Abstract

ABSTRAK Bahasa Indonesia sangat perlu dipahami oleh siswa, salah satu materi pembelajarannya yakni teks prosedur. Teks prosedur merupakan suatu bentuk teks yang berisi langkah-langkah atau tahapan yang harus ditempuh untuk melakukan sesuatu sehingga mudah dan benar dalam proses pengerjaanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui validitas, kepraktisan dan keefektifan penggunaan media video animasi sebagai media pembelajaran teks prosedur pada siswa SMP Negeri 1 Sendana khususnya kelas VII dan mengacu pada kurikulum merdeka. Jenis penelitian yakni penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development (R&D)) dengan metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Model yang digunakan merupakan model Baker and Schultz meliputi tahapan perumusan, tahap spesifikasi langkah, tahap uji coba soal, tahap pengembangan produk, tahap uji coba produk, tahap revisi produk, dan tahap analisis untuk pemanfaatan. Subjek penelitian yaitu ahli materi, ahli media, guru dan siswa dengan menggunakan angket dan lembar evaluasi. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yakni wawancara, tes hasil belajar, observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa responden guru dan siswa menyatakan perlu dan sangat membutuhkan media pembelajaran video animasi dalam proses belajar atau evaluasi pembelajaran. Pada analisis validitas, validator merupakan ahli yang dipilih oleh peneliti telah memenuhi kualifikasi untuk menilai media pembelajaran menyatakan bahwa 97,7% media ini layak dan direkomendasikan untuk dapat digunakan dalam evaluasi Bahasa Indonesia khususnya pembelajaran teks prosedur untuk siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Majene yang ditinjau dari berbagai aspek. Taraf kepraktisan respon guru memperoleh nilai 89,2% dan respon siswa 80,00% menyatakan sangat setuju dengan media pembelajaran video animasi teks prosedur sederhana khususnya pada langkah menulis atau membuat teks prosedur sederhana dalam media video animasi yang bagus dan menarik. Hasil keefektifan media dalam memperoleh hasil ketuntasan belajar siswa adalah, 99%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran video animasi teks prosedur sederhana yang dikembangkan sudah valid tanpa revisi. Penerapan media edukasi video animasi juga dinilai sangat menarik dengan persentase 86 %. Model pengembangan Baker and Schultz yang dipilih, telah dilakukan dan terpenuhi secara keseluruhan. Abstract

Writing is a basic skill that is important for students in the learning process. However, many students in grade I of SD Swasta Muhammadiyah Bantaeng have difficulty in writing. This can be caused by various factors, including lack of previous learning experience and low motivation. The purpose of this study was to analyze the difficulties in beginning writing in grade I students and to understand how the application of the SAS method can help overcome these difficulties. The method used in this study was descriptive qualitative, with 15 students as research subjects. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity was obtained from triangulation of techniques and sources, while data analysis was obtained using Miles and Huberman's interactive model. The results of the study showed that the SAS method was effective in improving students' beginning writing skills, although many students still needed additional guidance. This study recommends the need for collaboration between teachers, parents, and students in the learning process in order to overcome beginning writing difficulties effectively.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the critical reading skills of fifth-grade students at the UPTD of SD Negeri 48 Barru through the application of the Deliberate Practice method. The study used Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. The subjects were 18 fifth-grade students. The instruments used were a critical reading skills test, observation sheets, and documentation. The results showed a significant increase in students' critical reading skills after the implementation of the Deliberate Practice method. In the first cycle, the improvement did not reach the success indicator, but in the second cycle, students' critical reading skills reached the set target. Thus, the Deliberate Practice method is an effective learning strategy to improve elementary school students' critical reading skills.

Abstract

Nirwana S. 2025. Improving Students’ Beginning Reading Skills in Grade II of SDN Tidung Using the Direct Instruction Learning Model Assisted by FlashCards. Thesis. Elementary School Teacher Education Department, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Makassar. Supervisor 1 Abd Munir Kondongan and Haslinda. The main problem in this study is that students’ initial reading ability is still classified as low. This study aims to describe the improvement in the initial reading ability of second-grade students at Tidung Elementary School using the Direct Instruction learning model assisted by picture cards. This type of research is Class Action Research which consists of two cycles, each cycle is carried out in two meetings. The research procedures include planning, implementation of actions, observation and reflection. The subjects in this study were 20 students of grade II of SDN Tidung, Rappocini District, Makassar City. The collected data were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative analysis.The results of this study indicate that there was an increase in student learning activities from cycle I to cycle II, student learning outcomes increased with an average score difference of 16, the average score of student learning outcomes in cycle I was 64 increasing to 80 in cycle II. Students’ initial reading learning completeness also increased by 45%, in cycle I which was completed individually out of 20 students only 11 (55%) students achieved learning completeness (KKM) and classical learning completeness had not been achieved. While in cycle II of 20 students there were 20 (100%) students who had achieved learning completeness (KKM) and classical learning completeness was achieved. This means that learning completeness in cycle II was achieved classically because the number of students who completed was more than 80%.Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that the initial reading ability of class II students of Tidung Elementary School, Rappocini District, Makassar City through the application of the direct instruction learning model assisted by picture card media has increased.

Abstract

Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) terhadap Kemampuan Mengekstraksi Informasi dalam Teks Naratif Siswa Kelas Lima SDN Gunung Sari II. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) terhadap Kemampuan Mengekstraksi Informasi dalam Teks Naratif siswa kelas lima SDN Gunung Sari II. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pra-eksperimental. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terlihat bahwa hasil belajar siswa sebelum penerapan Model Pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) sebesar 62,11 termasuk dalam kategori rendah, sedangkan setelah penerapan Model Pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) termasuk dalam kategori tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata 83,56. Sebelum penerapan model, terdapat 13 siswa (72%) yang dinyatakan tidak lengkap secara individual, dan setelah penerapan model, terdapat 15 siswa (83%) yang menyelesaikannya dengan rata-rata normalized N-gain pada siswa kelas lima sebesar 0,56. Ini berarti bahwa perolehan N yang dinormalisasi dan hasil belajar siswa berada dalam kategori sedang, yang berarti bahwa metode ini efektif untuk hasil belajar siswa kelas lima SDN Gunung Sari II dan lebih baik daripada KKTP.

Abstract

The main issue in this study is how to improve the reading skills of second-grade students at UPT SD Negeri 107 Inpres Kunjung, Takalar Regency, through the use of alphabet flashcards. This study aims to improve the reading skills of second-grade students at UPT SD Negeri 107 Inpres Kunjung, Takalar Regency, through the use of alphabet flashcards. This study is a classroom action research consisting of two cycles, with each cycle conducted over four meetings. The research procedure included planning, implementation of actions, observation, and reflection. The subjects in this study were 26 second grade students at UPT SD Negeri 107 Inpres Kunjung, Takalar Regency. The results showed that in cycle I, only 7 or 27% of the 26 students individually met the learning achievement criteria (KKTP) or were in the low category. Classically, the criteria were not met because the average score was 57.6%. Meanwhile, in cycle II, 23 out of 26 students, or 88%, met the KKTP, and classically, the average score obtained was 82.3%, which was in the very high category. Based on the above research results, it can be concluded that the Indonesian language learning outcomes of second-grade students at UPT SD Negeri 107 Inpres Kunjung, Takalar Regency, through the use of alphabet flashcards have improved.
