Abstract

Bomo Beach, which is managed by community groups to become a tourist attraction, has the potential for renewable energy in the form of solar and wind energy. This potential can be harnessed and converted into electrical energy. This study aims to design energy education media for solar power plants and wind power plants at Bomo beach, Banyuwangi regency. The design is carried out in accordance with the natural management of tourist beach. The power plant designed is the integration of the solar power plant system (PLTS) and the wind power plant system (PLTB). Solar power plants use solar panels while PLTB uses horizontal shaft wind turbines and vertical shafts. The energy housing is made as a power store with a 12 volts battery. The design results show that the integration design of solar power plants and PLTB can be applied as an energy education media.

Abstract

Bomo Beach in the Rogojampi sub-district, Banyuwangi district is one of the beaches managed by the local community as a tourist beach. This tourist beach has problems in the form of no electricity. This community service activity aims to develop Bomo tourist beaches based on alternative energy power generation education. The activity was carried out with management partners, namely the Kelompok Masyarakat Pengawas Perikanan (Pokmaswas) Benteng Samudra. Energy education activities are carried out by building energy houses equipped with solar panels as solar power generators (PLTS) and 2 windmills as wind power generators (PLTB). Implementation of activities provides benefits in the form of electricity supply that can be used as lighting and other needs. Activities provide the potential for new business development for the surrounding community and increase the number of visitors.

Abstract

Kelompok Tani di Desa Kalibaru Wetan merupakan komunitas petani penggiat padi nasional yang dipimpin oleh Sulihin, terdiri dari lima anggota petani dengan luas lahan untuk pertanian padi seluas lima hektar dengan produksi gabah rata-rata 8-9 ton/ha. Kelompok tani di Desa Kalibaru Wetan yang dipimpin oleh bapak Sulihin merupakan mitra keberlanjutan dari pengabdian sebelumnya mengenai pembuatan alat minyak bekatul (screew extruder), tetapi disini kapasitas produksi dan kualitas minyak bekatul masih rendah serta belum memiliki manajeman bersama untuk menjual produk minyak bekatul, teknologi screew extruder yang dipakai masih hanya kapasitas 25 kilogram perhari sedangkan hasil bekatul diwilayah Kalibaru Wetan sangat berlimpah (100-250kg/hari) dan bahkan dibuang begitu saja. Tujuan prioritas utama dalam pengabdian kali ini adalah peningkatan kapasitas produksi, perbaikan kualitas produk serta pemasaran produk dalam upaya peningkatan ekonomi petani padi dan manfaatnya adalah petani bisa paham trial dan error dari mesin screew extruder kapasitas 100kg yang dibuat. Metode yang digunakan adalah memasukkan bekatul kedalam mesin screew extruder kapasitas 100kg selama 10-15 menit untuk menghasilkan minyak.Hasil yang didapat adalah minyak yang dihasilkan lebih banyak dan berkualitas karena mesin lebih besar dan tertutup. Simpulan dari hasil pengabdian ini adalah petani memiliki penambahan pendapatan tambahan selain menjual bekatul juga bisa memproduksi minyak bekatul

Abstract

Indonesia's technological landscape is in a state of constant evolution, offering both unprecedented opportunities and formidable challenges to businesses. Strategic Human Resource (HR) optimization has emerged as a critical imperative to thrive in this dynamic environment. This research delves into the pivotal role of HR management in achieving sustainable profitability within the Indonesian technological landscape. The study employs a mixed-method approach, combining quantitative data from surveys and interviews with HR professionals, business leaders, and employees and qualitative data from industry reports and case studies. The findings underscore the importance of strategic HR optimization, revealing four key aspects: the role of HR in technological transformation, addressing the skills gap, promoting diversity and inclusion, and prioritizing employee engagement and well-being. In-depth analysis demonstrates that HR departments are crucial in guiding organizations through digital transformation. Aligning HR strategies with technology adoption leads to higher success rates and reduced resistance to change. Abstract

In the swiftly evolving digital era, the role of integrated communication strategies in online businesses within the Indonesian context is paramount. This research presents a comprehensive case study examining how these strategies wield influence in shaping and sustaining corporate image. With Indonesia as the backdrop, a dynamic landscape where online businesses thrive, our study offers profound insights into this multifaceted relationship. Approximately 82% of the surveyed online businesses actively engage in integrated communication strategies, transcending conventional communication channels. These strategies coalesce to present a coherent narrative that resonates with the audience. Moreover, 75% of respondents perceive a positive impact on their corporate image due to these strategies. Diving deeper, our findings elucidate the significance of coherence, a customer-centric approach, and continuous adaptation in navigating the digital era. Coherence in communication aligns with values, principles, and ethos. A customer-centric approach underscores the importance of customer satisfaction and loyalty in shaping a positive corporate image. Adaptation signifies a dynamic response to challenges, embracing innovation. The implications of this research extend into the broader landscape of corporate communication and image management in the digitally driven environment. It is a realm where perceptions are not static but dynamic, shaped by each communication endeavor and each online interaction. Challenges coexist with opportunities, and innovation thrives. Integrated communication strategies are instrumental in crafting a corporate identity that resonates with stakeholders and fortifying a favorable corporate image. This research offers businesses a compass to navigate the complexities of the digital era, aligning their narratives with their core values and principles to build and sustain a resilient corporate image.

Abstract

Education 5.0 is an innovative approach to education that integrates advanced technology and the latest learning methodologies to create a student-centred learning environment. The research method conducted in this study is literature. The results showed that students' digital intelligence, creativity, and collaborative skills improved. The implementation of Education 5.0, which embraces technology and innovative learning methodologies, facilitates a more dynamic and interactive learning environment, increasing student motivation and participation in the learning process. Study results indicated students engaged in an Education 5.0-based curriculum showed improved performance in complex problem solving, critical thinking, and teamwork, compared to traditional approaches. Furthermore, the findings suggest that educators, as facilitators, play a key role in inspiring student innovation and creativity through the use of technology and project-based learning approaches. The implementation of Education 5.0 not only enriches students' learning experiences but also prepares them with relevant skills for future challenges, underscoring the importance of transitioning to a more flexible and adaptive educational paradigm in preparing students for success in an ever-changing global society.

Abstract

Kelompok tani wanita di Desa Kajarharjo Kalibaru Wetan yang dipimpin oleh Ibu Endang merupakan mitra yang ikut serta dalam pengembangan minyak bekatul dimana mitra PKM tim pengusul sebelumnya  tahun 2023 yaitu kelompok tani bapak Sulihin yang merupakan suami ibu Endang yang masih dalam satu desa dengan kelompok tani bapak Abdullah Mitra PKM tahun 2022, keberlanjutan dari pengabdian tahun 2024 ini yang dimana proses pengembangan minyak bekatul baik dari segi mengemas yang belum maksimal, membuat logo produk dan pemasaran masih lemah walaupun dari PKM sebelumnya bisa menghasilkan 20-50 liter perhari sedangkan hasil bekatul diwilayah Desa Kajarharjo sangat berlimpah (100-250kg/hari) dan bahkan dibuang begitu saja. Tujuan prioritas utama dalam pengabdian kali ini perbaikan kualitas produk serta pemasaran produk dalam upaya peningkatan ekonomi petani padi dan manfaatnya adalah petani bisa paham tentang pengemasan produk. Metode yang digunakan adalah memasukkan minyak kedalam kemasan tertutup dan dirapatkan menggunakan sealer eletrik.Hasil yang didapat adalah minyak yang dihasilkan lebih banyak dan berkualitas karena pengemasan menggunakan alat yang steril. Simpulan dari hasil pengabdian ini adalah petani memiliki penambahan pendapatan tambahan selain menjual bekatul juga bisa memproduksi minyak bekatul

Abstract

Coffee is a plantation commodity that is made into a drink as one of the products that is popular with the public. Many coffee drink innovations have been made, one of which is a clear coffee drink without dregs. The process of making clear coffee can be done by the distillation method, namely the process of condensing the steam produced by a mixture of coffee powder and water. This study aims to obtain the design results of a clear coffee machine without dregs using the distillation method. The design is carried out based on the results of a patented study on making clear coffee. The coffee machine is made with a heating tube for a mixture of ground coffee and water, a steam collector tube and a distillation tube. The design results obtained a heating tube with a diameter of 25 cm and a height of 27 cm for a process capacity of 13.25 liters. Heating is performed using an LPG-fueled heater. The distillation process is carried out by cooling the water using a 15 watt aerator pump. The trial was carried out by processing 500 grams of fine coffee powder mixed with 2000 ml of water. The trial results obtained 500 ml of clear coffee with an average process time of ± 25 minutes.

Abstract

Indonesia is the fourth coffee producer in the world after Brazil, Vietnam and Colombia. However, in the 2018-2021 period, the value of Indonesian coffee exports experienced a decline, which was in line with the low volume of Indonesian coffee exports in that year compared to the previous period, so that Indonesia's position fell from fourth to fifth as a coffee exporting country in the world. These various things could be due to the lack of downstream processing in coffee processing in Indonesia. The current problem is that there is no tool for the process of separating coffee into clear coffee, this tool is available abroad and the price is quite expensive. This research tries to make a clear coffee streamer and analyzes the production results of a clear coffee streamer. The results of the design of a clear coffee streamer tool using stainless steel material can be used with a capacity of 20 liters and a maximum heating temperature of 100oC, while testing the production capacity of the clear coffee streamer tool produces data using a material volume of 1500 ml resulting in a production volume of 850 ml in a time of 75 minutes. Meanwhile, using a volume of 200 ml of material produces 950 ml with a time of 75 minutes.
