Abstract

Abstrak: Desa Kahyapu Pulau Enggano memiliki kekayaan sumber daya alam pesisir dan laut yang dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu destinasi pariwisata bahari di pesisir barat Pulau Sumatera. Pengembangan wisata bahari di Desa Kahyapu belum optimal dilakukan sehingga perlu meningkatkan promosi melalui media cetak seperti leaflet. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemandirian Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Podipo) Desa Kahyapu Pulau Enggano melalui peningkatan promosi wisata bahari pesisir. Metode pengabdian dilakukan melalui sosialisasi dan penyuluhan terkait penyusunan paket wisata bahari dan penyusunan leaflet/flyer sebagai media promosi kepada Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis) Podipo yang beranggotakan 33 orang serta evaluasi berupa angket sebelum dan sesudah pemberian program pengabdian. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 95% Pokdarwis Podipo puas terhadap program pengabdian dan telah sepenuhnya memahami terkait konsep wisata bahari, namun perlu peningkatan dan variasi media promosi seperti pemanfaatan media sosial online sebagai sarana promosi.Abstract:  Kahyapu Village, Enggano Island, has a wealth of coastal and marine natural resources that can be used as a marine tourism destination on the west coast of Sumatra Island. Marine tourism development in Kahyapu Village has yet to be carried out optimally, so it is necessary to increase promotion through leaflets. This community service program aims to improve the knowledge and independence of the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis Podipo) of Kahyapu Village, Enggano Island, by increasing the promotion of coastal marine tourism. The community service program method is carried out through socialization and counselling regarding the preparation of marine tourism packages and preparation of leaflets/flyers as promotional media for the Podipo Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis), which has 33 members, as well as evaluation in the form of questionnaires before and after providing the service program. The service results show that as many as 95% of Pokdarwis Podipo are satisfied with the service program and fully understand the concept of marine tourism. Still, there is a need for improvement and variety in promotional media, such as online social media as a tourism promotional tool.

Abstract

Abstrak: Desa Kemumu memiliki potensi wisata edukasi berbasis alam dan budaya yang dapat dikembangkan sebagai daya tarik utama di Kabupaten Bengkulu Utara. Namun, promosi wisata di Desa Kemumu masih terbatas, sehingga diperlukan inovasi dalam media promosi yang lebih menarik dan informatif. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemandirian Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis) Argatirta Kemumu yang beranggotakan 18 orang dalam mempromosikan wisata edukasi melalui pengembangan buku cerita ilustratif dwibahasa berbasis informasi geospasial. Metode pengabdian dilakukan melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan penyusunan konten cerita, pemilihan bahasa, ilustrasi gambar serta penggunaan informasi geospasial untuk memperkuat narasi dalam buku Sistem evaluasi dilakukan melalui analisis kuesioner dengan indikator keberhasilan berupa minat masyarakat, relevansi program, dan tingkat kepuasan peserta. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa 90% peserta merasa puas dan memahami pentingnya inovasi media promosi melalui buku cerita bergambar berbasis informasi geospasial.Abstract: Kemumu Village has the potential for nature and culture-based educational tourism that can be developed as the main attraction in North Bengkulu Regency. However, tourism promotion in Kemumu Village is still limited, so innovation is needed in more attractive and informative promotional media. This community service aims to increase the understanding and independence of the Argatirta Kemumu Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis), which has 18 members promoting tourism education through developing bilingual illustrative storybooks based on geospatial information. The community service method is carried out through training and mentoring in compiling story content, choosing languages, illustrating images, and using geospatial information to strengthen the narrative in the book. The results of the community service showed that 90% of participants were satisfied and understood the importance of innovation in promotional media through illustrated storybooks based on geospatial information.
