Abstract

Policies in disaster management in Indonesia are currently more focused on disaster prevention and mitigation efforts. Strengthening disaster management capacity is a very important achievement for success in reducing the impact of disasters. Disaster impact reduction can only be done when disaster risks can be understood and identified to serve as a basis for building disaster resilience. Schools have a strategic role in relation to disaster risk reduction efforts. Classroom learning and school activities can be used as media to develop an awareness of the importance of preparedness in dealing with disasters. The introduction of disaster risk reduction as an effort to increase school resilience in dealing with earthquake disasters carried out at SMA Negeri 10 Jakarta aims to increase students' knowledge of earthquake disaster risk reduction in the school environment. The implementation method is carried out through online socialization through the Zoom program. The results of the implementation show that there is an increase in the knowledge of students and teachers on understanding earthquake risk, recognizing risk factors, and knowing how to reduce disaster risk with existing resources in the school environment. This is shown through the average results of pre-test and post-test who answered correctly increased by 44.33%. Participants who answered correctly were 79.55% from the previous 35.22%

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengenai bagaimana sebaran dan kondisi terumbu karang dengan mengunakan citra landsat 8. Lokasi peneltian dilakukan di perairan sekitar Pulau Sepanjang, Kecamatan Sapeken Kabupaten Sumenep. Penelitian ini mengunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan persamaan Lyzenga dan diterapkan pada Citra Landsat 8 dan dilakukan verifikasi lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perbedaan antara hasil pengamatan lapangan dengan hasil analisis mencapai 37,5 % perbedaan ini dijadikan sebagai dasar untuk melakukan koreksi pada citra untuk menghasilkan citra yang lebih tepat. Dan secara umum penggunaan persamaan/algoritma lyzenga pada landsat 8 bisa digunakan untuk mendeteksi kondisi umum terumbu karang khususnya untuk mendeteksi terumbu karang hidup dan mati, sebagai langkah awal untuk mengidentifikasi kualitas terumbu karang. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the extent of the flood hazard, vulnerability and risk levels of flooding in Lamongan, East Java Province. This research uses descriptive method with scoring of unit region and areal differentiations. Results of this study indicate that the basin-shaped area of Lamongan causing this area to be an area with a high risk of flooding. There are 61 villages out of 474 villages were inundated with threat levels low, medium and high. there are 22 villages with low hazard level, 17 villages with medium hazard levels and 22 villages with a high hazard level. Based on the analysis of the elements of vulnerability, to areas with low vulnerability category contained in 7 sub-districts, medium vulnerability found in 15 sub-districts and region with high vulnerability was found in 5 sub-districts. Result of flood risk analysis, it is known that high-risk villages are generally found in the near of Bengawan Solo river and Bengawan Jero river. The whole village is in this category amounted to 13 villages located in three districts namely (1) Kecamatan Babat there are 4 villages, (2) Kecamatan Karangbinangun there 1 village, (3) and in Kecamatan Laren there are 4 villages. Medium risk region there are at 38 villages in 11 sub-districts. The villages are generally located near along stream of the Bengawan Solo river and Bengawan Jero river. Kecamatan Karangbinangun and Laren is the highest number of villages with medium risk of flooding. They have each 12 and 10 villages with a medium risk of flooding. For region with low flood risk is located in 10 villages in 5 sub-districts. Keyword: Hazard, vulnerability, flood risk.

Abstract

This research aims to know the movement patterns of tourist destinationfloating market, Lembang, West Bandung Regency. The method used inthis research is descriptive method with a survey approach. The studylasted from June to July 2019. The indicators are (1) the number oftourist visits each tourist destination, (2) motivation of tourist visits, (3)length of stay, (4) modes of transportation, (5) accessibility to touristdestinations, (6) traveling experience, (7) number of travelingcompanions, (8) tourist attraction. The results showed tourists fromBanten Province tended to only make Multiple Patterns with the type ofChaining Loop and Stopover. The age of 17-30 years dominates the eraof tourists; these tourists do tours with their families as much as 100%.Tourists travel time from the origin area to tourist area is 4 to 5 hours, sotourists further shorten the time of visiting each destination anddestinations visited by more tourists.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of social vulnerability to flood disaster in the city of Tangerang by using the SoVI (Social Vulnerability Index) method. This study uses 6 indicators to assess the level of social vulnerability for flood disasters in the sub district unit. Each sub district unit is calculated quantitatively using the PCA technique (Principal Component Analysis) and weighting is carried out on each indicator. Each weight describes the relationship between each indicator / variable and its level of vulnerability. The results of this study indicate that there are 5 categories of vulnerability levels. The very low category of social vulnerability is found in 4 sub district, namely: Pasar Baru, Nambo Jaya, Panunggangan Timur, and Sukarasa. The low category is found in 16 sub district including: Kunciran Jaya, Pakojan, and Kelapa Indah. There are moderate categories in 27 sub district including Nerogtog, Cipete, and Babakan. The high category is in 15 sub district including Gebang Raya, Kunciran, and Piang. There are very high categories in 7 sub district including: Kunciran Indah, Petir, and Cipondoh Indah.

Abstract

Abstract To realize sustainable development in Indonesia, the government has begun to introduce and apply the principle of a circular economy in various sectors. The principle of a circular economy in the form of using goods as long as possible, utilizing items that have not been used for a long time, recycling, minimizing waste are considered to accelerate the success of low-carbon development within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals 2030. The application of the circular economy principle requires the cooperation of the government, stakeholders and individual communities. Society has a bigger role in reducing waste to zero. There is still a need for socialization and training for the community to change people's behavior in using their goods until they are decided to turn into garbage. During the Covid 19 pandemic, waste production from housing increased dramatically compared to waste production from activity centers such as offices, schools or shopping areas. This condition shows that it turns out that efforts must be made to change people's behavior that supports waste-free development wherever it is located. Cities are areas that are very easy to produce waste. The purpose of this community service is to introduce circular economic activities to early childhood in urban areas so that a circular economic culture is formed. Economic circular activities that are introduced are activities that are individual in nature. The activity was carried out at the Rawamangun 07 Pagi Elementary School, attended by 4 teachers and 30 students. Activities carried out online. The result of the activity is that 95% of students understand about circular economy activities. Students will apply at home and school. The reason students implement a circular economy is to protect the environment, protect the earth, reduce waste. They will also invite friends to do the same. Meanwhile, teachers and school principals have responded positively to the application of a circular economy with continuous socialization and practice to students or other school members. Abstrak Untuk mewujudkan pembangunan Indonesia berkelanjutan, pemerintah mulai mengenalkan dan menerapkan prinsip ekonomi sirkular pada berbagai sektor. Prinsip ekonomi sirkular berupa penggunaan barang selama mungkin, memanfaatkan barang yang sudah lama tidak digunakan, mendaur ulang, meminimalisir sampah dianggap mempercepat keberhasilan pembangunan rendah karbon dalam kerangka Sustainable Development Goals 2030. Penerapan prinsip ekonomi sirkular memerlukan kerjasama pemerintah, stakeholder dan individu masyarakat. Masyarakat memiliki peran yang lebih besar dalam mengurangi sampah hingga menjadi nol. Masih diperlukan sosialisasi dan pelatihan bagi masyarakat untuk mengubah perilaku masyarakat dalam menggunakan barangnya hingga diputuskan menjadi sampah. Saat pandemi covid 19, produksi sampah dari perumahan meningkat drastis dibandingkan produksi sampah dari pusat kegiatan seperti perkantoran, sekolah atau tempat perbelanjaan. Kondisi ini menunjukkan ternyata harus diupayakan perubahan prilaku masyarakat yang mendukung pembangunan bebas sampah dimana pun berada. Perkotaan adalah wilayah yang sangat mudah menghasilkan sampah. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah mengenalkan kegiatan ekonomi sirkular kepada masyarakat usia dini di perkotaan sehingga terbentuk budaya ekonomi sirkular. Kegiatan sirkular ekonomi yang dikenalkan adalah kegiatan yang bersifat individu. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Rawamangun 07 Pagi dengan dihadiri oleh 4 orang guru dan 30 siswa. Abstract

The occurrence of flooding in the Upper Cimanuk Watershed has increased in recent years as a result of the decline in watershed quality due to changes in land use. A flood is the work accumulation of various environmental factors in a watershed. This study aims to identify the level of flood-prone and its determinants in the Cimanuk Hulu watershed. The method used in this study is the overlay method using GIS accompanied by weighting and scores determined by the Composite Mapping Analysis (CMA) model of 6 parameters, consist of Topographic Wetness Index (TWI), Land Use, Rainfall, Slope, Elevation, and Soil type. Flood event points as comparison parameters in determining scores and weights. The results showed that the variable land use was the variable with the highest weight of 27.01, respectively, affecting the level of flood-prone in the study area. The very high prone area includes an area of 1.57%, high prone area of 3.15%, moderate prone area of 5.85%, low prone area of 7.75%, and 81.68% are very low prone areas.

Abstract

Abstract Cisaat Village is one of the villages located in Ciater District, Subang Regency. Located at an altitude of 0-1,500 meters above sea level northeast of Mount Tangkuban Parahu with an area of 2,051.76 km2. Cisaat Village has a lot of natural beauty that has the potential to be used as a tourism object. Not only suitable for the development of natural tourism, the location of Cisaat Village is also suitable to be used as a place for artificial tourism development and also cultural tourism based on local wisdom as one of the livelihoods of the population which of course this not only benefits the population but is also very interesting to invite tourists to visit the region as one of the references to the area rich in tourism objects. However, with a location located in the highlands, of course, Cisaat Village has a potential disaster that must be considered and anticipated by both locals and tourists who want to visit Cisaat Village. The problems obtained based on the results of interviews with the Tourism Awareness Group and Cisaat Village government officials, they do not yet have an understanding of the potential disasters contained in Cisaat Village. In addition, they also do not have a coordination flow in the form of a Disaster Risk Reduction Forum formed by the Village government. Therefore, this activity is carried out to increase the capacity of the Tourism Awareness Group to disaster risks in Cisaat Village , which is expected as a partner to increase the capacity of Cisaat Village Residents and Cisaat Village Tourists to disaster risks in the region as a whole. The increase in the capacity of tourism awareness groups to disaster risks is shown by increasing their knowledge in understanding the potential disasters contained in Cisaat Village. Abstrak Desa Cisaat merupakan salah satu desa yang terletak di Kecamatan Ciater, Kabupaten Subang. Terletak di ketinggian 0-1.500 mdpl di sebelah timur laut Gunung Tangkuban Parahu dengan luas sebesar 2.051,76 km2. Desa Cisaat menyimpan banyak sekali keindahan alam yang potensial untuk dijadikan objek pariwisata. Tidak hanya sesuai untuk pengembangan wisata alam, lokasi Desa Cisaat juga sesuai untuk dijadikan tempat pengembangan wisata buatan dan juga wisata budaya berbasis kearifan lokal sebagai salah satu mata pencaharian penduduk yang tentunya hal ini tidak hanya menguntungkan penduduk namun juga sangat menarik untuk mengundang wisatawan berkunjung ke wilayah tersebut sebagai salah satu referensi wilayah yang kaya akan objek pariwisata. Namun dengan lokasi yang terletak di dataran tinggi, tentunya Desa Cisaat menyimpan potensi bencana yang harus diperhatikan dan diantisipasi baik oleh penduduk setempat maupun wisatawan yang hendak berkunjung ke Desa Cisaat. Permasalahan yang diperoleh berdasarkan hasil wawancara kepada Kelompok Sadar Wisata dan aparat pemerintah Desa Cisaat, mereka belum memiliki pemahaman terhadap potensi bencana yang terdapat di Desa Cisaat. Selain itu, mereka juga belum memiliki alur koordinasi berupa Forum Pengurangan Resiko Bencana yang dibentuk oleh pemerintah Desa. Oleh sebab itu dilaksanakanlah kegiatan ini untuk meningkatkan kapasitas Kelompok Sadar Wisata terhadap resiko bencana di Desa Cisaat yang diharapkan sebagai kelompok ini dapat menjadi mitra untuk meningkatkan kapasitas Penduduk Desa Cisaat dan Wisatawan Desa Cisaat terhadap resiko bencana di wilayah tersebut secara keseluruhan. Peningkatan kapasitas kelompok sadar wisata terhadap resiko bencana ditunjukkan dengan bertambahnya pengetahuan mereka dalam memahami potensi bencana yang terdapat di Desa Cisaat.

Abstract

Abstract: Earthquakes are a disaster that is difficult to predict. This is why every time an earthquake occurs it always causes huge losses, not only loss of property but up to the loss of life. Strengthening preparedness in dealing with earthquake disasters is absolutely necessary in order to build community resilience in responding to earthquakes to minimize the potential for a larger impact. Improving earthquake disaster preparedness for the people of Bukit Duri Village aims to increase the community's ability to deal with earthquake disasters. The method used is through direct socialization related to preparedness actions before the disaster, during the disaster, and after the earthquake. The results of the implementation show that participants can understand well the characteristics of earthquake disasters, risk factors in the living environment, and actions needed before, during, and after an earthquake. This is evidenced by the evaluation results in the form of pre-test and post-test which showed an increase in participants' knowledge related to earthquake disaster preparedness which increased by 36.4%. During the pre-test, the total score was 58.8% and during the post-test, the total score was 93.2%  Keywords: disaster; earthquake; preparedness Abstrak: Gempa bumi merupakan bencana yang sulit untuk diprediksi kejadiannya, hal ini yang menyebabkan setiap kali kejadian gempa bumi senantiasa menimbulkan kerugian yang besar bukan hanya kerugian harta benda namun sampai dengan korban jiwa. Penguatan kesiapsiagaan dalam menghadapi bencana gempa bumi mutlak diperlukan dalam rangka mengbangunan ketahanan masyarakat dalam merespon gempa bumi untuk meminimumkan potensi dampak yang lebih besar. Peningkatan kesiapsiagaan bencana gempa bumi bagi masyarakat Kelurahan Bukit Duri bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan masyarakat dalam menghadapi bencana gempa bumi. Metode yang digunakan adalah melalui sosialisasi secara langsung terkait tindakan kesiapsiagaan saat sebelum bencana, saat bencana dan setelah bencana gempa bumi. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan bahwa peserta dapat memahami dengan baik karakteristik bencana gempa bumi, factor-faktor yang berisiko pada lingkungan tempat tinggal, tindakan yang diperlukan sebelum, saat terjadi dan setelah gempa bumi. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil evaluai berupa pre test dan post test yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan peserta terkait kesiapsiagaan bencana gempa bumi yang mengalami peningkatan sebesar 36,4 %. Saat pre test total nilai keseluruhan sebesar 58,8 % dan saat post test total nilai menjadi 93,2 %Kata kunci: bencana; gempa bumi; kesiapsiagaan
