Abstract

Kurang optimalnya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada pembelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menghasilkan modul ajar alur MERDEKA berbasis outdoor learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis pada pembelajaran IPA di kelas V SD. Tujuan ini dasarkan pada hasil analisis yang menunjukkan bahwa belum optimalnya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada pembelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) model ADDIE dengan tiga tahap yaitu Anaysis, Design, Development. Tahap analisis dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan siswa dan masalah yang dihadapi dalam pembelajaran IPA. Tahap desain melibatkan perencanaan modul pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan aktivitas outdoor learning dengan alur MERDEKA. Pengembangan modul dilakukan dengan merancang materi dan aktivitas yang interaktif dan menarik. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan modul ajar alur MERDEKA berbasis outdoor learning efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis pada pembelajaran IPA kelas V di SD Negeri Sekolah Binaan I Kecamatan Jatibarang Kabupaten Brebes. Hal ini terlihat dari pemerolehan N Gain  skor rata-rata yaitu 0,806498609 dengan kategori sangat efektif.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the factors that influence the implementation of Coaching in academic supervision to enhance the quality of teaching at SMP Negeri 2 Balapulang. A qualitative case study method was used, with data gathered through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that school principals recognize the significance of Coaching to support their roles as facilitators of learning. Teachers expressed a desire for more reflective supervision that facilitates their professional growth. Key factors contributing to the successful implementation of Coaching include teachers' willingness to embrace change and a well-organized supervision schedule. However, challenges such as the lack of formal Coaching training, authoritarian leadership styles, and the principals' heavy administrative duties were identified. The study suggests the development of Coaching programs that are tailored to meet the specific needs of schools and the adoption of more humanistic and collaborative supervision policies. It is anticipated that these changes will lead to improved teaching quality and promote continuous professional development for teachers.

Abstract

The moral and spiritual leadership model plays a strategic role in shaping the religious character of students at MTs Nurul Hidayah Majalangu, Watukumpul, Pemalang. Initial conditions indicate weak implementation of religious programs and low student awareness of worship practices, reflecting the suboptimal effectiveness of the conventional leadership style still in use. Through a qualitative approach based on literature review, it was found that values such as role modeling, responsibility, honesty, and the integration of religious values into policies and learning processes can have a positive impact on students' religious character. The success of this model is strongly influenced by the active involvement of teachers, parental participation, community support, as well as continuous supervision and evaluation. The systematic and collaborative application of moral and spiritual leadership is recommended as an effective strategy for strengthening religious character education in the madrasah environment. Abstract

Project-based learning model (PBL) as one of the innovative learning models based on students (student center) can be used and selected by teachers as one of the alternative learning methods that will provide a new "color" in learning from the generally conventional ones. The purpose of this study is to produce a project-based learning model that is feasible to improve life skills in social studies lessons in junior high schools and to describe and analyze the effectiveness of the project-based learning model that is effectively adapted to improve life skills in social studies lessons in junior high schools. The type of research used in this study is Research and Development (R&D). This study uses Borg & Gall's research and development procedures which are the basis for developing a project-based learning model to improve life skills in social studies subjects in grade VIII junior high schools. The data collection technique for this study uses Observation, Interviews, Test Questionnaires. Data analysis of the effectiveness of the project-based learning model to improve life skills in social studies lessons in junior high schools uses the Wilcoxon test. The conclusion of this study shows that 1) The current social studies learning in junior high schools is that teachers have not fully developed teaching materials that are oriented towards life skills. 2) The project-based learning model has proven to be effective in improving life skills. The results of the assessment by teachers get a Good category. This result is also supported by an increase in life skills. The calculation of the increase in life skills in three aspects, namely attitude, knowledge and skills, gets a significance value below 0.05 so that it can be interpreted that there is a significant difference in life skills before the pretest and after the posttest. Abstract

This article aims to conceptually examine the role of teachers’ pedagogical competence in enhancing students’ learning motivation within the primary education context, linking it to current educational policies and classroom practices. The study employs a literature review approach, complemented by preliminary empirical data from limited observations and interviews at the research site, as outlined in the thesis proposal. Data were analyzed descriptively and analytically, dialoguing conceptual insights with initial empirical findings, relevant learning motivation theories, pedagogical competence frameworks, and prior studies. The findings indicate that teachers’ pedagogical competence—particularly in understanding student characteristics, designing instructional activities, and utilizing interactive learning media—plays a crucial role in fostering students’ learning motivation. These results emphasize the need to enhance teachers’ pedagogical skills to improve instructional quality continuously. The novelty of this article lies in synthesizing the conceptual link between teachers’ pedagogical competence and students’ learning motivation, contextualized within actual classroom practices, providing a strong basis for future quantitative research.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of technology-based academic supervision on the performance of public junior high school teachers in Bantarkawung District. Technology-based academic supervision was implemented through the use of digital media, particularly classroom learning video recordings created by teachers. This research employed a quantitative approach. The population consisted of 105 teachers, with 83 teachers selected as the research sample. Data were collected using questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques included descriptive statistics, t-tests to examine partial effects, and F-tests to determine simultaneous effects. The results show that technology-based academic supervision has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, as indicated by positive regression coefficients and significant t and F test results at a significance level of 0.05. These findings indicate that technology-based academic supervision can enhance the effectiveness of teacher professional development and support sustainable improvement in teacher performance

Abstract

In the digital era, information and communication technology plays a crucial role in supporting the educational process. One of the widely used technological innovations is the use of LMS (Learning Management System). This article discusses the implementation of a Learning Management System (LMS)-based curriculum at Tegal's Vocational Training Institutes (LKP). LMS is expected to enhance the effectiveness of nonformal education by providing flexibility, efficiency, and relevance to workforce needs. Using a qualitative method with a literature review approach, this study identifies the benefits, challenges, and recommendations for LMS implementation. Findings indicate that LMS supports project-based learning and the Merdeka Curriculum but faces obstacles such as limited technological access, low digital literacy, resistance to change, and implementation costs. Addressing these challenges requires improving technological infrastructure, training educators, providing technical support, developing interactive content, and strengthening funding policies. These measures aim to optimize LMS in fostering inclusive, effective, and relevant education aligned with workforce demands.
