Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how personal motivational factors in Self-Determination Theory, both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, influence digital entrepreneurial intentions among Indonesian students. Data was obtained online from 303 students from various Indonesian universities. The PLS-SEM approach to data analysis reveals that intrinsic motivation elements such as enjoyment motivation and challenge motivation positively affect digital entrepreneurial intentions. On the extrinsic motivation factor, only compensation motivation has a positive effect on digital entrepreneurial intentions, while outward motivation does not affect digital entrepreneurial intentions. This finding differs from other research where outward motivation affects digital entrepreneurial intentions. In contrast, the compensation motivation factor does not positively affect digital entrepreneurial intentions.

Abstract

This study discusses the role of spatial planning in overcoming the increasingly worsening problem of traffic congestion in the urban area of Yogyakarta. This research explains how good spatial planning can contribute to reducing congestion, improving mobility and creating a more sustainable environment. The author explains that effective spatial planning must consider aspects such as residential location, land use patterns, transportation accessibility, and road infrastructure. The research results show that good spatial planning can optimize land use, reduce travel distances, and increase accessibility to various important facilities. In addition, this study also discusses the importance of community participation in the spatial planning process, because opinions and input from residents can help create solutions that are more appropriate to local needs and reduce resistance to change. The results of this research provide a better understanding of how wise spatial planning can help overcome traffic congestion, improve the quality of life in the Yogyakarta urban area, and support sustainable development. The policy implications drawn from this research can provide important guidance for policymakers, urban planners, and the public in joint efforts to face the challenges of congestion in other cities in the future.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of creativity and educational support on digital entrepreneurial intentions among Indonesian students. Data was collected through an online survey involving 303 respondents, using a 5-point Likert scale to measure relevant variables. The analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) approach with SmartPLS 3.0. The results show that creativity and educational support significantly influence digital entrepreneurial intentions. Creativity plays a key role in identifying business opportunities, while educational support enhances entrepreneurial skills. This study emphasizes the importance of integrating entrepreneurship education into academic curricula to address the high unemployment rates among university graduates in Indonesia. Adequate support from educational institutions in the form of incubation centers and seed funding is strongly recommended to facilitate the development of digital entrepreneurship among students. This research contributes to theoretical understanding and provides practical implications for entrepreneurship education in the digital era.

Abstract

Food waste's negative effects on the environment and monetary losses have made it a major concern. Food waste at the consuming stage has been directly affected by customer purchasing behaviour. Moreover, the majority of food waste happens within households. This means examining the reasons behind household food waste behaviour is a potential safeguard against food waste issues. This research aimed to analyze household food waste behavior in the Special Region of Yogyakarta after the COVID-19 pandemic. This study was conducted with a questionnaire survey from June to July 2023 to households in the Yogyakarta Special Region. Data was collected purposively using online and offline methods simultaneously. A total of 245 responses were obtained, and 203 were valid for use. Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was used as the analytical method. The research results showed that psychological factors such as attitudes, perceived behavioral control, emotions, moral beliefs, and knowledge about food management influenced households' intentions to reduce food waste. By examining the factors that affect food waste, it is hoped that this research will advance our understanding of trends in food waste behavior at the household consumer level in developing nations.
