Abstract

The food crisis is a serious problem in many countries, especially developing countries, even though various steps and policies have been taken to overcome it. Population growth, the intensity of environmental changes such as floods, droughts, extreme variability in temperature or rainfall are triggers for food crises. The threat of a food crisis has an impact on food scarcity, limited food supplie , drastic increases in food and energy prices, high inflation and leading to malnutrition and poverty rates that are difficult to control. However, for Indonesia, apart from the food crisis being a threat, on the other hand the current food crisis could be an opportunity, because Indonesia has substitute food ingredients, one of which is sago, the potential and development of which is in the Meranti Islands Regency, Riau Province. The data analysis technique used to describe the potential of sago and its derivative products is analyzed through SWOT Analysis. The results of this study state that sago is a superior regional product that has enormous opportunities to be developed technically, economically and socially. Technically, the Meranti Islands Regency area is very suitable as a place to grow sago trees with the best quality results in Indonesia. The threat of a food crisis does not apply to Meranti Islands Regency; in fact, the threat has the potential to turn into an economic opportunity. The development of sago as a food substitute requires the role of a government with an entrepreneurial spirit. In the sago development policy and program, the Meranti Islands Regency Government, which has an entrepreneurial spirit, has a Core Strategy, Consequence Strategy, Customer Strategy, Control Strategy and Cultural Strategy. Where this strategy is an embodiment in the form of a technical strategy of the strategy in quadrant II (Diversification) of the SWOT analysis where this position indicates an organization (Meranti Islands Regency) that is strong (sago potential) but still faces big challenges

Abstract

Spicy chips are the flagship product of the MSMEs Keripik Pedas Ibu Iyar, marketed both offline and online with the support of digital marketing strategies. The implementation of digital marketing has proven effective in increasing sales; therefore, this project aims to analyze the application of the strategy, including the challenges and solutions encountered. The MSMEs utilizes Instagram Business and Shopee as platforms for promotion, sales, and customer communication. The results show a significant increase in revenue and market reach to various regions. Active use of social media also helps strengthen brand awareness and attract new customers. However, several challenges remain, such as unstable internet connections, limited human resources, lack of social media management skills, and intense competition among MSMEs in the digital marketplace. The proposed solutions include basic digital marketing training, capacity building for human resources, and optimizing creative and consistent promotional strategies to maintain business competitiveness.

Abstract

The implementation of digital marketing through social media has proven effective in increasing product sales and visibility, particularly for small businesses such as Rumah Mutiara Cake MSMEs. Digital marketing strategies not only focus on boosting sales but also play a key role in building an active community, expanding market reach, and strengthening relationships between entrepreneurs and consumers. This project aims to explore the implementation of digital marketing at Rumah Mutiara Cake MSMEs in Bengkalis District, develop an appropriate digital marketing framework, conduct a SWOT analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, and examine the challenges and solutions encountered during the digital marketing process. The project was carried out through several stages, including preparation, implementation, completion, and reporting, located at Jalan Kelapapati Darat, Bengkalis. The results indicate that implementing digital marketing strategies through social media, particularly Instagram and TikTok, has significantly improved the number of followers, customer engagement, and product sales within one month. This demonstrates that optimal use of social media can serve as an effective tool to support the sustainability and growth of MSMEs in the digital era.

Abstract

The digital era has transformed human lifestyles and demands rapid adaptation across various sectors, including Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). MSMEs play a strategic role in Indonesia’s economy as labor absorbers and developers of local products. However, limited digital literacy and skills often hinder their utilization of digital marketing. This community service program aims to enhance the capacity of the “Indah Donat” MSME in Bengkalis through guidance in implementing digital marketing strategies. The participatory approach includes initial surveys, needs assessment, development of a digital marketing framework, promotion via Google My Business, social media, and online marketplaces, as well as sustainability evaluation. The results show improved capabilities of the partner in managing digital content, expanding market reach, and increasing sales. “Indah Donat” now has an integrated online business profile, structured content calendar, and distribution channels through social media and marketplaces. This approach aligns with the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and modern marketing concepts based on Segmenting, Targeting, and Positioning (STP). In conclusion, the program effectively enhances MSME digital capacity, broadens marketing networks, and strengthens business independence, while contributing to digital transformation and local economic empowerment.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah pendampingan desain kemasan berstandar ekspor pada UMKM Tiga Saudara binaan PT. Pertamina Hulu Rokan, para pelaku usaha atau produsen dapat mendapatkan bimbingan dan dukungan teknis untuk mengembangkan kemasan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pasar global. Hal ini dapat dilakukan melalui penyediaan  informasi tentang standar dan peraturan ekspor yang berlaku, pemberian contoh desain kemasan yang berhasil, serta pendampingan langsung dalam  proses perancangan dan implementasi kemasan  yang sesuai standar ekspor.  Metode yang digunakan adalah pendampingan. Luaran kegiatan (Output)  adalah terselenggaranya kegiatan pendampingan tentang standarisasi desain  kemasan produk UMKM Tiga Saudara sehingga mampu menembus pasar retail, grosir, dan ekspor. Dampak (outcome) kegiatan ini adalah  meningkatnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan UMKM terkait standarisasi  desain kemasan produk dan bertambahnya pangsa pasar, mendapatkan apresiasi masyarakat terhadap Polbeng serta terjalinnya hubungan harmonis  antara Polbeng, Mitra dan masyarakat

Abstract

Potensi Pulau Rupat yang besar dan letak strategis, namun nyatanya masih menghadapi masalah terkait dengan pengelolaan sumber daya alam yang belum maksimal. Salah satunya potensi di wilayah Pesisir Indonesia yang pengelolaan sumber alam hayatinya belum bisa memberikan manfaat dan menjadi komoditas penting bagi kegiatan ekonomi masyarakat. Produksi perikanan Indonesia saat ini masih di dominasi oleh perikanan tangkap. Upaya mengatasi hal tersebut, salah satu alternatif yang dipilih ialah peningkatan produksi perikanan dengan kegiatan agribisnis/budidaya laut. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini ialah Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) yang diawali dengan menggali potensi dan asset yang ada dan dimiliki oleh komunitas. Dalam proses ini diawali dengan identifikasi aset yang potensial yang dimiliki oleh komunitas masyarakat nelayan di Pulau Rupat.  Tahapan menyatukan pandangan dan visi ke dengan secara kolektif. Komunitas masyarakat nelayan di Pulau Rupat bisa dan mampu bangkit dan maju secara bersama dengan memanfaatkan lahan tidur yang dimiliki. Bagaimana mewujudakan kesejahteraan masyarakat dalam meningkatkan pelayanan, pemberdayaan dan peran serta masyarakat untuk meningkatkan daya saing daerah. Proses dimana dilakukan Studi Kelayakan Investasi baik aspek finansial maupun non finansial yang dilakukan oleh tim bersama tokoh komunitas  masyarakat nelayan dan unsur pemerintahan di Pulau Rupat, Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dan dipusatkan di Desa Dungun Baru. Potensi perikanan dan pertambakan di Rupat Tengah Kabupaten Bengkalis ini adalah perikanan laut dan budidaya.Proses edukasi dan sosialisai hasil Studi Kelayakan Investasi kepada seluruh komunitas masyarakat nelayan tentang Kelayakan Investasi dari aspek Finansial, Operasional dan Pemasaran.Melaksanakan kegiatan yang sudah disepakati sebagai salah satu alternatif aktivitas ekonomi masyarakat serta pemanfaatan aset dan potensi yang dimiliki.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the knowledge and skills of residents in Babussalam Village, Rokan Hulu Regency, in processing fruit waste into environmentally friendly energy through simple pyrolysis technology. The activity addresses the abundance of unutilized fruit waste that potentially causes environmental pollution. Conducted on October 30, 2025, with 20 participants from the local community and BUMDes Babussalam, the activity employed participatory methods including socialization, technical training, and ongoing mentoring. Results showed an 85% understanding level of renewable energy, based on pre-test and post-test evaluations improving from 45% to 85%. Participants successfully produced bio-oil and activated charcoal through direct pyrolysis practice using equipment developed from applied research. A village working group was also established under BUMDes Babussalam coordination to develop self-sufficient energy initiatives. The activity proves that integrating applied research, appropriate technology, and community participation creates an effective model for community-based energy empowerment, supporting national energy security and Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 7 on clean energy and Goal 11 on sustainable communities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh isu penerapan Standar Akuntansi Keuangan (SAK) berbasis environmental, social, and governance (ESG) yang diyakini berpotensi memengaruhi kinerja keuangan perusahaan, meskipun bukti empiris yang ada masih menunjukkan hasil yang beragam. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan SAK berbasis ESG terhadap kinerja keuangan yang diukur menggunakan rasio ROA, ROE, dan NPM, dengan mempertimbangkan variabel ukuran perusahaan, leverage, serta perbedaan sektor industri. Populasi penelitian mencakup perusahaan non-keuangan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) pada tahun 2024, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 109 perusahaan yang ditentukan melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh dari laporan tahunan dan laporan keberlanjutan yang dipublikasikan oleh perusahaan, kemudian dianalisis dengan metode regresi kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial ESG, ukuran perusahaan, dan leverage tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap profitabilitas, serta tidak ditemukan perbedaan pengaruh ESG antar sektor industri. Namun, secara simultan ketiga variabel tersebut terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap ROA. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa kombinasi penerapan ESG, ukuran perusahaan, dan leverage tetap memiliki relevansi dalam menjelaskan variasi profitabilitas. Oleh karena itu, integrasi praktik ESG dengan strategi keuangan menjadi penting untuk mendukung keberlanjutan kinerja perusahaan dalam jangka Panjang.
