Abstract

Perencanaan karir  merupakan salah satu aspek penting yang harus diperhatikan oleh setiap individu sebagai upaya mempersiapkan diri untuk memasuki dunia kerja. Di lingkungan perguruan tinggi, tak sedikit mahasiswa masih mengalami kesulitan dalam merencanakan karirnya. Hal itu disebabkan karena masih minimnya pemahaman tentang dunia kerja yang mana itu tidak disampaikan secara optimal saat mereka berada dibangku kuliah. Sehingga perguruan tinggi bukan hanya tempat untuk mendapatkan pendidikan formal, tetapi juga menjadi lingkungan yang mempengaruhi perkembangan holistik mahasiswa. Salah satu elemen penting dalam pengembangan mahasiswa adalah keterlibatan mereka dalam kegiatan di luar kelas, seperti Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM). UKM di lingkungan perguruan tinggi dianggap sebagai wadah yang memberikan kesempatan bagi mahasiswa untuk mengembangkan diri di luar kegiatan akademis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki dampak keanggotaan dalam Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) Pramuka terhadap perencanaan karier mahasiswa di Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Mas Said Surakarta.  Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi partisipatif. Partisipan penelitian terdiri dari mahasiswa aktif yang tergabung dalam UKM Pramuka, yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keanggotaan dalam UKM Pramuka memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap perencanaan karier mahasiswa. Mahasiswa yang terlibat dalam Pramuka cenderung memiliki pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang minat dan nilai-nilai pribadi mereka, mengembangkan keterampilan soft skill yang penting dalam dunia kerja, serta membentuk jaringan sosial yang luas. Selain itu, keanggotaan dalam Pramuka juga memberikan kesempatan bagi mahasiswa untuk mendapatkan dukungan mentorship yang berharga dalam merencanakan dan mengembangkan karir mereka.

Abstract

The parenting style a father provides differs from the parenting pattern a mother provides. Children whom their fathers raise tend to develop creative abilities to justify their behavior. In the Polan area, Polanharjo District, children whose fathers educate them while their mothers work as migrant workers have the freedom to organize study activities, worship, eat, and even rest. Most importantly, the child carries out all the daily routines, even though they do not match the expectations. This study aims to find out how the parenting style of a father whose wife is female workforce provides attention and fulfills their child's rights. The subjects were three fathers who educated their children from 12 to 18 years old. Interviews, documentation, and observation are applied as data collection techniques. This study showed that fathers also play a significant role in shaping children's character. Modify the father's role not only as the backbone of the family but also as a discussion partner regarding career planning and crucial decision-making. The father's parenting style does not entirely ignore the child's feelings and desires; instead, it encourages the child to reconsider the effects of their decisions and attitudes. This study showed that the three subjects tended to use democratic parenting styles.

Abstract

The phenomenon of premarital relationships leading to unplanned pregnancies has become prevalent in societal environments. Such pregnancies often result in parental discontent, although instances of parental acceptance towards these pregnancies have been identified. This research aims to elucidate the influencing factors on parental self-acceptance and the stages of self-acceptance experienced by parents with unmarried pregnant daughters. Employing a qualitative approach, this study takes the form of a case study. Data collection utilized purposive sampling techniques with four key informants. The research revealed that the portrayal of self-acceptance among parents with unmarried pregnant daughters includes: 1) Embracing human nature, 2) Recognizing limitations, 3) Possessing self-tolerance, 4) Having the confidence to make decisions, 5) Holding firm convictions, and 6) Objectively accepting criticism. The process of self-acceptance unfolds through several stages, namely denial, anger, depression, and ultimately, acceptance. The attainment of self-acceptance in these four subjects is attributed to the accountability of the male counterpart and a genuine willingness to embrace fate as a reference point for personal improvement.Keywords: Self-Acceptance, Unmarried PregnancyAbstrakKasus pergaulan bebas yang menyebabkan kehamilan di luar nikah sudah banyak terjadi di lingkungan masyarakat. Kehamilan di luar nikah seringkali berdampak pada kemarahan orang tua, namun ditemukan beberapa kasus yang menunjukkan keberterimaan orang tua terhadap kehamilan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan aspek-aspek yang mempengaruhi penerimaan diri orang tua dan tahapan penerimaan diri orang tua yang memiliki anak hamil di luar nikah. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Dalam pengambilan data peneliti menggunakan teknik purposive sampling terhadap 4 informan utama. Penelitian menemukan bahwa gambaran penerimaan diri orang tua yang memiliki anak hamil di luar nikah meliputi 1) Menerima sifat kemanusiaan, 2) Menyadari Keterbatasan, 3) Memiliki toleransi diri 4) Memiliki keyakinan untuk mengambil keputusan 5) Memiliki pendirian, 6) Dapat menerima celaan secara objektif. Adapun proses penerimaan diri berlangsung melalui beberapa tahap yaitu tahap penolakan, kemarahan, depresi lalu menerima. Tercapainya fase penerimaan diri pada keempat subjek tersebut disebabkan oleh adanya pertanggung jawaban pihak laki-laki dan adanya keikhlasan menerima takdir sebagai acuan untuk memperbaiki diri.Kata Kunci: Penerimaan Diri, Hamil Di luar Nikah

Abstract

This qualitative study examines the understanding and attitudes of TPQ (Taman Pendidikan al-Qur'an) teachers in Sawit District, Boyolali, Indonesia towards religious moderation and the factors influencing these attitudes. The research used a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis to explore the lived experiences and perspectives of these teachers. The study emphasizes the significance of religious moderation such as tawasuth (moderation), national commitment, tolerance, cultural accommodation, and anti-violence in fostering societal harmony. It highlights key challenges, opportunities, and supports within the moderation learning process. This research is distinctive in its focus on TPQ teachers, a critical yet underexplored group in religious education. The findings underscore the need for enhanced educational initiatives, promotion of moderation values, and empowerment of influential societal figures to cultivate stronger attitudes of religious moderation. By addressing regional and educational contexts, the study offers new insights into grassroots-level efforts to promote religious moderation.Studi kualitatif ini meneliti pemahaman dan sikap guru TPQ (Taman Pendidikan al-Qur'an) di Kecamatan Sawit Boyolali, Indonesia terhadap moderasi beragama dan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi sikap tersebut. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan analisis dokumen untuk mengeksplorasi pengalaman dan perspektif hidup para guru tersebut. Studi ini menekankan pentingnya moderasi beragama seperti tawasuth (moderasi), komitmen nasional, toleransi, akomodasi budaya, dan antikekerasan dalam membina kerukunan masyarakat. Studi ini menyoroti tantangan, peluang, dan dukungan utama dalam proses pembelajaran moderasi. Penelitian menjadi unik karena berfokus pada guru TPQ, kelompok yang kritis namun kurang dieksplorasi dalam pendidikan agama. Temuan penelitian menggarisbawahi perlunya peningkatan inisiatif pendidikan, promosi nilai-nilai moderasi, dan pemberdayaan tokoh masyarakat yang berpengaruh untuk menumbuhkan sikap moderasi agama yang lebih kuat. Dengan membahas konteks regional dan pendidikan, penelitian ini menawarkan wawasan baru tentang upaya masyarakat akar rumput untuk mempromosikan moderasi agama.

Abstract

The formation of manners from an early age is crucial in building children's character with noble morals. Children at the Al-Quran Educational Park (TPA) often face challenges in understanding and applying adab values ​​in everyday life. This service activity aims to implement the Five Basic ABC Media as an intervention effort to increase understanding and application of etiquette among TPA children. This media is based on five main principles: Accept, Belief, Confidentiality, Empathy and Respect. The method used in this service is an interactive learning method involving 12 TPA children as subjects. Intervention is carried out through various educational activities, such as interactive games, manners simulations, discussions that focus on building positive character. The results of this service activity show that the application of the Five Basic ABC Media can provide practical understanding and ethical behavior to children, which is demonstrated through FGD activities. The conclusion from this service activity is that the Five Basic ABC Media is a fairly effective method in guiding TPA children to understand and apply etiquette in everyday life. It is hoped that this media can be a guide for TPA educators in developing character education based on Islamic values ​​in a comprehensive and enjoyable manner

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar santri melalui bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik behavior contract. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian survey. Subjek yang peneliti gunakan adalah santri TPQ Al-Muttaqien Nusukan. Pemilihan subjek penelitian menggunakan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan kriteria santri yang memiliki taraf motivasi belajar rendah. Peneliti menggunakan kuesioner motivasi belajar hasil modifikasi. Pengambilan data dalam penelitian dilaksanakan sebanyak tiga kali, yang diawali dari pre-test, siklus I, dan siklus II. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rerata di masing-masing siklus. Hasil pre-test sebesar 76.1, pada siklus I berlangsung peningkatan hingga 89.5 dan pada siklus II mencapai 93.8. Dari hasil tersebut diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa peningkatan motivasi belajar dapat terjadi setelah adanya bimbingan kelompok teknik behavior contract.

Abstract

This study aims to develop effective educational learning media in preventing pornography addiction and providing a deep understanding of the negative impacts of pornographic content on mental development and adolescent behavior in class 9D students of SMP Negeri 2 Teras Boyolali. The phenomenon of pornography addiction among adolescents is a serious concern because of its impact on psychological, social, and academic development. The media that will be used in the implementation of group guidance services for students at SMP Negeri 2 Teras is by using power point and audio visual media. The method of implementing this counseling service is based on a cognitive approach. One of the techniques of the cognitive approach that can be used to prevent someone from becoming addicted to pornographic content is by providing psychoeducation to participants. The results of the study showed that this learning media can improve students' understanding of the dangers of pornography and provide strategies to avoid negative content. Thus, this learning media can be used as an effective educational tool to prevent pornography addiction in adolescent students.

Abstract

Effective time management is an important skill for children to achieve their learning goals and daily activities. This study aims to implement time management through the use of a daily schedule specifically designed for children. The methods used in this activity include the presentation of materials related to time management, training in making a daily schedule, and short interviews with participants to evaluate the impact of the activity. This activity was carried out in a participatory manner with a fun approach and appropriate to the age of the participants. The results of the interviews showed that children felt more organized and were able to manage their daily activities better after participating in this program. In addition, they also reported improvements in focus, discipline, and productivity. Parents also observed positive changes in children's daily habits. This activity is expected to be the first step in educating children about the importance of good time management and forming positive habits that will be useful in their future lives.

Abstract

Family is the smallest part of society but has a big role in forming a dynamic and developing society in accordance with the times. In a family, there are at least a father, mother and child who are often called the nuclear family. Each family member plays a role in maintaining the integrity of the family, especially the father and mother. This study aims to identify the determinants of family resilience in disabled couples. This study uses a case study method with data analysis techniques including pattern matching, explanation making and time series analysis. The subjects of this study were three disabled couples who had been married for more than 10 years and had children. Data collection instruments used interviews, observations and documentation. The main factors that support family resilience in disabled couples include marital commitment, social support, and religion. Research has shown that the third factor needs to be recognized by disabled couples in particular and the wider community in general, because family resilience in disabled couples is a joint struggle for the couple's extended family. Family resilience can be achieved through managing stress related to disability through effective communication, collaborative problem solving, and access to external resources. However, it is important to remember that resilience is not inherent or static; it is the result of a continuous process of adaptation and learning. Therefore, interventions that support families with disabilities should focus on strengthening social support systems, increasing accessibility, and providing adequate resources.

Abstract

Penyandang disabilitas membutuhkan eksistensi diri untuk dapat dikenal oleh masyarakat sebagai ciptaan Tuhan yang sama-sama mempunyai kelebihan dan kekurangan seperti manusia pada umumnya. Dibutuhkan pembinaan dan pendampingan sebagai sarana dalam meningkatkan kapasitas pemahaman personal branding dan self esteem bagi penyandang disabilitas. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR). Tahapan metode ini meliputi maping sosial, perencanaan program, pelaksanaan program, evaluasi program, identifikasi temuan dan tindak lanjut. Hasil yang dicapai dalam pengabdian ini adalah pemahaman yang baik bagi penyandang disabillitas terkait personal branding dan self esteem. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil pre test dalam kategori rendah, selanjutnya diberikan pembinaan secara menyeluruh tentang personal branding dan self esteem dan hasil post test menunjukan pemahaman meningkat secara signifikan. Perubahan yang terlihat menonjol adalah pemahaman tentang self esteem dan aspek yang berhubungan dengan penghargaan diri. Pada saat dilakukan pre test, peserta pengabdian hanya dapat menjawab paham berkisar 20%, setelah dilakukan post test naik secara signifikan menjadi 70%. Dengan demikian pembinaan ini menghasilkan pemahaman yang menyeluruh kepada penyandang disabilitas terhadap citra diri dan penghargaan terhadap diri baik kekurangan dan kelebihan diri dari penyandang disabilitas di Forum Komunikasi Disabilitas Kudus.
