effect on the creativity of farmer-breeders, resource management has a positive but insignificant effect on village development performance, collaboration has a positive and significant effect on village development performance, the creativity of farmer-breeders has a positive and significant effect on village development performance, resource management through collaboration has a positive and significant effect on village development performance, the creativity of farmer-breeders has a positive and significant effect on village development performance. Conclusion: collaboration and creativity of farmer-breeders are good mediating variables as they can enhance the influence of resource management on village development performance based on the priorities of village funds in plant and animal food security.
