Abstract

Although regulations regarding child-friendly school policies have been made by the government since 2014. However, the reality is that we often find cases of violence against children in educational institutions covered by social media. Cases of violence that often occur in educational institutions include physical violence, sexual violence, and psychological violence. In this study, researchers were very interested and wanted to research teacher strategies for preventing acts of violence through child-friendly school programs. This aims to map teacher strategies from the results of research on child-friendly schools that have been conducted by several previous researchers. This study uses a qualitative approach with the method of a literature review or literature study. It is hoped that the results of this strategy mapping can be put to good use in the future by educational institutions in Indonesia to implement a child-friendly school program. The results of the study show that educational institutions that have implemented a child-friendly school program have tried to follow the rules by the six standard indicators set by the government. Teachers are required to carry out fun learning, invite students to actively participate, also provide more educational punishments if students make mistakes. Several educational institutions are also innovating by creating literacy activities, clean Fridays, strengthening character education, creating educational content for children through social media, and providing counseling services that students and parents can access.

Abstract

This research examines the community's offering rituals to honor gods, ancestral spirits, and guardian spirits of sacred places. This ritual caused controversy among Muslims because it contained elements of shirk. This research aims to seek a synthesis of this controversy. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method approach with an ethnographic type. Data collection was carried out through observation and interviews. Data analysis uses interactive methods. The research results show that offering rituals can be synthesized from a religious and cultural perspective with the following conditions: 1) offering rituals are positioned as cultural events, not as offerings as in religion; 2) the meaning of the offering ritual is thanksgiving which is consumed by the community, not left to be eaten by spirits or ancestral spirits because it would be wasteful; 3) the intention of the offering ritual is only for Allah alone and is not mixed or added with other names. As in religion, the intention of sacrifice is for Allah alone, but the object (sacrificial animal) is for humans.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap dinamika interaksi sosial yang terjadi dalam aplikasi Bumble karena terdapat tantangan yang muncul dalam aktivitas kencan daring melalui Bumble, seperti pengalaman negatif yang pernah dialami di dalam aplikasi tersebut. Hal ini menjadi penting agar di masa depan, mahasiswa dapat terhindar dari risiko-risiko pengalaman negatif yang muncul saat melakukan aktivitas kencan daring khususnya di aplikasi ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik yang digunakan untuk menentukan informan yaitu purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi non-partisipan dan wawancara mendalam. Penelitian ini mengambil lokasi di Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto, Jawa Tengah, dengan mewawancarai sebanyak enam informan yang merupakan mahasiswa aktif FISIP Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Ditemukan bahwa informan dapat memperkirakan risiko-risiko yang sekiranya akan menimpa mereka ketika sedang beraktivitas di dalam aplikasi kencan daring. Jenis risiko yang paling sering ada adalah pelecehan verbal dan nonverbal, penipuan, tindakan kriminal, dan ghosting. Selain itu, mahasiswa mengalami pengalaman negatif dalam aktivitas kencan daring melalui aplikasi Bumble, seperti di-ghosting dan pelecehan seksual.

Abstract

Kreativitas guru diperlukan untuk menghadapi keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana pembelajaran, menghapus persepsi mengenai sosiologi yang dianggap sebagai mata pelajaran yang membosankan, Pada penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka, guru dituntut untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, kreatif dan inovatif. Upaya menghadapi tantangan dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka memberikan gambaran model guru kreatif yang melakukan pembelajaran dengan kreativitas mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan cara mengumpulkan data yang dapat dipertanggungjawabkan sehingga dapat menjadi acuan baru di kemudian hari. Kreativitas guru sosiologi ditunjukan dengan kemampuan menyusun perangkat pembelajara yang fleksibel, menyesuaikan strategi pengajaran berdasarkan kondisi kelas dan karakteristik siswa. Penggunaan metode dan model pembelajaran yang bervariasi dengan memanfaatkan teknologi. Pengelolaan kelas dalam pembelajaran dilakukan guru sosiologi dengan menerapkan budaya positif sekolah. Guru juga secara kreatif mampu mengelola pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Melaksanakan berbagai asesmen pembelajaran untuk mengetahui gaya belajar, minat dan pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran oleh siswa.

Abstract

Poor students are often considered students with difficulty achieving in school due to limited resources. Some try to study in their favorite schools, dominated by upper-class students. This study aims to describe the efforts made by poor students to achieve in their favorite schools. The qualitative research method involves interviewing poor students who excel with teachers at their favorite schools. The study results show that they are motivated to achieve and utilize the available learning facilities. They borrow books from the library and download books from the internet to learn. They also utilize free tutoring facilities that can be accessed online. Saving is their way of fulfilling learning facilities. They have a habit of practicing learning discipline at home by utilizing their free time as much as possible. The results of this study can change the negative stigma regarding poor students who are identified with laziness, helplessness, indiscipline, and failure. This study can provide insight into the efforts of poor students to develop resilience and achieve high academic achievement despite facing economic challenges.

Abstract

Hak untuk mendapatkan pendidikan adalah hak dasar bagi setiap anak, tetapi sayangnya masih terdapat diskriminasi yang menghalangi anak-anak dari kelompok tertentu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan diskriminasi sosial yang dialami oleh anak-anak sekolah di sebuah perkampungan marjinal di Purwokerto, Jawa Tengah. Nama kampung tersebut disamarkan menjadi “Kampung Amanah”. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah metode kualitatif berbasis data lapangan. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi.  Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data interaktif. Validitas data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Penelitian ini melibatkan 9 orang informan, yang terdiri atas dua siswi jenjang SMK, satu siswa jenjang SMP, tiga informan orang tua, dan tiga informan guru kelas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan, anak sekolah di perkampungan marjinal tersebut mengalami diskriminasi sosial di sekolahnya secara terselubung. Mereka mengalami perundungan dan pengucilan, baik yang dilakukan oleh teman-teman mereka sendiri maupun guru. Diskriminasi tersebut menimbulkan dampak psikologi, sosial, dan akademik yang buruk. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan perlunya intervensi kebijakan dan program pendidikan inklusif yang menekankan kesetaraan, pemberdayaan, serta penghapusan stigma dan diskriminasi terhadap anak-anak dari kampung marjinal.

Abstract

Motivasi belajar dalam Kurikulum Merdeka menjadi suatu persoalan yang penting untuk mendapat perhatian. Kurikulum ini memberikan kebebasan lebih besar bagi guru untuk merancang pembelajaran sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa, serta berpusat pada peningkatan keaktifan siswa dalam proses belajar. Hal tersebut menuntut adanya inovasi strategi pembelajaran dari guru agar siswa dapat terlibat secara aktif dan termotivasi untuk belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan strategi guru untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dalam penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka di sebuah sekolah dasar negeri di Kabupaten Banyumas, Jawa Tengah. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi lapangan. Metode pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan melalui purposive sampling dengan jumlah informan sebanyak 15 orang. Informan tersebut terdiri atas kepala sekolah, guru, siswa, dan orang tua siswa. Data selanjutnya dianalisis dengan metode analisis interaktif yang mencakup tahapan kondensasi data, penyajian data hingga penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa terdapat enam strategi yang dilakukan guru untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, yaitu menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, menyediakan pojok baca, mendorong keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam pembelajaran, memahami minat dan kebutuhan siswa, melakukan variasi metode pembelajaran, serta memberikan apresiasi dan penghargaan kepada siswa.
