Abstract

Micro businesses, which are the backbone of the Indonesian economy, must be legalized so that they move up a class in improving the economic welfare of the people. To make this happen, government leadership through the empowerment function by creating PIRT for Micro Enterprises. As an initial stage, Micro Businesses must register their Business Identification Number (NIB) to increase consumer confidence and facilitate business transactions. The aim of PkM is to increase the legality of Micro Businesses in Rancatungku village in the culinary, grocery and service sectors through assistance with NIB registration. The PkM implementation method is a lecture to refresh partners about the benefits of NIB in capital, legal strength, increased production and marketing. Meanwhile, for assistance with NIB registration via Online Single Submissions (OSS), a question and answer method is used which is guided by the head of the UMBandung IPR Study Center and accompanied by the PkM head, students and village government representatives through good collaboration by dividing tasks and providing supporting infrastructure for laptops, cellphones and printers. The results of the assistance have resulted in the successful issuance of four NIB certificates for Micro Business actors in the culinary and grocery sectors. It is hoped that having an NIB certificate will motivate them to move up to a higher level in the trade and entrepreneurship sectors. The ease of implementing OSS in licensing services has encouraged other sectors such as BUMDES and student businesses to be registered with NIB.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the mechanism and implications of pricing organic vegetables implemented by PT Bionic Farm on the welfare of CV Karunia Abadi Farm farmers. The research method uses a quantitative approach in the form of vegetable sales reports and a qualitative approach to analyze farmer welfare. The calculation results show that the mechanism for setting prices for organic vegetables is determined by the distributor, namely PT Bionic Farm, so that the role of farmers is only limited to price takers. The impact in terms of farmers' income is seen to receive quite a large margin as evidenced by the wages for organic vegetable care services received by farmers above the Regional Minimum Wage (UMR). Meanwhile, farmers have to bear large expenditures for capital and labor in producing organic vegetables such as asparagus. The solution is that farmers must be given socialization on determining the Cost of Goods Sold (HPP) for organic vegetables through Community Service (PkM) activities in order to encourage farmers to increase their productivity in real terms, thereby improving Indonesia's economic welfare.

Abstract

Objectives: This study aims to test: 1) the influence of Covid-19 on Business Sustainability; 2) the influence of Covid-19 on Business Sustainability with Corporate Action as a moderation.Methodology: This study uses secondary data. The sampling method uses purposive sampling. The sample used was 32 companies listed on the IDX that carried out corporate actions in 2020. Hypothesis testing 1 and 2 used the t-test. Hypothesis testing 3 used the F test because it contains elements of interaction between two.Finding: The results of the Covid-19 study proxied by ROE did not show an effect on business sustainability, while those proxied by Current Ratio showed an effect on business sustainability. The Covid-19 and Corporate Action variables as moderating variables jointly affect business sustainability. Conclusion: The impact of Covid 19 and corporate actions have an important role and have been proven to jointly affect business sustainability. Liquidity needs to be maintained to ensure that business sustainability runs effectively considering the impact of Covid-19. On the other hand, profitability does not affect business sustainability, because cash flow is not smooth, where cash flow is a source of business sustainability. Corporate action policies to attract interest and restore investor confidence in the company amidst the spread of Covid-19, thus impacting business sustainability.

Abstract

General Background: Sustainability has become a key focus in the global business sector, requiring companies to address social and environmental impacts alongside financial performance. Indonesia's plantation sector plays a critical role in the national economy, yet the adoption of sustainability standards and its relationship with stock value remains under-explored. Specific Background: While previous studies often utilise a generalised or partial approach to sustainability, the FAO's Sustainability Assessment of Food and Agriculture Systems (SAFA) framework offers a more comprehensive evaluation. This study investigates the relationship between the economic dimensions of SAFA and the stock value of plantation companies listed on the IDX over the period 2022-2023. Knowledge Gaps: Research linking SAFA implementation specifically to stock value in the plantation sector is limited, and previous findings are inconsistent. Objective: To provide empirical evidence that addresses these inconsistencies by assessing the effect of the economic dimensions of SAFA on stock value. Methods: A mixed approach with quantitative analysis using Generalised Estimating Equation (GEE) was applied to data on plantation companies listed on the IDX. Results: None of the four economic dimensions-Investment, Vulnerability, Product & Information Quality, and Local Economy-showed a significant effect on stock value. Novelty: This is the first study to explicitly test SAFA in the context of the Indonesian capital market. Implications: The findings suggest that investors may not fully consider sustainability disclosures in investment decisions, highlighting the need for greater awareness and education.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of financial literacy, knowledge awareness, price affordability, and trust in eco-labels on the intention to buy eco-friendly coffee in Indonesia. Using an explanatory quantitative approach with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) and data from 300 respondents, the findings reveal that price affordability significantly affects green purchase intention, while financial literacy has no direct effect. Knowledge awareness enhances trust in eco-labels, which mediates the relationship between knowledge awareness and green purchase intention. Moreover, price affordability moderates the effect of knowledge awareness on green purchase intention. These results highlight the importance of balancing financial considerations and ecological awareness to promote sustainable coffee consumption.
