Abstract

This study is grounded in consumer protection theory and the concept of asymmetric information in digital transactions, which explain the imbalance of information and bargaining power between business actors and consumers in electronic commerce. The research aims to analyze consumer protection in live shopping transactions of thrift products on TikTok, identify potential risks and violations of consumer rights, and examine business actors’ legal responsibility and dispute resolution mechanisms under Indonesian law. This study employs a normative juridical approach through library research and document analysis of primary legal materials, including the Consumer Protection Law, the Electronic Information and Transactions Law, and regulations on electronic commerce, supported by relevant scholarly literature. Data were analyzed using qualitative normative analysis by interpreting legal provisions and relating them to the characteristics of live shopping practices. The results show that although the legal framework is comprehensive, the real-time and persuasive nature of live shopping increases the risk of information asymmetry, product misrepresentation, unilateral no-refund policies, and evidentiary difficulties. The novelty of this research lies in its specific focus on live shopping thrift transactions as a digital trade model that heightens consumer vulnerability.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the quality of the implementation of the Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) program through direct mentoring and counseling by lecturers in Pangkajene and Kepulauan Regency. The background of this activity is based on the persistence of several challenges in KKN implementation, including suboptimal program planning, limited student capacity in identifying community needs, and the lack of effective monitoring and supervision in the field. The implementation method employed an intensive mentoring and continuous counseling approach conducted directly by lecturers to students throughout the program. The stages included preparation, implementation of mentoring and counseling, as well as monitoring and evaluation. The results indicate an improvement in students’ ability to design community-based programs, implement activities systematically, and solve field-related problems adaptively. Mentoring also contributed to increased community participation and enhanced social interaction between students and the community. Overall, this activity demonstrates that the active role of lecturers in mentoring KKN significantly enhances the effectiveness of community service programs and strengthens the role of higher education institutions in sustainable community empowerment

Abstract

This Student Creativity Program (PKM) aims to increase the understanding of students of the Faculty of Social Sciences at Makassar State University about the role of the Ombudsman in public services. With a focus on training and interactive activities, the PKM aims to provide an in-depth understanding of the role of the Ombudsman as well as optimal ways of monitoring and supervision related to public services. Before the PKM, only 40% of students understood the role of the Ombudsman. After participating in PKM activities, students' understanding increased significantly to 75%. This result reflects the positive impact of PKM on increasing students' awareness of the role of the Ombudsman. Students also appreciated this activity, considering it very useful for increasing the role and supervision of the Ombudsman in public services. Thus, this PKM not only contributed to students' understanding but also taught them to participate in ensuring the quality of public services through the role of the Ombudsman.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman melalui sosialisasi dengan memberikan pelatihan mengenai kecerdasan artifisial untuk guru jenjang sekolah menengah pertama Kabupaten Wajo.  Kecerdasan Artifisial dalam konteks pendidikan dasar dan menengah, umumnya diperkenalkan sebagai teknologi yang memungkinkan komputer untuk melakukan tugas yang biasanya memerlukan kecerdasan manusia. Metode penyampaian informasi dan materi berupa sosialisasi melalui pelatihan mengenai kecerdasan artifisial. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya memberikan materi sosialisasi, melainkan juga memberikan penjelasan materi tentang berbagai informasi yang ingin disampaikan kepada peserta atau sasaran. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu pembelajaran kecerdasan artifisial berpotensi dalam mengubah cara mengajar dan belajar dan penggunaannya sebagai media dan pendukung pembelajaran sehingga pembelajaran bisa berjalan dengan baik serta maksimal dan sangat membantu guru atau pendidik dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas kepada siswa sehingga lebih mudah dalam memahami materi pembelajaran yang diberikan. Pentingnya pembelajaran kecerdasan artifisial ini kepada siswa sekolah menengah pertama yaitu dapat meningkatkan efisiensi proses pembelajaran dengan mengotomatisasi tugas-tugas administratif yang memakan waktu, sehingga memungkinkan pengajar untuk lebih berkonsentrasi pada interaksi langsung dengan siswa.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan siswa merupakan salah satu kompetensi penting yang perlu dikembangkan dalam pendidikan, namun dalam praktiknya masih banyak siswa yang memiliki keterbatasan dalam keterampilan kepemimpinan, seperti komunikasi, kerja sama, dan pengambilan keputusan. Permasalahan ini juga ditemukan di MAN Insan Cendekia Gowa, di mana siswa memiliki potensi akademik yang baik, tetapi belum didukung dengan pengalaman langsung dalam mengembangkan kepemimpinan. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan kepemimpinan siswa melalui pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman. Peserta kegiatan terdiri dari 50 siswa kelas X dengan metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Pada tahap pelaksanaan, digunakan metode ceramah, diskusi kelompok, simulasi (role play), serta kegiatan team building. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test, observasi, serta refleksi peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa yang ditandai dengan kenaikan rata-rata nilai pre-test sebesar 59,72 menjadi 74,78 pada post-test. Selain itu, terjadi peningkatan pada aspek afektif dan psikomotorik, seperti kepercayaan diri, kemampuan komunikasi, dan kerja sama tim. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman terbukti menunjukkan peningkatan dalam membentuk karakter dan keterampilan kepemimpinan siswa secara lebih aplikatif. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model pengembangan kepemimpinan siswa yang berkelanjutan di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the influence of product innovation on product purchasing decisions at afour pinky beauty in Barru district. This research uses quantitative research methods. Data collection techniques carried out are through observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The sample used in this study was 89 consumers of Afour Pinky Beauty in Barru District. The data obtained from the research results were processed using data analysis and using the SPSS 25 application which consisted of validity tests, reliability tests and descriptive statistical analysis and inferential analysis of the data obtained. The results showed that product innovation and purchasing decisions for afour pinky beauty variables in Barru district had a significant influence. This was proven based on the results of a simple linear regression test and a correlation coefficient test of 0.736, which means that the relationship between product innovation and purchasing decisions is strong. And the determinant coefficient test ????2 was obtained at 0.542, which means that the effect of product innovation on purchasing decisions for Afour Pinky Beauty products in Barru Regency obtained a value of 54.2% while the remaining 45.8% was influenced by other factors.
