Abstract

Budidaya udang windu merupakan alternatif yang tepat meski dikembangkan dengan sistem pemberdayaan masyarokat pedesaan pesisir dan pulau-pulau kecil di Maluku Utara, pengembangan budidaya dengan menerapkan tiga ha/ utama yaitu ; optimalisasi sumber daya a/am, kelestarian lingkungan, peningkatan pendapatan masyarakat Daerah obi merupokan salah satu daeroh pengembangan usaha budidaya karena mempunyai daya dukung daerah yang sangat baik, dengan penggunaan teknik pengembangan usaha budidaya udang air payau ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan, bagi pemerintah, masyarakat dalam pengembangan usaha budidaya udang windu di daeroh tersebut. Teknik pengembangan ini terbagi atas beberapa bagian yaitu Program usaha budidaya udang windu; Teknik pengembangan dan seleksi benih dan Teknik penanganan pasca panen

Abstract

Ekosistem pesisir umumnya terdiri atas 3 komponen penyusun yaitu lamun, terumbu karang serta mangrove. Bersama-sama ketiga ekosistem tersebut membuat wilayah pesisir menjadi daerah yang relatif sangat subur dan produktif. Komunitas Lamun sangat berperan penting pada fungsi-fungsi biologis dan fisik dari lingkungan pesisir. Pola zonasi padang lamun adalah gambaran yang berupa rangkaian/model lingkungan dengan dasar kondisi ekologis yang sama pada padang lamun. Aktivitas manusia di sekitar pesisir dapat berupa pertanian, peternakan dan pelabuhan tradisional serta pemukiman penduduk. Oleh karena aktivitas manusia yang tidak memperhatikan lingkungan pesisir akan mengakibatkan perubahan komunitas lamun sebagai penunjang ekosistem pesisir. Banyak kegiatan pembangunan di wilayah pesisir telah mengorbankan ekosistem padang lamun, seperti kegiatan reklamasi untuk pembangunan kawasan industri atau pelabuhan ternyata menurut data yang diperoleh telah terjadi pengurangan terhadap luasan kawasan padang lamun, Sehingga pertumbuhan, produksi ataupun biomasanya akan mengalami penyusutan. Di sisi lain masih kurang upaya yang kita berikan untuk menyelamatkan ekosistem ini. Meskipun data mengenai kerusakan ekosistem padang lamun tidak tersedia tetapi faktanya sudah banyak mengalami degradasi akibat aktivitas di darat. Sebagai sumber daya pesisir, ekosistem padang lamun memiliki multi fungsi untuk menunjang sistem kehidupan dan berperan penting dalam dinamika pesisir dan laut, terutama perikanan pantai sehingga pemeliharaan dan rehabilitasi ekosistem lamun merupakan salah satu alasan untuk tetap mempertahankan keberadaan ekosistem tersebut.

Abstract

Pembuatan kapal secara tradisional umumnya tidak didasari pada perencanaan dan perhitungan hidrostatis sehingga dalam pembuatannya selalu ada perubahan karakteristik pada bentuk kapal. Sama halnya dengan pembuatan kapal, penentuan besarnya pompa mengail juga tanpa melalui perhitungan mengenai daya yang akibatnya system penyemprot tidak bekerja dengan baik, oleh karena itu penelitian ini dilakukan untukmengevaluasi bentuk disain, serta menghitung besarnya daya yang dibutuhkan utuk pompa mengail pada kapal tipe pole and line di pelabuhan dufa dufa Provinsi Maluku Utara. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kapal sampel pole and line yang berada di Pelabuhan Dufa-dufa Provinsi Maluku Utara mempunyai nilai rasio perbandingan L/D dan L/B dan nilai koefisien bentuk kapal sudah sesuai dengan standar nilai yang ideal, tetapi nilai rasio perbandingan B/D pada kapal sampel tidak sesuai dengan standar nilai yang ideal untuk kapal jenis pole and line dan dilihat bahwa penentuan pompa mengail pada kapal sampel bearnya tidak sesuai karena daya yang dibutuhkan sesuai dengan perhitungan adalah 1.61 KW tetapi daya pompa yang diguakan melebihi yaitu dengan kisaran 1.7-3.7. Hal ini berpengaruh terhadap penyemprotan air pada saat operasi penangkapan atai penyemprotan untuk pengelabuan tidak sempurna.

Abstract

Pengolahan pindang ikan, biasanya menghasilkan sisa hasil rebusan (residu) dan tidak jarang dimanfaatkan, petis dan kecap ikan adalah bentuk olahan ikan dengan memanfaatkan limbah hasil olahan (ekstrak ikan), dimana proses pengolahannya diberi tambahan bumbu-bumbu dan gula merah, yang direbus hingga mengental dan diberi tambahan air tajin sebagai pengemulsi untuk membentuk pasta ikan, sehingga dapal meningkatkan nilai ekonomis limbah cair hasil pemindangan menjadi produk pangan yang bernilai gizi tinggi. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 2 bulan mulai dari November-Denember 2008 bertempat di Laboraiorium Teknotogi Hasil Perikanan UMMU-Ternate. dengan tujuan melihat pengaruh konsentrasi garam (NaCl) terhadap mutu petis ikan layang. Uji organoleplik dan mikrobiulogi digunakan untuk melihat mutu, hasil uji organoleptik menunjukan bahwa petis dengan lama penyimpanan 3 hari memiliki nilai organoleptik rata-rata cukup baik dan dapat diterima, sedangkan petis dengan lama penyimpanan 0 hari, nilai penerimaannya kecil bila dibanding dengan lama penyimpanan 3 hari, sedangkan daya suka menunjukan bahwa tingkat kesukaan konsitmen terhadap perlakuan A1, A2 dan A3, pada petis ikan dengan konsentrasi NaCl 20% lebih disukai dari pada petis ikan dengan konsentrasi NaCl 40 % dan 60%. Uji mikrobiologi Untuk perlakuan (A1, konsentrasi NaCl 20%) menunjukan pertumbuhan koloni yang sedikit dalam jumlah hitungan cawan dengan nilai rata-rata ALT (11,332 kl/gr) pada penyimpanan hari ke-nol, pada penyimpanan hari ketiga hitungan pertumbuhan jumlah koloni yang sedikit terdapat pada perlakuan A2, konsentrasi NaCl 40%), dengan hitungan koloni (22.000 kl/gr).

Abstract

This research was carried out in March 2021, in Sasa Village, Ternate City, South Ternate District. North Maluku Province. Data Analysis To be able to answer the purpose of this study, an analysis of the data obtained was carried out and then interpreted the data. Data analysis was carried out in stages starting from the analysis of the fish resource domain, namely the CPUE study, fish size, proportion of scad caught, species composition, "Range Collapse"/(fishing ground) of fish resources and ETP Species (which are protected. Analysis later continued to get the composite value of the fish resource domain, where the results of the scale conversion value are displayed in the form of a flag model. The results of the analysis of the composite value in the fish resource domain obtained a value of 88, so it can be seen that for the fish resource domain the level of management is still in good condition. “Excellent” with phage mode “DARK GREEN.” In the processing of of Mackerel scad in island waters, it is classified as very good.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of anchovy meal fortification on organoleptic quality and determining the best product based on a completely randomized design and Bayes method. The results showed that based on the results of the analysis using the Bayes method, canned tuna porridge with 3% anchovy flour fortification (A1 treatment) was the best product with a weight of 4.00 tilapia, followed by treatments A0 and A2 with a weighted value of 3.23 each. and 2.62.

Abstract

Mackerl scad, is an economically important small pelagic fish species in the waters of Ternate Island which is exploited by fishermen with various types of active fishing gear such as purse seine, bagan and gill net. The use of fishing gear that is less selective with fishing activities throughout the year and not equipped with utilization regulations, is expected to cause pressure on skipjack stocks in the waters of Ternate Island. . This research is a type of empirical research carried out using the experimental fishing method, in which the researcher participates in fishing activities for 120 trips and samples of the fish caught are taken for the measurement process in the Lab. Processing of Fishery Products for 5 months, from October 2022 to March 2023. The results showed that the condition of the flyfish population parameter in Ternate Island waters was relatively stable with a maximum length value of 33.49 cm, a growth coefficient of 0.99 per month, fishing mortality 0.42, natural mortality 1.71 , the exploitation rate is 0.2 and the SPR is 42% and the recruitment value is Y/R 1.9% and B/R 56.8%. Where from these results indicate the need for an increase in fishing effort until the exploitation value reaches 0.4 for optimal and sustainable management.

Abstract

Increasing the exploitation of anchovy resources is generally done by predicting the fishing area, because anchovy is a small pelagic species and is a neritic resource which is strongly influenced by oceanographic factors in its distribution. Therefore this study was conducted with the aim of analyzing the distribution of sea surface temperature in relation to the catch of anchovies in the waters of Dodinga Bay. This research uses the experimental fishing method by analyzing data in the form of catch data, catch position plot data and sea surface temperature data which is analyzed with geographic information system analysis and statistical analysis which is expected to answer the research objectives. The results showed that the condition of the sea surface temperature distribution during the study was quite fluctuating, ranging from 37.4 oC - 30.0 oC, with anchovy CPUE values in the range of 76.5 - 564.0 kg/trip and these two variables have a close relationship with the regression equation formed. y = -0.876x + 6.9243 with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.845 and the highest catches are in the temperature range of 27.6 - 29.8 oC. The results of this study are preliminary information so that in an effort to manage anchovy to an optimum level it is necessary to carry out field validation.

Abstract

Fisheries activities in Ternate City are developing well, this is supported by the operation of the Fish Landing Base (PPI) and the Ternate Nusantara Fishing Port. Information on effective fishing units and operations that have high productivity is important in the development of capture fisheries in PPI Dufa-Dufa, so that purse seine fisheries in PPI Dufa-Dufa is expected to be profitable and sustainable, therefore research on purse seine vessel operations needs to be done by considering all related aspects. The research took place from June to August 2014 at PPI Dufa-Dufa Ternate City by using descriptive analysis and effectiveness and efficiency analysis using scoring method to determine the level of effectiveness and efficiency analysis of purse seine vessel operational activities. The results of the study found that larger vessels (GT more than 20) have higher effectiveness and efficiency values than small vessels (GT less than 20). Purse seine operations at PPI Dufa-Dufa still allow for the development of operational activities, namely the development of new areas for fishing, improving fishing technology and increasing the quality value of catches in the form of training in handling catches

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Ternate Nusantara Fishing Port (PPN), North Maluku Province in April 2023 with the aim of identifying the handling applied to madidihang fishing vessels in Ternate PPN, determining the effect of handling on the quality of madidihang landed at Ternate PPN and determining the appropriate form of handling on madidihang fishing vessels in Ternate PPN. This research uses a case study method conducted at Ternate VAT, a case study is a detailed examination of an object by focusing on a case intensively and in detail. In this case observing the effect of madidihang handling carried out while at sea and when unloading is carried out on the quality of madidihang with observations made on two ships namely: hand line ships and long boats. The results showed that the handling applied by hand line boats was better, based on the appearance of the landed madidihang, more brilliant and lack of scratches on the body and the proportion of defects (based on the weight of madidihang less than 17 kg) was smaller (5%) than the tonda fishing boat, the appearance was less brilliant and there were many scratches on the body of the landed madidihang and the proportion of defects was greater (based on the weight of madidihang less than 17 kg), by 27%.
