Abstract

E-learning relies on technology. It requires hardware, software, and network infrastructure. Most e-learning environments today are Web-based, so they can be accessed via Web browsers (using HTTP) over a TCP/IP network such as a university or campus network. The objective of this research is to describe the implementation and to find the strengths and weaknesses of the institution's platform of e-learning in ITB AAS Indonesia. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The result analysis shows that ITB AAS Indonesia has an e-learning system that can be accessed at https://itbaas.ac.id/elearning/. The learning process may be governed or managed by a system based on LMS (Learning Management System). The implementation of online English teaching by using e-learning consists include planning, implementation, and evaluation. In preparing English language teaching, the lecture follows instructions for creating materials. Before uploading material, the English lecturer prepares the material file that he/she wants to upload, fills in all material identities (title of the material, choice of courses, choice of class, material content) then uploads material files. In the implementation of English Language Teaching, the English lecturer prepares the media of video conferencing in online learning. The English lecturer carries out online learning by using Zoom meetings and YouTube Live Streaming. In evaluation, the English lecturer can evaluate by giving the mid-term and final semester tasks in the e-learning platform. The e-learning system in ITB AAS Indonesia has advantages, of course, it also has disadvantages. Therefore, the process of improving the e-learning application is still required and needs to be improved for the success of the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

This research describes the use of both Google Gemini and ChatGPT in English language learning. This research is descriptive qualitative. The analysis shows that both ChatGPT and Gemini provide valuable insights into AI's role in English language learning, though their approaches differ. ChatGPT focuses on practical applications like personalized feedback, chatbots, and analytics tools, emphasizing text generation and teacher workload reduction. Google Gemini, with its multimodal capabilities, highlights interactive learning systems, automation, and accessibility improvements in education. Both models stress personalization, interactivity, and teaching efficiency but with different emphases—ChatGPT on student analysis, Gemini on immersive experiences, and data-driven teaching. While both tools offer great potential, the choice between them depends on whether we prioritize text-based tasks (ChatGPT) or multimedia content (Google Gemini). Choosing between ChatGPT and Google Gemini depends on our specific needs. If we require text generation, such as creating articles or engaging in text-based conversations, ChatGPT is a better fit due to its focus on producing natural, relevant text. However, if you need to handle multiple types of data like text, images, audio, and video, Google Gemini's multimodal capabilities make it more versatile for multimedia tasks. While ChatGPT is ideal for text-based applications and integrates easily through APIs, Gemini is more suited for users within the Google ecosystem. ChatGPT is known for generating high-quality text, while Gemini provides good quality across various formats, but its effectiveness varies with context. Ultimately, the best choice depends on whether your focus is on text or multimedia tasks.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are the backbone of local economies and contribute significantly to national development. However, many MSMEs face challenges in adapting to digital market trends, limiting their ability to attract consumers and increase purchasing power. This research aims to design an e-commerce website tailored to the needs of MSMEs to help them reach wider markets and enhance customer buying interest. The study employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach using User-Centered Design (UCD) methodology to ensure that the website aligns with user preferences and business requirements. Data were collected through interviews and questionnaires with MSME owners and potential customers. The proposed system includes features such as product catalogs, shopping carts, secure payment options, and mobile responsiveness. Usability testing was conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) to evaluate user experience. The results indicate that the designed e-commerce platform can improve customer accessibility, trust, and transaction ease, thereby contributing to increased consumer purchasing behavior. This research provides valuable insights for the digital transformation of MSMEs through practical and user-friendly web solutions.
